15 Incredible Restaurants in Lititz, PA You Need to Try

A soft pretzel, a bar of milk chocolate and a stack of pancakes

Lititz is a small Moravian town in Lancaster County that punches well above its size at the table. Main Street and Broad Street, which meet at the town square, hold most of the restaurants below, all within an easy walk of Lititz Springs Park, the Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery and the old Wilbur Chocolate factory.

This guide covers 15 places, from a British pub with an award-winning beer list and a live-fire steakhouse to Brazilian cheese bread, Sicilian sandwiches and handmade pierogi, plus a few Pennsylvania Dutch classics just outside town. Ratings and review counts come from each restaurant’s Google listing in October 2026.

Bulls Head Public House

The Bulls Head Public House is a British-style pub at 14 East Main Street, inside the Lititz Springs Inn on the town square. The inn, formerly the General Sutter Inn, says its hospitality goes back to 1764. The pub fills what used to be the inn’s breakfast room, which a former owner from Liverpool converted into an authentic British pub.

Rated 4.6 stars from more than 2,700 Google reviews, it has a serious beer reputation. The pub says it was named Best Beer Bar in Pennsylvania in the Great American Beer Bars competition every year from 2015 through 2020. The food is pub classics. Order the fish and chips, the shepherd’s pie made with ground lamb, bangers and mash, or a Scotch egg (a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage, breaded and fried). Sticky toffee pudding closes the meal.

The pub is open for lunch and dinner every day and stays open late on Fridays and Saturdays. On Saturday mornings it serves a full English breakfast. Its page doesn’t mention reservations, so call (717) 626-2115 if you have a larger group. Mains are priced like a typical sit-down pub meal, and the menu changes with the seasons. The inn also has a separate dining room and a patio.

KōLE Chophouse

KōLE Chophouse is a steakhouse at 52 North Broad Street, just north of Main Street, in the historic Wilbur Chocolate Factory. The name comes from the Pennsylvania Dutch word for “coal,” and the kitchen cooks over live fire on a Josper grill fueled by wood-fired charcoal. The restaurant says it is one of only a handful in Pennsylvania certified to serve authentic Kobe beef.

With 4.6 stars from more than 1,700 Google reviews, KōLE keeps its steaks simple, seasoning them with only salt and pepper before they hit the fire. Try the tagliata (a sliced New York strip), the thin-sliced sirloin served sizzling in brown butter, or the prime striploin with smoked bone marrow. Japanese Wagyu and certified Kobe are priced at market. Start with the coffee-roasted bacon, crab croquettes or the oyster and shrimp Ice Bar.

KōLE serves dinner only. Reservations are encouraged through OpenTable, and walk-ins are welcome. The bar and lounge stay open later than the dining room. This is one of the pricier dinners in Lititz, since sauces and sides are ordered separately and a 20 percent service charge is added for parties of six or more. The dry-aged duck crown serves two to three and must be reserved a week ahead.

Beccafico

Beccafico is a Southern Italian restaurant at 27-31 East Main Street, co-founded by Executive Chef Sara Elia. The name comes from the Italian “beccafico” bird, which the restaurant calls a symbol of abundance and grace, and it honors Sara’s Italian heritage. Pastas are made in-house, and a hidden wine cellar bar called the Enoteca sits beneath the dining room.

Its 4.5-star rating across more than 200 Google reviews comes with a pasta-focused menu. The fall menu includes amatriciana with bucatini and guanciale (pork cheek), pappardelle with braised pork ragù, and rigatoni with broccoli rabe and sweet Italian sausage. On Sundays there is a slow-braised Sunday sauce with meatballs and sausage. For starters, try the calamari fritti or the grilled pork skewers with a sweet and sour fig sauce.

Dinner is served Monday and Thursday through Sunday, and brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are preferred and can be made on Resy, though walk-ins are welcome. The Enoteca is walk-in only on Friday and Saturday evenings. Monday nights feature live music. Per Diem

Per Diem is the restaurant at Hotel Rock Lititz, just over a mile north of Main Street and close to the Rock Lititz campus, a 96-acre complex where concert tours develop and rehearse their shows before heading out on the road. The hotel’s rooms are decorated with road-case doors and backstage-pass wallpaper. Per Diem opened in 2018, and its menu is built around regional farms, foragers and producers.

Per Diem holds 4.5 stars across more than 700 Google reviews, and its menu changes with the harvest. On the fall dinner menu, look for the PD wings, which are cured for 16 hours and tossed in a rub or sauce of your choice, the short rib French onion pizza, the roasted half chicken, the lobster ravioli and the Tour Burger, a double smash burger. Oysters and beef tartare make good starters.

Book through Resy. Per Diem also serves a Sunday brunch, a hot breakfast buffet Monday through Saturday and a late-night bar menu. Once a month, on the second Thursday, it hosts Table 14, a reservation-only chef’s table that seats just six. A 3 percent fee applies to credit card payments, while cash and debit are exempt. Brazilian Table

Brazilian Table is a cozy café and bakery at 26 East Main Street, a few doors from the town square, led by Chef Silvia Boff. She trained as a chef in Brazil and began with cooking classes and catering before opening her own café. The aroma of freshly baked cheese bread fills the room, and the menu runs from savory plates to sweets.

Its 4.9-star rating across more than 800 Google reviews is hard to beat. Start with pão de queijo, the chewy Brazilian cheese bread, which the café says is gluten-free in its original form. Cheese bread also comes filled, as in the beef and peppers, made with braised beef and sweet peppers. Chef Silvia’s signature feijoada is a black bean and pork stew served with rice, collard greens and farofa (seasoned corn flour). For dessert, try the caramel flan, her mother’s recipe.

This is a daytime café. It is closed on Mondays and shuts by late afternoon on most other days, so plan a late breakfast or lunch. Online ordering and takeout are available, and a new weekly special is posted on Instagram. The café has posted closures of about a week for staff vacation, so check before making a special trip. The savory pastries include coxinha, which is filled with chicken and herbs.

Piccolo Eatery

Piccolo Eatery is a compact Sicilian sandwich shop at 53 East Main Street, a short walk east of the town square. Chef and owner Nino Elia says he has cooked authentic Sicilian food for 50 years and has called Lititz home for nine. The menu is sandwiches, personal flatbread pizzas, homemade soups and desserts, built on imported Italian meats and cheeses and local seasonal produce.

Earning 4.7 stars from more than 100 Google reviews, Piccolo is the place for a proper Italian sandwich on a crusty baguette. Try the Terra Nostra, with prosciutto cotto, mortadella, prosciutto crudo, provolone and house-roasted hot peppers, or the roast pork with broccoli rabe. Pani cunzatu is a classic Sicilian toasted sandwich of tomato, anchovy and fresh cheese. Italian wedding soup and a cannoli finished with candied orange peel round out lunch.

Piccolo is a daytime spot, open Tuesday through Saturday from morning to mid-afternoon and closed Sunday and Monday. On select Saturday evenings Chef Nino hosts a five-course, BYOB date night focused on a different region of Italy. Call (717) 627-4411 to book, because payment is taken in advance. Rooster Street Brewing

Rooster Street Brewing is a small restaurant, bar and brewery at 11 South Cedar Street, a short walk south of Main Street. It began in 2012 as Rooster Street Butcher, started by Tony and Kristina Page to sell pasture-raised meat free of added hormones and antibiotics, and that butcher-shop thinking still shapes the kitchen. The menu is made from scratch, and the beer is brewed in-house.

It holds 4.6 stars from more than 600 Google reviews, and it is a good stop for hearty bar food. Order The Rooster, a spicy fried chicken thigh sandwich with housemade ranch, shaved cabbage and sweet pickles, or The Lititz Cheesesteak with shaved ribeye, truffle cheese sauce and beer-caramelized onions. The BBQ bacon burger, Korean BBQ meatballs and smoked sausage with pierogies are also on the menu, along with steak and frites.

The dining room is small, so reservations are worth making. Call to book and leave a message with your name, date, time and party size, and the staff will call back to confirm. Tables are held for 15 minutes, with time limits by party size. Check the hours before you go, since the website lists Wednesday through Saturday and one page also shows Tuesday evening. Ten craft beers rotate on tap, and there is a small lot behind the building.

Tomato Pie Cafe

Tomato Pie Cafe is an eclectic café at 23 North Broad Street, a short walk north of Main Street, run by the Fisher family. The family says it has been serving guests for 25 years through several food businesses, including a bake shoppe and a spot at Rock Lititz. The namesake dish is tomato pie: fresh red tomatoes seasoned with herbs, baked in the café’s own pie shell and topped with a blend of cheeses. The menu is quick to point out that it is not pizza.

Rated 4.5 stars from more than 1,800 Google reviews, it is a breakfast and lunch favorite. Order the tomato pie, served warm with greens and a savory herb scone, or a mini one to share. Other picks include the maple and spice French toast, the Philly cheesesteak hash, the curry chicken salad and the brie and turkey croissant. Fall features have included pumpkin cream pancakes and a spinach artichoke version of the tomato pie.

The café is open daily from early morning to mid-afternoon, so come for breakfast or lunch rather than dinner. Menus change with the seasons, with featured lattes and pastries to match, and gluten-free versions of the tomato pie and some other dishes are available, though the kitchen is not gluten-free. It is an easy first stop before walking the shops along Main Street.

Slate Cafe

Slate Cafe is a light-fare café at 43 East Main Street, serving breakfast and lunch all day alongside house-made pastries. Twin sisters Emily and Eryn McCoy opened it in the former Spill Cafe space, with seating for about 30 inside and two small tables out front. They wanted it to feel like a place to catch up with friends or get some work done. The café has also hosted gallery openings and live music.

Slate’s 4.6-star rating comes from more than 500 Google reviews, and it is a good pick for a relaxed morning. Order a breakfast sandwich on a bagel or ciabatta, or the blueberry bacon bagel, then come back for lunch with the Caprese salad. The rotating pastry case has included scones, crumb cake, whoopie pies, triple chocolate brownies and energy bites, plus gluten-free options.

The kitchen closes by late afternoon, and earlier on Sundays, so come for breakfast or an early lunch. Slate also makes house-made dog treats, and the menu includes espresso drinks, tea and other coffee-shop drinks. Cafe Arabella is a modern farmhouse-style café at 40 East Main Street in downtown Lititz, serving hand-crafted coffee and made-to-order breakfast and lunch. Dosie Dough

Dosie Dough is a bakery and café at 45 South Broad Street, a short walk south of Main Street, and it has been part of downtown Lititz since November 1996. It grew out of a stand that Marsha Baron started at the Shillington Farmers Market in 1988, and her daughter Amy Lloyd has run the café since 1998. The shop calls itself home of “The Best Buns in Town.”

Daily baking earns Dosie Dough 4.7 stars across more than 700 Google reviews. Fresh bagels, European-style breads, donuts and pastries are made in-house, and breakfast and lunch sandwiches are built to order on bagels, croissants or in wraps. Add a cup of the shop’s organic Dosie Dough coffee. For lunch there are soups and salads, including a lentil salad, and the brownies and whoopie pies are worth a look.

Dosie Dough opens early and closes at 2 p.m., so it works best for breakfast or an early lunch. There is comfortable seating inside, and the shop takes online orders for pickup. The café describes itself as a place to relax, work or catch up with friends, which makes it an easy spot to linger over coffee. Check hours before you go, as Sunday hours start a little later.

Zig’s Bakery & Cafe

Zig’s Bakery & Cafe is on East Newport Road, a short drive from Main Street, at Brick Gables, a restored 19th-century barn that now hosts weddings and events. The bakery traces back to Minnich’s Farm Bakery, which opened in 1970 in a farmhouse on Green Acre Road in Lititz. Brandon Ziegler bought it in 2006 and later renamed it Zig’s. Its dinner rolls and Moravian sugar cake recipes are more than 50 years old.

Zig’s has 4.6 stars from more than 800 Google reviews, and it is a good place to try Pennsylvania Dutch baking. Moravian sugar cake is a soft yeast coffee cake baked with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon, a tradition of the Moravians who founded Lititz. Also look for whoopie pies (two soft cakes with a creamy filling), sand tart cookies, daily soups and sandwiches such as chicken salad on a handmade roll.

Zig’s is closed on Sundays and opens early the rest of the week. Order at the counter, then find a seat in the cozy dining area. Online pickup orders need 24 hours’ notice. The bakery also has stands at Lancaster Central Market and the Lebanon Farmers Market, if you are exploring farther afield. Inna’s Pierogi Shop

Inna’s Pierogi Shop makes handmade pierogi in the Compass Mill complex at 811 Rothsville Road, roughly a mile and a half southeast of Main Street. Pierogi are Ukrainian and Polish-style filled dumplings, sautéed until golden. The shop was founded by Inna Kondramashin to preserve her family’s Eastern European traditions, and it is now owned by Emily Gonzalez and Michael Ortiz. The dough is vegan, made with homemade oat milk.

The shop holds 4.5 stars from more than 100 Google reviews and mixes traditional fillings with newer ones. Try the potato and onion, potato and cheddar, or farmer’s cheese pierogi. Gourmet flavors include buffalo chicken, jalapeño cheddar and Philly cheesesteak, and seasonal fillings range from barbecue brisket to cherry for dessert. For a full meal, order a platter topped with local kielbasa and sauerkraut, or the Combo Platter, which the shop calls its number-one hit.

Hours are short. The Lititz shop is open Thursday through Saturday, with holiday exceptions, and the shop also sells at Lancaster Central Market on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It operates like a shop first, so call ahead to ask about seating before planning a sit-down meal. Orders can be placed online. The pierogi are not gluten-free, and the shop does not ship.

Brickerville House

Brickerville House Restaurant is a family-run restaurant in a sandstone inn built in the 1700s by John and Barbara Bricker, on Route 322 in the village of Brickerville, about five miles north of downtown Lititz. The building served stagecoach travelers between Philadelphia and Harrisburg, and later became a general store and gift shop. Today it has five dining rooms, some with exposed beams and a huge stone fireplace, and seats about 225.

Brickerville’s 4.6-star rating from more than 3,400 Google reviews reflects its homestyle meals, with breakfast all day. Cinnabun pancakes and homemade corned beef hash are the breakfast favorites. At dinner, try roast turkey or beef over filling (a Pennsylvania Dutch-style bread stuffing) with gravy, or baked ham with pineapple raisin sauce. The restaurant also says it serves traditional hogmaw (pig’s stomach stuffed with sausage and potatoes), pork and sauerkraut and oyster pie.
