Byron is a city in Peach County, Georgia.

On Highway 41 North, the historic Middle Georgia Raceway proudly stands the test of time.
The raceway hosted nine different NASCAR Grand National Races.
Likewise, the Atlanta International Pop Festival took place there in 1970.
The festival is one of Byron’s most notable events because the legendary musician Jimi Hendrix, plus the Allman Brothers Band, played there.

It’s 20 minutes from Byron.
At the lake, you can go fishing and get a chance to catch some red-ear sunfish, bluegill, crappie, largemouth bass, and channel catfish.
The lake’s natural wooded habitat attracts many varieties of fish, especially during the summer, which makes it a great spot for fishing.

The garden features over 1,000 varieties of camellias filling the nine-acre headquarters.

Founded in 1945, the American Camellia Society specializes in growing and fostering the camellia plant.

The Big House was once the home of the Allman Brothers Band.
This place is in Macon, Georgia, 16 minutes from Byron.
The late Allman brothers Duane and Gregg founded the band in 1969 in Florida and later moved to Macon.
