But the star of the show was undoubtedly the gyro - succulent, fresh, and oh-so-delicious.

I decided to try out Dovetail Joint Restaurant after many of my friends recommended it, and now I absolutely understand their enthusiasm.
One weekday evening around 5 PM, I found the place bustling with a good crowd, reflecting its popularity.
We ended up ordering a variety of dishes, and I regret not capturing pictures of all the scrumptious food we relished.
The taste of every dish, from the pizza to the tacos, chicken sandwich, and even the beet salad, was just amazing.
But the dessert was the real show-stopper.
You must try all three options, but I must say, the donut holes were my absolute favorite.
The gumbo is another delightful item on their menu, extremely flavorful and satisfying.
And much to my surprise, the fish tacos, though served as a single piece, were fairly large and incredibly tasty.
On a Saturday night, the place was teeming with a lively crowd, so I’d recommend making a reservation if you plan to go.
One thing I can assure you is that I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit.
And let me tell you, in my opinion, Dovetail Joint is definitely one of the best restaurants here in Tricities.
Their pizza is unparalleled in taste, their cocktail selection is impressive, and the vegetable appetizers present a unique blend of flavors.

Zullee (Kabob House)
It's always a delightful experience when I go to Zullee (Kabob House).
As someone who appreciates the essence of Mediterranean cuisine, Zullee never disappoints.
I remember the first time I tried their gyro dinner and chicken kabob.
While I found the seasoning on the meat not quite to my taste and the chicken a bit salty for my palate, the cooking was spot on.
The Greek salad was served alongside fresh, crisp vegetables, and the rice - oh, the rice was delicious.
My partner, on the other hand, loved his chicken shawarma.
On another visit, as soon as I entered, a warm smile and a heartening wave greeted me.
I started off with hummus and a falafel appetizer which were both amazing.
The soft, warm pita bread complemented the hummus perfectly, and the olive oil used was of decent quality.

Every now and then, a night out at The Bradley is a must.
The food is absolutely delicious at a price that is slightly less than what you'd expect for such quality.
The Duck Bao Buns, Braided Pork Belly, Bone Marrow, and Brisket Corn Dogs were all phenomenal.
The overall ambiance and experience were amazing.
I remember having the watermelon salad and bread with spreads, especially the parsley & garlic one - all remarkable.
The sablefish could do with a bit more crispiness and acidity, but the Bumbu Smash cocktail stole the show.
I could have sipped on it all night.
My partner enjoyed the Bradley signature cocktail, especially the presentation, and the customer service was top-notch.
Graze | Richland
Ah, Graze | Richland, a familiar lunch spot.
I remember my first visit there distinctly; I had a sandwich, and it was simply delightful, bursting with flavor and freshness.
On another occasion, I decided to treat my mom on Mother's Day to their takeaway.
My mom chose the Panini chicken sandwich, and I figured I'd try something different this time.
I opted for the pulled pork torta, a meal I usually grab from a taco truck, and a half salad.
We were in for a surprise when we got home.
My mom's sandwich was unfortunately overcooked and unusually salty, while my meal was good but nothing spectacular.
The half salad, though, was a pleasant surprise.
It was generously portioned and tasted fantastic.
I also have to give credit to the cleanliness of the place, considering how packed it was that day.

My friends and I decided to have lunch at Family Garden last weekend.

The place is pretty laid-back, and I must say, a perfect spot for hanging out with friends.
It's spacious, well-lit, and always clean.
One thing that really got us excited was the sushi bar; it’s not something you see every day around here.
We decided to try out a variety of dishes.
We ordered the pork lo mein, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, and Kung pao chicken, but we substituted the sauce for Schechuan bangbang sauce.
I was amazed at how quickly the food came out.
It was all fresh and steaming hot, clearly indicating that it was not pre-cooked.
The lo mein was the best I've ever had in the city, and the Schechuan bangbang chicken was out of this world.
The soups were really good, and the hot and sour had a kick of spiciness which was impressive.
The sweet and sour chicken was decent, but the side of fried rice that came with it didn't really meet my expectations.
One thing I must highlight is their service.
The portion sizes were also quite generous, which was a pleasant surprise.
Apart from the fried rice, everything else was pretty great.
Baby J's BBQ
Let me tell you about a little gem tucked away in our city: Baby J's BBQ.
This isn't your run-of-the-mill BBQ joint, no.
This is a place that lives and breathes the true essence of smoked meats.
The moment you step foot inside, you're greeted by the unmissable scent of smoky deliciousness that instantly sets the tone for what's to come.
The pulled pork here is simply to die for - possibly the best I've ever tasted, and I've had my fair share of BBQ.
And if you think that's it, wait till you try their fresh pickles.
They're an absolute game-changer!
I find myself making excuses to pass by this place just to get a taste of their heavenly food.
If you're like me and enjoy a good 'hole in the wall' experience, Baby J's is sure to impress.
I've had BBQ from all over the South, and this place holds its own against the best.
The meat here is perfectly seasoned and cooked just right - not too chewy, not overdone.
The outer crust is delightfully crisp without being burnt, and the flavors are bold but well-balanced, never too spicy or sweet.
The folks here even manage to make cole slaw a must-have, with its fresh crunch and a delightful sprinkling of celery seeds.
But what impresses me the most about Baby J's is how they handle carry outs.
When you want a homecooked-like meal but are too busy to cook, they've got you covered.
Monterosso's Italian Restaurant
It's not every day that one stumble upon a hidden treasure in their hometown.
I discovered Monterosso's Italian Restaurant during one of my many explorations, nestled snugly within an antique railroad dining car.
Its uniqueness caught my attention, and it was love at first sight - or should I say, bite?
My visit, though impromptu, turned out to be quite the gastronomic adventure.
With every bite, I found myself transported to Italy, savoring the authentic flavors that were painstakingly crafted to perfection.
The Tortellini Oreste with scallops was a masterpiece.
Each morsel was packed with such rich, robust flavors that I was left wanting more.
My companion, on the other hand, opted for the Chicken Marsala.
But the dining experience at Monterosso's goes beyond the food.
The intimate ambiance, reminiscent of a bygone era, adds to the charm.
And then there's the exemplary service.
Fat Olives Restaurant & Catering
I've always been a food enthusiast, and finding a new place to dine in the city is like a mini-adventure for me.
One of my recent culinary explorations led me to Fat Olives Restaurant & Catering.
The first thing I noticed was their happy hour prices, which were quite affordable.
The menu wasn't too limited, which is a plus for someone like me who loves to try new dishes.
On my first visit, I decided to try their Alfredo - it turned out to be the best decision of the day.
The Alfredo was creamy and flavorful, something I hadn't tasted in a while.
Their focaccia garlic bread was another surprise - I had never tried one before, but it was fantastic.

For those who love experimenting with different flavors, I suggest trying their Lemon cod.
The fish is cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a sauce that has just the right amount of lemon to not overwhelm the dish.
Add a side of their delectable asparagus and artichokes, and you have a meal to remember!
While the food is almost always amazing, there have been days when the service was slower, and the food arrived colder than expected.
One more thing that I absolutely adore about this place is the vibe.
It's chill and modern, and they have the best whiskey selection in the city.
Although I wish they had more bar seating, the patios are a delight - perfect for a relaxed evening with friends.
They even have a DJ playing outside sometimes, adding to the overall ambiance of the place.
A major bonus for dessert lovers like me is their lava cake - it's absolutely to die for!
So, even if you're stuffed after your meal, I recommend saving some room for this sweet treat.
Fujiyama Japanese Steak House & Bar
My family and I have been regulars at Fujiyama Japanese Steak House & Bar.
We absolutely enjoy the show!
There's one in particular, though I can't recall his name, who has never failed to cook our food perfectly.
We always make sure to get a table for the show, it's a must!
The service is speedy and efficient.
Our water glasses are always refilled in a timely manner, which is something I greatly appreciate.
One of the highlights for us is the Yum Yum sauce.
It's just so mouthwateringly good, especially when paired with fried rice.
The portions are big, so don't be surprised if you end up taking some leftovers home.
The food and service are excellent, and the pricing is worth every penny.
LU LU Craft Bar + Kitchen
There's no place like LU LU Craft Bar + Kitchen for a hearty meal and a great view.
On the banks of the river, LU LU's has one of the best patios in the city.
This modern tavern has a trendy yet cozy atmosphere that I absolutely love.
Feasting on their locally grown produce and meats is always a delight.
I swear, the chicken and waffles are to die for.
They might just be the best in the Tri-Cities!
The Rib eye is consistently amazing, and the pig candy - oh, the pig candy - is a must for any visit.
You can't go wrong with any of the burgers at Lulu's, either!
One of my memorable meals was the ahi tacos.
They were excellent!
The quality of the ingredients is always top-notch.
I tried the fried chicken sandwich and the carrot cake on a busy night.
Even then, the wait time was bearable, and the food, as always, was worth it.
Isla Bonita Mexican Restaurant
As a resident, you'll find that there's nothing better than grabbing a hearty plate of enchiladas or fajitas after a long day.
That's why I often find myself at Isla Bonita Mexican Restaurant.
What I love about this place is its homestyle Mexican fare served in an unpretentious setting.
I was greeted with warm smiles, and the service was excellent.
The food hit the right spot, and trust me, the portions are quite generous.
I ended up taking home leftovers!
Comparing it to other Mexican eateries I've been to, even the one in Texas, Isla Bonita's food has a certain charm that sets it apart.
Everything is cooked to perfection, from the thicker and better flavored chips to the not-too-sweet flan.
Even their corn tortilla, which I'm not usually a fan of, tasted great!
Apollo Greek Cuisine
One can't help but be charmed by Apollo Greek Cuisine, tucked away in the heart of our city.
The exterior might not catch your eye at first glance, but don't let that fool you.
Once you step inside, the warm, unpretentious atmosphere will immediately put you at ease.
While the setting is quite simple, the food served is extraordinary, with a wide array of classic Greek dishes.
From falafel to spinach pie and lamb chops, it's as if every meal transports you straight to Greece.
One of my personal favorites has to be the gyro sandwich.
The flavor is so distinct and rich, it's a true testament to Greek culture.
The place isn't usually crowded, especially during the early evening hours.
It's a perfect spot for a quiet date night or a peaceful family dinner.
3 Margaritas
One of my favorite spots to unwind after a long week is 3 Margaritas.
This brightly colored restaurant is an institution in my city, serving Mexican classics and their signature margaritas.
The very first time I went, I wasn't too impressed with the food, it was just average.
However, the drinks and service were outstanding, which prompted me to give them a second chance.
And I'm glad I did.
On my subsequent visits, their food has been consistently good, especially their Don Remy Special.
It's a hearty dish of top sirloin steak, or skirt steak if you ask nicely, accompanied by bacon-wrapped shrimp and a mix of grilled onion and peppers.
Their rice has this unique taste that I can't get enough of.
Don't forget to ask for the bean dip for your chips, it's delicious.

Richland, Washington, truly is a hidden gem when it comes to food.
