I finally visited Zabb a while ago, and it did not disappoint.
The service is great, and the food is even better.
My friends and I ordered the tempura shrimps, wontons, and egg rolls as appetizers – all were a hit, but the shrimps were my personal favorite.
For entrees, we easily split the Green Curry and Drunken Noodles.
The portion sizes are generous, more than enough for two people with some leftovers to take home.
And don't even get me started on the cocktails – the Bird of Paradise was fantastic!
Zabb Thai has become my go-to place for lunch or early/late dinner.
Another time I visited, I tried Pad Thai.
It was spot on and made our experience 10 times better.
Served very hot and spicy, I would definitely return to this great Thai restaurant again and again.
The atmosphere at Zabb is also noteworthy.
I like to go on Sundays for the champagne lunch special, even though I don't drink.
They always accommodate me with another drink of my choice.
The decor inside and out is photo-worthy, and there's even a lit fireplace, which makes the place feel relaxing and romantic.
The Dock
I live close to The Dock, and I must say, it has become one of my favorite spots to dine in Newport.
The waterside location of the restaurant is amazing, and it offers a relaxed, modern vibe with fantastic views.

The industrial decor and blackboard menu listing pho, bao buns, and banh mi baguettes caught my eye.
I ordered the Grilled Pork Spring rolls and the Pork Belly Crazy Rich 'Bao' Steamed Bun Slider.
The spring rolls were delicious, and the rest was nothing short of fantastic.
Basilic
Just the other night, I decided to treat myself to a lovely dinner at Basilic, a charming French-Swiss eatery tucked away on Balboa Island.
I've been coming here for years, and it never disappoints.
I started my meal with their special balsamic salad, which was a delightful mix of radicchio, endive, arugula, blue cheese, pear, caramelized walnut, and fresh pomegranate.

Parking is pretty easy, as you can either pay for a spot right in front of the restaurant or find free parking up one of the nearby hilly streets.
I must say that the food here is really good.
The mac and cheese is simply divine, and we often order all the different steaks and share them among our group.
