Sugar Creek Barbeque Co

Last weekend, my friends and I decided to visit Sugar Creek Barbeque Co after a long day of hiking around Brown County.

The place is located just on the outskirts of Nashville, and it was a great decision to dine here.

The restaurant has a cute BBQ country decor with 4-top tables and 4 counter seats at a bar top.

We started off with their fried pickle fries appetizer, which was amazing!

For our main course, we all ordered the Large Pulled Pork Sandwich with different sides - chips and onion rings.

The pulled pork had a nice smoked flavor and was good, lean meat.

It was just what we needed to recharge after an active day.

The sauces offered were also tasty, and we ended up going with the regular sauce, as we're not into super sweet sauces.

One thing that caught our eye was their dessert options - Sugar Cream Pie, Peach Cobbler, and Cinnamon Apple Bread Pudding.

Gyros Food Nashville

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Gyros Food Nashville for the first time, and I must say that it lived up to all the praise I've heard about it.

Located in a small alley, it might be easy to miss, but once you find it, you're in for a treat.

The first thing I noticed was the cute little spot off the main drag, which gave a unique and cozy atmosphere.

As I sat outside on a nice day, I couldn't help but take in the positive vibes.

Now, let's talk about the reason we're here: the gyros.

I ordered a lamb/beef gyro with the works, and it exceeded my expectations.

The portion of meat and sauce was large on the 7" gyro, and the meat was on the peppery side, perfectly complemented by the creamy house-made tzatziki sauce.

The fresh veggies and tzatziki sauce truly made the gyro one of the best I've ever had.

The Nashville Chop House

I've got to tell you about this amazing place I visited recently - The Nashville Chop House.

My friends and I decided to treat ourselves to a fancy dinner, and we were not disappointed!

As soon as we walked in, we were struck by the warm, inviting atmosphere and the unique military-themed decor.

We started off with the steak tip appetizer, and it was divine!

The steak bites were so tender and flavorful that we couldn't help but order a second round.

For our main courses, I opted for the filet, while my friends tried the fish special (crispy trout) and asparagus.

Every dish was cooked to perfection, and the portions were quite generous too.

The Nashville Chop House truly takes pride in honoring our military veterans, and it was fascinating to see memorabilia and tributes adorning the walls.

What really stood out to me was the incredible service we received throughout the night.

The price for such a delicious and high-quality meal was quite reasonable as well.

If you're in the area and looking for an exceptional dining experience, do yourself a favor and check out The Nashville Chop House.

Trust me; you won't regret it!

After a long day of exploring the local shops, I decided to stop by Brozinni Pizzeria for a quick and satisfying meal.

As soon as I walked through the door, the irresistible aroma of freshly baked pizza filled the air.

I went for their New York Style Pizza and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the slices.

The garlic knots were also a hit, smothered in a buttery sauce that I couldn't get enough of.

I opted for a Garlic Ricotta slice, which had a garlic white sauce with generous mounds of creamy ricotta that tasted heavenly.

My friend ordered a pepperoni and sausage slice with mushrooms, black olives, and green peppers, which they said was like a supreme-style pizza and absolutely delicious.

The service was attentive, and our food arrived quickly, considering the place was quite busy that evening.

They also offer a big selection of salads, stuffed breadsticks, and patio seating, which would be perfect for a sunny day.

Trails End Roadhouse & StoneHead Pizza Co.

As a restaurant critic, I must say that Trails End Roadhouse & StoneHead Pizza Co. in Nashvill has truly captured my heart.

It has become one of my favorite places to hang out and indulge in a delightful meal with friends.

The restaurant exudes a rustic charm, seamlessly blending the essence of a roadhouse with the inviting ambiance of a pizzeria.

And on pleasant summer evenings, their outdoor patio is an idyllic spot to savor your food.

Now, let's delve into the culinary experience.

The menu offers an extensive array of options, ranging from delectable appetizers to satisfying sandwiches.

However, the true star of the show is their artisan pizza.

The sheer variety of toppings and combinations is impressive, but I settled on the Trailblazer pizza.

It proved to be a wise choice, as the crust struck the perfect balance between crispy and chewy, while the toppings were exceptionally fresh, bursting with flavor.

My companions were equally delighted with their selections, such as the Brisket pizza and the Veggie pizza.

One aspect that sets Trails End Roadhouse & StoneHead Pizza Co. apart is their commitment to sourcing locally.

It's truly commendable to support a business that not only delivers delicious food but also champions local farmers and suppliers.

In addition to their remarkable pizza, the drink options are equally noteworthy.

I sampled one of their signature cocktails, the Georgia Peach, and it proved to be a refreshing and delightful accompaniment to my meal.

Furthermore, their selection of craft beers and spirits is sure to satisfy any discerning palate.

Bird's Nest Cafe

Bird's Nest Cafe offers comfort fare like eggs benedict, burgers, and even brunch and cocktails.

We tried their popular early bird special, which included two eggs, two pieces of bacon, potatoes, and an English muffin.

I also had a delightful pineapple mimosa to accompany my meal.

We opted for outdoor seating, which gave us a chance to appreciate the enchanting garden-like ambiance.

There were even tables placed inside a gazebo, which added an extra touch of charm to the place.

Bird's Nest Cafe is also very accommodating for families and stroller space, with enough room inside to make everyone feel comfortable.

One thing I appreciated about their menu is that it is very vegan and vegetarian-friendly, so everyone can find something delicious to enjoy.

The food was exceptional, and the presentation made it even more appetizing.

As a big fan of trying out different restaurants in my hometown, I recently decided to pay a visit to Hobnob Corner in Nashville, Indiana.

Located in a historic 1873 landmark building, this cozy eatery gives you a feeling of stepping back in time.

Looking around, I couldn't help but notice the beautiful interior with fairy lights near the ceiling that accentuated the old charm of the place.

It felt like an old-time restaurant with its proud pharmacy heritage displayed all around.

The menu was straightforward, offering a good variety of starters, salads, entrees, and desserts, which made me really appreciate the simplicity of earlier times.

I decided to go for the spinach salad with a creamy house vinaigrette while my friend ordered the cheeseburger and fries.

The spinach salad came with a roll so good that I quickly devoured it before remembering to take a photo.

Everything tasted super fresh and delicious.

Big Woods Pizza

One of my favorite places to eat in Nashville is definitely Big Woods Pizza.

Not only do they offer signature pizzas, but they also have house-brewed ales and occasional live music, making it a perfect spot for a laid-back evening out with friends or family.

The menu has a decent variety, so even if someone in your group doesn't want pizza, they won't be disappointed.

I personally love their pulled pork sandwich with the classic BBQ sauce - the brioche bun and flavorful sauce make it a real treat.

Big Woods Pizza is also known for its delicious pizzas, and I highly recommend the hand-tossed crust.

If you're a vegetarian, the veggie pizza is a great option.

The pork nachos are also a crowd favorite and perfect for sharing with the table.

I can't forget to mention the dessert options.

Although the sugar cream pie is a popular choice, I was fortunate enough to try the skillet cookie on my last visit.

It's a warm chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup - a perfect way to end your meal.

Brown Bike Eatery & Drinkery

I recently had the opportunity to visit Brown Bike Eatery & Drinkery in downtown Nashville.

This fabulous spot offers great outdoor space and a pet-friendly patio, which I thoroughly enjoyed with my dog.

Food and drinks at Brown Bike are a must-try.

I absolutely loved their spiked Italian ice drink, which was made with freshly squeezed lemons – such a refreshing treat!

I also tried their artichoke dip and a flatbread, both of which were delicious.

For my main course, I opted for the fried chicken salad with honey mustard and ranch dressing.

The salad was served in a plastic bowl, which I found a little odd, but the ingredients were fresh and tasty, making up for it.

What sets Brown Bike apart from other eateries in the area is the efficiency of its service.

The bike-themed décor and plenty of outdoor seating options make it a perfect spot for a casual lunch or an afternoon snack.

Heavenly Biscuit

One of my favorite places to go for breakfast is Heavenly Biscuit.

This comfy, wood-lined hangout is the perfect spot to enjoy homemade biscuits, hefty burgers, and bottomless coffee.

As soon as you walk in, you're given a table and free to get your own drinks and place your order.

I absolutely love their biscuits. They're so light, fluffy, and to die for!

And don't even get me started on their biscuits and gravy – it's a showstopper.

Their biscuit sandwich with ham, tomato, egg, and cheese is beyond tasty and delicious.

On weekends, they even offer quiche, which is a nice treat.

There's also a giant cinnamon roll with pecans that is drool-worthy – very moist, tender, flaky, buttery, and all-around phenomenal.

One thing to note is that they're cash only, and since everything is handmade from scratch, the wait times for food can be a bit longer.

They also have outdoor seating that is heated, as well as a few open patio seats, which make for a great atmosphere to start your day.

Ferguson House Bistro & Bar

If you're looking for a restaurant in Nashville that truly has it all, look no further than the Ferguson House Bistro & Bar.

I recently dined there and was completely blown away by the entire experience.

The menu changes with the seasons, offering a variety of unique and delicious dishes like the leak cashew dip, shrimp, and soups.

As someone who prefers a vegetarian diet, I was delighted to find that they offer a vegetarian and non-vegetarian soup of the day, making it a very vegetarian-friendly spot.

One of the highlights of my visit was the outstanding service.

The food was absolutely divine – the red pepper hummus and brussels sprouts were fantastic appetizers, and the southwest wrap I ordered came with some of the best potato salad I've had in a while.

My friends raved about the pit beef sandwich and the bison burger, which was so good that one of them considered ordering a second!

Another great feature of Ferguson House Bistro is its charming interior, complete with local paintings for sale on the walls.

They also offer outdoor seating and a beer garden, which is perfect for those beautiful Nashville days.

During my visit, we were able to sit outside under the heater and listen to live music, making for an incredibly memorable dining experience.

Artists Colony Inn

I recently decided to have a staycation at the Artists Colony Inn & Restaurant in Nashville, Indiana!

The inn is located right in the heart of downtown Nashville, within walking distance of over 300 shops and art galleries.

It's also just a short drive away from the beautiful Brown County State Park.

When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the quaint and laid-back atmosphere of the inn.

The room was cozy, and although the walls were a bit thin, it wasn't a significant issue during my stay.

The free breakfast buffet, parking, and WiFi were nice added bonuses.

One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the inn's restaurant.

With a variety of home-cooked options on the menu, I decided to try the catfish, fries, and house salad.

While I was hoping for a broader selection of side dishes, the entree itself was delicious.

However, the standout was the apple butter and biscuits - they were simply scrumptious!

I appreciated that the restaurant was open until 7 pm as many other dining options in the area close earlier.

Artists Colony Inn & Restaurant also offers various services, such as hosting meetings, conferences, holiday parties, retreats, weddings, birthday parties, private parties, social events, and banquets.

I can see it being a great venue for a special event or a corporate retreat.

The Restaurant at Hard Truth

During my last visit to The Restaurant at Hard Truth, I had an incredible experience.

As soon as I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the ample parking available in their huge lot.

The ambiance of the place was cozy and inviting, with fireplaces and wood paneling that added to its rustic charm.

For lunch, I ordered the candied bacon whiskey burger, which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.

I decided to try the cinnamon vodka sour, and to my delight, it was refreshingly tasty without being overly sweet.

After our meal, we headed over to the tasting room to try some flights of whiskey and beer.

The service was prompt and helpful throughout our visit, making the experience even more enjoyable.

I must mention that one of the highlights of our visit was the smoked chicken wings, which were absolutely out of this world.

The food, bourbon, beer, and music at Hard Truth made for a fantastic experience overall.

Brown County Inn Resort & Conference Center

Brown County Inn Resort & Conference Center has a miniature golf set up, a shuffleboard area, small kids' playground, tetherball, and a big pool that's enclosed for the fall and winter seasons.

After exploring the grounds, we decided to have dinner at the Brown County Inn's Harvest Dining Room.

The menu boasted a fantastic variety of signature entrees and delicious dishes.

My husband opted for a cheeseburger, which came with fresh French fries and natural ketchup.

He thoroughly enjoyed his meal, especially the delightful fries.

Rafters Food & Spirits

Last weekend, my friends and I decided to treat ourselves to a delicious meal at Rafters Food & Spirits.

This place is located inside The Seasons Lodge, which just adds to the overall coziness of the dining experience.

We started our meal with some appetizers, and I must say their Chicken was absolutely amazing.

We also tried their tacos, flatbreads, and fish and chips which were equally delicious.

The menu had a great variety of options, from soups and salads to burgers and wraps, so there was something for everyone.

We also noticed that the place can get quite busy before a show at the nearby Brown County Music Center, so making a reservation is highly recommended on such nights.

After enjoying our meal, we decided to relax on their patio, which had a lovely view and a serene ambiance.

We spent hours there, chatting and enjoying each other's company, all while surrounded by the beautiful Brown County environment.
