Hoboken Cafe on Whitlock

As someone who's always on the lookout for a great lunch spot, I couldn't be happier that I discovered Hoboken Cafe on Whitlock.

The moment I stepped inside, I felt like I'd been transported to New Jersey for my lunch break.

The food at Hoboken Cafe is absolutely exquisite.

I ordered the meatball sandwich and was blown away by the flavors.

The bread was delightful, and the sauce was perfect – not overcooked and bitter like at many other places.

I also had the chance to sample their housemade mozzarella, which was a real treat.

To top it all off, I indulged in some fresh cannolis for dessert.

I can confidently say that everything I tried was amazing.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the excellent customer service.

My dad, who grew up in New York and New Jersey, loves coming to Hoboken Cafe for the atmosphere.

It's become a regular lunch spot for us, and I couldn't be more thrilled about it.

One evening, I decided to try out Silla del Toro, a Spanish tapas restaurant in the Marietta square area.

It was quite a delightful experience - from the warm and cozy ambiance to the attentive service.

I absolutely loved the concept of small plates, allowing me to taste a variety of dishes.

The octopus dish was my favorite, and the sangria sampler was quite refreshing, with three delicious options to choose from.

The restaurant also offers street parking right out front, making it convenient for a night out with friends or family.

One thing I absolutely love about Spring is that it provides an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for celebrating special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays.

IL Mee Restaurant

Whenever I have a craving for delicious Korean food, I always head to IL Mee Restaurant.

It's a humble, unassuming spot in my neighborhood that serves traditional Korean cuisine.

The ambience inside is cozy and welcoming, which is a pleasant surprise considering its location.

One thing that I absolutely love about IL Mee is their ever-changing selection of ban chan dishes.

They offer different dishes on different days, making each visit a unique and exciting experience.

The portions are generous, and the presentation is fantastic.

I've never been to Korea myself, but I have friends who have been there, and they always rave about the authenticity of the flavors here.

Another aspect of the restaurant that I find fascinating is their inclusion of "floor sitting" tables for larger parties.

It adds a touch of Korean tradition to the dining experience and is perfect for gatherings with friends and family.

A recent visit had me trying their spicy squid stir-fry, while my partner ordered the sundaeguk.

Both dishes were absolutely amazing, and I just couldn't help but finish every last bite.

Their website gives you an idea of what to expect, but I believe it's an experience you should definitely have in person.

The open kitchen and diner-style counter add a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch.

One thing I love about this place is the fairly priced menu.

As a breakfast lover, I feel like their biscuits and gravy are to die for, and their chicken and waffles always hit the spot.

If you're not a big fan of breakfast food, don't worry, their BLT with onion rings is quite delightful too.

This low-key and casual Cuban restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including delicious empanadas and stews.

What I love most about this place is that it brings the authentic taste of Cuban cuisine to our local community, which can be hard to find outside of Miami.

Mac's Raw Bar & Market

I have to say, Mac's Raw Bar & Market has become one of my favorite spots for seafood in town.

Every time I go there, I'm always impressed by the quality and presentation of their dishes.

The king crab, oysters, and scallops never fail to impress, and their salads are always a great way to start the meal.

One thing I particularly enjoy about this place is the open layout.

It's always a treat to see your meal being prepared right before your eyes.

While I've noticed that the service can sometimes be a bit slow, especially when it comes to getting the food from the kitchen to the table, the overall experience is definitely worth it.

As for freshness, I've learned that it's better to visit Mac's Raw Bar & Market on weekdays since the seafood is delivered on Thursdays and Fridays.

That being said, even when I've gone on Sundays, the seafood still tastes fantastic.

The prices might be a bit on the higher side, but I believe it's worth the splurge every now and then.

Another thing I love about Mac's is its location at Marietta town Square.

As a food lover who's always on the lookout for delicious, homemade meals, I recently discovered R C's Southern Cooking, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town.

Their Southern soul food and house specials really hit the spot, and the cozy, unpretentious atmosphere makes it a perfect place to enjoy some comfort food.

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and right at home.

What really sealed the deal for me, however, was their amazing food.

The cube steak was incredibly tender and seasoned to perfection, while their mac and yams were absolutely to die for.

In addition to the tasty food, R C's Southern Cooking also offers a variety of options that aren't fried, unlike many other country cooking restaurants.

This allows me to try different dishes each time I visit, like the baked chicken and collard greens which are simply fantastic.

I've even had their food catered for a party, and it was a huge hit with all of my guests.

Whenever I'm in Marietta and craving a delicious home-cooked meal, I know I can count on R C's Southern Cooking to satisfy my hunger.

The Marietta Local

I live close by The Marietta Local, and I've visited a few times for breakfast and lunch.

It's a rustic-chic counter serve that offers American breakfast and lunch fare such as omelets and meatloaf.

It can get pretty busy, especially during events like Chalktoberfest, but the food quality never disappoints.

One of my favorite dishes to order is the chicken and French toast.

The chicken is always moist and crispy, and the natural maple syrup adds the perfect touch of sweetness to the French toast.

I've also tried the Nashville Hot Chicken, and it's just the right amount of spicy.

The handcut fries that come on the side are a delicious addition.

The Marietta Local also has outdoor seating, which is perfect for enjoying a nice cool morning or people-watching during festivals.

Just remember that you order at the counter, and they'll bring the food to your table.

With free public parking nearby, it's never an issue to find a space for my car.

The food is consistently great – my personal favorite is the rib eye with asparagus and Mac and cheese.

Their fry plate appetizer is also a must-try – it's so good that my friends and I can't help but devour it almost immediately!

Their Yard Burger is highly recommended as well, especially with the phenomenal sauce and blue cheese.

Hamp & Harry's

One of my favorite spots around Marietta Square has to be Hamp & Harry's.

I finally decided to give it a try a few months back, and I've been in love with the place ever since.

The intimate setting with around 30-40 seats, diverse menu, and extensive drink selection make it perfect for date nights or just a casual evening out.

I've tried various dishes on their menu, like the chili mussels and the Australian waygu, and I must say, I've been consistently impressed.

Their dinner menu truly stands out, and the attention to detail in plating, freshness of ingredients, and masterful execution shows that there's some real talent in their kitchen.

The pasta dishes are my personal favorite, but everything from the popovers to the panna cotta is delicious.

One thing that sets Hamp & Harry's apart is their amazing craft cocktails.

It's hard to find true craft cocktails in this area, but this cozy bar nails it with their excellent spirits selection and creative offerings.

I especially love The Galaxy.

L on North

Ever since I discovered L on North, it has become one of my favorite spots to unwind after a long day.

The atmosphere is a perfect blend of warmth, modernity, and a touch of sports bar ambiance.

Whenever I walk in, I'm always drawn to the large bar situated at the front, on the left.

It has a nice inviting feel to it.

The back area, accessible through a ramp, offers plenty of seating options.

It's clean and well-lit, making it ideal for both casual gatherings and romantic date nights.

Although, on some occasions, they can be a bit overwhelmed during busy hours, which might require a gentle reminder to bring out the main entrees.

As for the food, I've always enjoyed the dishes I've tried, except for one time when I ordered their shrimp tacos special.

They were a bit bland and could use some extra seasoning.

However, that hasn't deterred me from returning.

The menu offers a nice variety of food choices, and I'm always eager to sample something new.

Recently, I attended a business dinner at L on North and discovered the charm of their upper floor.

I was thoroughly impressed with the ambiance and the service provided.

We had the opportunity to indulge in various appetizers, entrees, and desserts, all of which left a lasting impression on my taste buds.

I absolutely love going to Soul Food Train in my neighborhood.

I've been there a few times, and their customer service has been top-notch every single time.

My favorite dish to order is the baked chicken with greens, mac and cheese, and dressing.

Although I've heard some mixed reviews about the seasoning of the chicken and greens, I personally find them to be perfectly seasoned and cooked.

The mac and cheese is always a hit, and I've never had any issues with the dressing being sour or inedible.

One thing that I really appreciate is that I personally know the beautiful ladies who started this establishment, and their passion for cooking shines through in the food they serve.

Everything I've tried at Soul Food Train has been absolutely amazing, and the experience is made even better by the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Marietta Diner

One of the best things about living in this area is having the Marietta Diner at your disposal 24/7.

Whenever I'm craving some good old-fashioned western food, this is my go-to spot.

The portions are massive, and I often find myself unable to finish my entire meal because of the generous side dishes that accompany each entrée.

Plus, their complimentary spinach cakes are to die for!

Another great thing about the Marietta Diner is their extensive menu, which includes Greek specialties and amazing breakfast options.

I've had the pleasure of trying their steak and seafood combos, and they never disappoint.

I've also been meaning to try their cake selection, which looks absolutely divine.

What really sets this diner apart from others, however, is its convenience.

As someone who works odd hours, it's such a relief to know that there's always a dependable place to grab a delicious meal, regardless of the time.

In fact, they're some of the friendliest people I've met in the area.

It's Greek to Us

I recently decided to check out It's Greek to Us, a casual counter-serve restaurant offering gyros, kebabs, and other Greek classics, along with some American fare.

The food was wholesome, reasonably priced, and the restaurant was set up like a fast-food place, making it easy to dine in or take out.

The Greek island pictures on the wall added to the ambiance, and I was pleased to learn that the restaurant is owned by a Greek family, which adds to the authenticity of the food.

I tried the Eat More Platter, and it was more than enough for two people to share.

The gyro and falafel platters were also delicious, as well as the hummus appetizer.

I also appreciated that they offered a kids meal with good quality chicken tenders.

The dimly lit ambiance and old-school vibe instantly made me feel like I was in for a classy dining experience.

Taking her recommendations, we started our meal with their famous stone crab appetizer, and it didn't disappoint.

For the main course, we ordered a delicious steak accompanied by some mouthwatering sides.

I have to say, the mushrooms were definitely the highlight for me.

Our food took a little while to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait.

But let's not forget about the drinks!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their cocktails – they were definitely not watered down and had just the right amount of kick.

The Pineapple Dream cocktail was an absolute delight.
