As a resident, I can confidently say that my absolute favorite place to grab sushi is Oyaki Sushi.
The first thing that strikes you about this place is the stylish and contemporary atmosphere, which sets the tone for a great dining experience.
The menu offers classic Japanese fare, along with a few tasty Korean dishes.
Each time I dine here, the sushi is always amazing.
I've tried quite a few sushi joints in the area, but none of them compare to Oyaki's level of quality and taste.

Big B's Pizza & Eats
Let me tell you about one of my favorite pizza spots in town - Big B's Pizza & Eats!
I had been avoiding this place for a while because it's located in a party store, but little did I know, I was just missing out on some of the best pizza I've ever had.

Their pizza is honestly better than most other places in southwest Michigan, and I've only found two other joints that even come close to the quality they offer.
The fried mushrooms here are to die for – always fresh and never frozen.
Moreover, the breadsticks are your standard fare but exceptionally good.
What really sets Big B's apart, though, is that they actually season their pizza sauce, unlike some other places.
Lunch Box Dearborn Heights
I recently stumbled upon this fantastic little restaurant called Lunch Box Dearborn Heights, and I couldn't be happier with my find!
I'm a huge fan of their delicious sandwiches and amazing wraps made with quality ingredients that are sure to satisfy your taste buds.
One of the things that sets this place apart is their unique menu items, like the Blue Moon shake served with an original moon pie on top.

I recently visited Aljoom's BBQ for the first time, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience.

To my surprise, the Mac & Cheese and Cole Slaw were equally delicious - I couldn't get enough of it!
I'm typically not a coleslaw fan, but this one was something else, the flavors were just impeccable.
I knew I had to come back for more, and I did just that the very next day.
I ordered a large coleslaw and some more fish - it was just as amazing as the first time.

One of my favorite places to unwind after a long day is Randy's Bar & Grill in Dearborn Heights.
It's as if everyone at the bar is part of one big, happy family.
The atmosphere at Randy's is always lively and fun, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out with friends.
The menu offers a great selection of comfort food, and I find myself coming back at least once a week to satisfy my cravings.

Living near Cariera's Cucina Italiana has been such a treat for me and my family.

One of my go-to spots for a delicious and satisfying meal is Mexican Fiesta in Dearborn Heights.

As a local, I can confidently say that Kabob Inn Restaurant is one of the best spots for Halal Middle Eastern food in the Dearborn/Dearborn Heights area.
Their casual, modern setting makes it a perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family.
One of my absolute favorite dishes from Kabob Inn is their Tawook Extra sandwich, which is dipped in zaatar and olive oil, creating an explosion of amazing flavors.
Their falafel sandwich is also the best in town, and I can't get enough of their vibrant, crunchy salads.
If you're in the mood for something different, I highly recommend trying the Bomb Burger – it's out of this world!
Their to-go orders are also always clean and tidy and never disappoint.
I particularly love their shawarmas, as they don't skimp on the meat and always use a generous amount of filling.
District 12
I recently visited District 12 in Dearborn Heights with my spouse and was pleasantly surprised by our experience.
We decided to give it a try despite the place being empty when we arrived.
I ordered a burger, and my partner got the chicken Caesar wrap.
To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first, but I'm glad we ordered because the food turned out to be delicious!
In fact, my burger tasted even better once I got home.
A friend of mine also had a fantastic experience there, raving about their wraps, fries, and sandwiches.
Van Born Tavern & Grill
There's nothing I enjoy more than spending a Friday evening at Van Born Tavern & Grill.
This place has become a staple in my weekly routine, and for good reason!
They are usually quite busy, but I've never had trouble finding a table.
Not to mention, their drink selection is fantastic.
One thing that keeps me coming back is the fresh and delicious food.
Some of my favorites include the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, jumbo shrimp, white fish, salmon, pulled pork, ham and cheese, and the unforgettable French onion soup.
I make it a point to try something new every time I visit, and I am yet to be disappointed.
Another great thing about Van Born Tavern & Grill is their wide variety of beers, which always hits the spot.
