Baguette Vietnamese Sandwiches

I've been frequenting Baguette Vietnamese Sandwiches for quite some time now, and I have to say, it's easily one of my favorite sandwich shops in town.

The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely lunch. And the best part?

They have a solid variety of banh mi sandwiches to choose from, including vegan options and salad rolls.

You can find their location on Google Maps.

My usual order is the #6 chicken sandwich with teriyaki-marinated chicken, and I love adding jalapeños for a bit of a kick.

It's reasonably priced at $7.95, and I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my order.

The chicken is always moist and flavorful, and the cucumbers taste so fresh it's like they were just picked from the garden.

I've also tried their Beef Curry Baguette, which was perfect for eating on the go.

And I've heard great things about their beef lemongrass sandwich too.

But what really won me over at this place was the pork and quail egg dumpling.

It's so delicious that I would say it rivals the sandwiches!

Treebeerd's Taphouse

I have to admit, I stumbled upon Treebeerd's Taphouse by accident, and I'm so glad I did!

My brother and I were initially planning to visit 2 Towns Cider, but it was closed for an event.

That's when we discovered this amazing little gem.

Treebeerd's Taphouse has a fantastic selection of ciders and beers on tap.

I particularly enjoyed the blueberry cobbler muffin cider from Great Notion – it's a must-try!

Plus, you can't go wrong pairing your drinks with a delicious pizza from the local American Dream pizzeria.

The bar may be small, but it's got a cozy and chill atmosphere.

With its charming Lord of the Rings theme, it's the perfect place for a laid-back date night or a fun evening with friends.

They even have a shelf full of games you can play with your group or mingle with fellow patrons.

One of my favorite memories at Treebeerd's Taphouse was attending a painting class.

The class itself was fantastic, and it was made even better by the excellent drinks and friendly company.

I even got a root beer in a growler to take home!

4 Spirits Distillery

One of my favorite places to unwind after a long week is the 4 Spirits Distillery.

Located just off Hwy 99, it offers a great view, fantastic food, and a welcoming atmosphere.

I appreciate the generous portions and reasonable prices and the fact that they partner with local farmers and producers for their ingredients.

Their cocktails are not only expertly crafted but also creative, always giving me something new to try.

The indoor and outdoor seating options, along with lawn games and bar seating, make it a great spot for hanging out with friends and family.

I've even enjoyed their heated outdoor seating on colder days, which is perfect for staying warm and cozy while still enjoying the fresh air.

One of my favorite dishes is their Chicken & Waffles, which are covered in a spiced rum glaze and hot sauce.

Pairing it with a bourbon cocktail made it an unforgettable meal.

What's even better is that 4 Spirits Distillery donates a portion of their sales from their bourbon whiskey to local programs that help veterans and their families with reintegration support.

Tian Fu Noodle / DIY Hotpot

I must say, Tian Fu Noodle / DIY Hotpot is one of those places that you just have to try for yourself.

I went there a few weeks ago with some friends, and we opted for the pre-crafted hot pots.

I chose the chef's favorite, while my friends went for the seafood lovers.

The food was excellent, and I especially loved the spicy, savory, and numbing flavors of the Tian Fu Pot.

The space itself is quite small, so we were lucky to find a table open for dine-in.

One thing I want to emphasize is that this isn't your traditional hot pot experience, where you cook the ingredients at your table.

Instead, you choose the items, and they make a soup for you.

del Alma Restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of dining at del Alma Restaurant, and it was truly a memorable experience.

With its upscale riverfront location and dishes inspired by Central & South American cuisines, I was excited to try something new and unique.

I started my meal with the Scallops, which were cooked to perfection and full of flavor.

My dining companion opted for the Yellow Fin Tuna, and I couldn't help but have a taste - it was equally amazing.

As a fan of desserts, I couldn't resist trying their key lime pie, which had a unique and delicious twist.

What stood out to me the most at del Alma was the excellent ingredients and thoughtfulness that went into preparing each dish.

Everything was fresh, and the sauces were never overpowering.

This allowed for the true flavors of the dishes to shine.

The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing evening with friends, as the noise level was low, allowing for easy conversation.

As a huge fan of French pastries, this charming nook has become my go-to spot whenever I crave a delicious treat.

Although their operating hours are quite limited, I find that the quality of their pastries is worth the effort to plan my visits accordingly.

One of the highlights of Le Patissier is their fruit tart.

I must say, it's one of the best I've ever had – the flavors and textures are simply perfect.

And don't even get me started on their croissants and puff bread! If you're not careful, you might end up ordering too much, as everything looks so tempting. ]

Miguel's Mexican Cuisine

Just the other day, I decided to treat myself to some delicious Mexican food for lunch, and I stumbled upon Miguel's Mexican Cuisine.

It's a food truck, not a fancy restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the variety of menu options available.

I chose to try their fish tacos, and they were absolutely amazing!

The portion sizes were generous, and the green sauce, in particular, was incredibly tasty.

As a bonus, they even included some extra sour cream on my enchiladas, which was a nice touch.

One thing to note is that the service might not be extremely quick, probably because everything is made fresh and there's only one guy running the show.

But it's totally worth the wait!

My personal favorite, though, has to be their birria tacos with consommé.

The unique atmosphere with science fiction books available to read while enjoying a Belgian-style beer is simply irresistible.

What I appreciate the most is the authenticity of the place.

They also offer non-alcoholic CBD drinks for those who prefer to skip alcohol.

The food never disappoints either.

From the brussels sprouts and croquettes to the vegetable gratin and Belgian waffle for dessert, everything is always tasty and well-made.

Whenever I want to unwind after a long day, Kingfish Lounge is my go-to spot in Corvallis.

Their craft cocktails are simply the best in town, and the atmosphere is so relaxing.

One thing I really enjoy about this lounge is the 5-star pizza they serve, which is a must-have whenever I'm there.

It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day or hang out with friends on a sunny afternoon.

The beer selection is fantastic, with a wide variety of options to suit any taste.

I've yet to find a beer I didn't enjoy.

Most of the time, I prefer to sit outside on their beautiful patio.

The view overlooking grassy fields and rolling hills is absolutely stunning, and they have plenty of seating with heaters to keep you warm during the colder months.

As for the food, I've found it to be decent and satisfying.

What really stands out to me at Cheesy Stuffed Burgers is the friendly service.

I have to say, I absolutely love La Rockita 9th & Circle!

The food they serve is amazing and as authentic as it gets.

Every time I eat there, it reminds me of the trips I've taken with friends to Mexico.

Their portions are quite generous, so even as a big guy myself, I get more than enough to eat.

Just be careful when you order because it's easy to overdo it with all the delicious choices on their menu.

One of my all-time favorites is their giant burrito - it's fast, friendly, and extremely delicious!

My family and I make the effort to visit La Rockita in Corvallis at least 2-3 times a month.

We just can't get enough of their top-notch burritos!

Oh, and if you're a fan of hot foods, don't forget to try their green sauce - it's the bomb!

I finally decided to give it a try, even though I'm not generally a fan of Mexican food.

To my surprise, I found that the food there was way better than any other Mexican food I've tried before.

I decided to give their burrito a try, and I must say, it was delicious.

It made me wonder why I hadn’t liked burritos before.

The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed evening, with its cool, modern space and vintage accents.

The sous vide pork chop is tender and well-seared, and the rotating menu based on local produce ensures that I'll never run out of new options to try.

The service is friendly, but be prepared for a bit of a wait, as it can take up to 2 hours to finish your meal.

This makes it an ideal spot for long conversations with friends or family.

While the prices might be a bit higher than other local restaurants, the quality and uniqueness of the dishes definitely make it worth the splurge.
