The Ventura Pier is something that tourists crowd every day.
It was constructed in 1872, back when Ventura was quite important industrially.

Today, it stands proudly, having witnessed Ventura’s success.

The pier ranks as one of the top 10 longest Californian piers and is entirely made of wood.
It was originally even higher, but it has been renovated a lot of times due to wearing down.
These renovations led to its now shorter height of 1700 feet.
