Robert Graham’s sculpture “Torso” was unveiled at the Walk of Style’s inaugural ceremony, attended by the first honoree, Giorgio Armani.

Will Rogers Memorial Park, built in 1912 and opened in 1915, was the first public park in the City of Beverly Hills.

It was formerly known as Sunset Park but only until 1952, when it was changed to Will Rogers Memorial Park as a tribute to Will Rogers, the first Honorable Mayor of Beverly Hills who served from 1926 to 1928.
