Located on Main Street, Oxford Plains Speedway is a 3/8-mile-long asphalt racetrack (originally a half-mile track) famous for its broad and sweeping turns.

It is the home of the HP Hood Oxford 250, recognized as one of America’s richest one-day short-track races.

Built in 1950, Oxford Plains Speedway has the biggest seating capacity of any sporting arena in Maine, with 14,000 seats.
