They believed that the falls is the place where the first woman and man were created by the moon and where their prayers were carried up to God.

In 1957, the Northwest Railway Museum, operating in heritage railroad called the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad, was made the Puget Sound Railway Historical Association.
The museum has a goal to develop and operate an exemplary railway museum that teaches the public the role of railroads in our lives.
Open on Saturdays and Sundays, you have to purchase a ticket in advance, then you can already have a 2-hour of train ride fun with a 30-minute stop at the Railway Histroy Campus.

The Northwest Railway Museum Train Shed Exhibit Hall is not located in the same area as the Northwest Railway Museum but just a mile away.
Located in Stone Quarry Road, the Train Shed Exhibit Hall is a large structure where house locomotives, passenger cars, and more are placed.
The exhibit halls serve as a place of protection against rain, rapid change of humidity and temperate, and light which negatively affects the museum’s collection of railway artifacts.
You can visit the Train Shed Exhibit Hall on Thursdays through Sundays to see the different railway artifacts.
Scheduled train tours is also available in the Northwest Railway Train Shed Exhibit Hall.

The Rattlesnake Mountain is a famous hiking spot in Snoqualmie.
With teamwork among various groups in the outdoor community, a trailhead was made at Snoqualmie Point going to the west part of the Rattlesnake Mountain.
During the hike, you’ll be greeted with a pleasant view.
It was in June 2007 that the trail was made official after series of hikers hike the mountain using mixed trails for years.

The Rattlesnake Mountain came from the Native American name “Laliik” meaning land above the water.
The mountain isa 3,531 feet above sea level so no doubt, you’d definitely see a spectacular view of nature.
The hike at the mountain would take about 6 and a half hours to complete, a relatively challenging route.
Open year-round, you can visit the Rattlesnake Mountain anytime.

A historical museum, the Snoqualmie Valley Museum has a mission to tell the story of the people of Snoqualmie, Preston, Fall City, North Bend, and Cedar Falls through the years.
Ada Synder Hill initiated the creation of the museum when she came to Snoqualmie.
She then started acquiring collection of historical items that made up the first exhibit in 1939.
The museum is open year-round with different schedules on summers and winters.
On summers, the museum is open from Saturdays through Tuesdays from 1PM to 5PM while on winters, the museum is open from Mondays through Tuesdays, also from 1PM to 5PM.

The Snoqualmie City has a total of 38 parks but the Director of the city’s Parks and Public Works, Daniel J. Marcinko wanted to make Fisher Creek Park stand out a little with its new amenities so here goes.

Gaining 3,100 feet, Mountain Si is a popular trail among hikers with about 100,000 hikers hiking yearly.
In 1977, the Mount Si was established as a state conservation area.

A bit odd for a trail’s name, the Mailbox Peak was named that way because of the famous mailbox placed at the top of Mailbox Peak.
Hence the name Mailbox Peak.

The mailbox on top made an amazing impression of tourists and has become the goal of the hikers of the mountain.
Relatively steep, the Mailbox is also considered a challenging route which takes about 6 and a half hours to finish.
