It was another typical Saturday night when we decided to check out the Farmington Fright Fest.

We ventured into the first two haunted houses, The Cabin and The Crematorium, with minimal wait.

As the night wore on, the place started buzzing with excitement.

The line for Mr. Marbles Maze grew longer, but it was nothing a cup of hot chocolate and cider couldn't fix.

However, the amusement wasn't just limited to the haunted houses — they had characters roaming around, adding to the eerie atmosphere.

The gravedigger, gypsy girl, and an odd Christmas elf named Eggnog were especially memorable.

Mr. Marbles, the crazy clown with his chainsaw, was the show's star, terrorizing all in his path.

The haunted houses were surprisingly spacious, and each one was meticulously decorated.

For instance, the actors knew just when to make us scream and when to leave us in fits of laughter.

We're now considering heading back for their black-out night.

I’m usually not one to get scared, but the energy at the fest was infectious.

My family had a blast at the professionally organized event.
