See a Stunning Sunset Show at The Arch

When you live in a paradise like Cabo San Lucas, every morning feels like a new adventure.

One sight that never ceases to amaze me is the stunning outcrop known as The Arch.

This majestic rock formation, carved by nature's artistic hand, stands proudly in the ocean, challenging the waves with its arch-like structure.

Every time I see it, I am reminded of the beauty and power of Mother Nature.

The Arch is not just awe-inspiring during the day, but it also puts on a magical show at sunset.

I often find myself on a small glass-floor boat, haggling over the ticket price, just to be part of this mesmerizing experience.

The setting sun paints the sky with hues of orange, pink, and purple, creating the perfect backdrop for The Arch.

But what adds to the charm of The Arch is the vibrant life that surrounds it.

The azure-blue waters around the formation are teeming with colorful fish that rush towards your boat in anticipation of being fed.

You can even kayak your way towards The Arch, the calm waters making it a memorable experience.

Don't forget to check out the 'Lovers' Beach and Divorce Beach' that lie in its vicinity.

These beaches, separating the Sea of Cortez from the Pacific Ocean, have their own unique charm and stories which make them a must-visit.

See Cabo in a Different Perspective with Cabo Sky Tours

I've lived in Cabo for years, and let me tell you, there's nothing quite like soaring over the sparkling ocean waters with Cabo Sky Tours.

I've been on this thrilling tour many times, and every time it feels like a new adventure.

If you're ever in town, this is an experience you don't want to miss!

The tours are always amazing.

Personally, I love the 15-minute tour.

It's short, sweet, and packed with breathtaking panoramic views of Cabo.

And trust me when I say, the photo package is an absolute must.

Cabo Sky Tours also has a GoPro that captures stunning angles of your flight and the picturesque surroundings.

But if you're planning your tour during the whale season, I'd suggest opting for a longer flight.

The sight of these magnificent creatures from above is truly spectacular.

It's something that I, even as a long-time local, never get tired of seeing.

Entrust Your Transfer Needs to Transportation For Less

I must say, there's nothing like a reliable ride, and that's exactly what I've found with Transportation For Less.

Over the years, I've come to count on their impeccable service.

The drivers are always punctual, often arriving a few minutes ahead of schedule to pick me up, and the quality of the vehicles is top-notch.

They keep their cars in an absolutely pristine condition, which is a lovely touch that I appreciate.

The drivers are consistently friendly and courteous, always making the journey pleasant.

I remember a particular ride with a driver named Armando; he had such a great sense of humor that he had me chuckling all the way to the airport.

What sets Transportation for Less apart is not just their professionalism but also their knowledge of the area.

I've found that they always know the best routes to take, whether I'm heading to a house rental or to the airport.

They're even great at handling larger groups.

I recall booking them for a group of eight teenagers who needed a ride to Cerritos Beach and back to the airport.

They handled everything so smoothly that it put my worries at ease.

Go Swimming at Lovers Beach

Living in close proximity to such a spectacular place like Lovers Beach is truly a blessing.

It's the kind of place you'd see on postcards or in a travel magazine, not something you'd expect in your own backyard.

Nestled in a remote location, this beach is unique with its golden sands and dramatic limestone rock formations.

It's a sight to behold, and it's only accessible by boat - that's what makes it even more special.

I often visit the local marina, just a short distance from Cabo San Lucas, to find a boat that can take me to Lovers Beach.

You can usually find one for around 200 pesos per person. They'll drop you off and pick you up at the time of your choosing.

For those planning to visit, do note that there are no restrooms or services available on the beach.

A swim at Lovers Beach is an experience in itself.

The bay side is calm and perfect for strong swimmers, while the open side offers a more thrilling experience with huge waves and strong currents.

The serenity is just unbeatable, especially if you choose to swim in the evening.

The setting sun, hidden behind the mountains, paints a breathtaking spectacle.

It's the perfect spot to take a break from the world and just revel in the natural beauty around you.

Have a Romantic Dinner at Serrano Wine & Grill

You haven't truly enjoyed the culinary delights of Cabo until you've dined at Serrano Wine & Grill.

This place, my friends, is an absolute gem, a spot where you can escape the mundanity of everyday life and immerse yourself in a delightful feast.

The first thing you need to know about Serrano is that they truly understand the art of cooking a steak - 'medium-rare' is not just a term here, it's a promise.

Their skillful execution of the perfect medium-rare steak is something that's hard to come by even in the most frequented steakhouses.

But Serrano Wine & Grill is not just about the food - the staff here take hospitality to an all-new level.

This isn't just a restaurant; it's an intimate dining experience. The food is simply divine.

I still remember the exquisite taste of the shrimp I had the last time we visited.

My partner, on the other hand, can't stop raving about the ribeye.

A dinner for two, complete with drinks, usually sets us back less than $100.

Plus, the added convenience of street parking right in front of the restaurant is a bonus.

And let me tell you about their Tomahawk.

It's a must-try!

I know some might find it a bit more rare than they're used to, but trust me, it's a gustatory delight worth experiencing.

Hike with Your the Dogs at Mt. Solmar

Every morning, I get up early around 8 am and head over to the dog training camp at Mt. Solmar.

The ring in my ears of the dogs barking is my cue to know I'm in the right place.

No need for reservations here – just show up, and you'll be greeted by Enrique, a friendly and knowledgeable guide passionate about sharing his knowledge of the land.

The hike isn't too strenuous- simple and easy actually, yet it's not the distance that gets you but the climbing.

It's a little bit of rock climbing, a bit of strenuous effort, but trust me, it's worth it.

Don't worry about keeping up with the group, take your time, and if you need a break, feel free to rest.

The trek is accompanied by the dogs from the training camp, and believe me, they're the most friendly hiking companions you could ask for.

These adorable furry friends add joy to the journey, making the hike even more enjoyable.

But the real treat of the hike is the majestic view from the top.

Once you reach the summit of Mt. Solmar, you are rewarded with an awe-inspiring panorama that takes your breath away.

Although the hike itself is free, any tip is appreciated as Enrique offers this wonderful experience in his own spare time.

Each trip includes a safety briefing and some intriguing stories about Mt. Solmar's history.

You can choose to listen or enjoy the natural serenity – the choice is yours.

Discover the Artistic Gems at Galería Sergio Bustamante

Strolling through the artistic hub of my city, I stumbled upon a treasure chest of creativity - Galería Sergio Bustamante.

I was immediately drawn in by the unique artworks and structures that adorned the gallery.

Each piece seemed to tell a story, a testament to the genius of Bustamante.

I've been a fan of Bustamante's collection for years now.

His gallery in Puerto Vallarta is a well-known favorite among the locals, and his Cabo gallery was a delightful revelation during one of my weekend getaways.

One look at his work and you can't help but appreciate his artistic prowess and the love he pours into each piece.

But what truly sets Galería Sergio Bustamante apart is not just the art, but also the exquisite jewelry collection.

Imagine finding a pair of earrings or a cross necklace that not only accessorizes your outfit but also carries a piece of artistry with it.

The staff at the gallery are incredibly helpful, assisting you in selecting the perfect piece that resonates with your style and personality.

Play Golf at Quivira Los Cabos

Every time I step onto the emerald greens of Quivira Los Cabos, I can't help but marvel at its grandeur.

It's this magnificent hillside resort development that looms above a long, sandy beach, and it's a sight that never gets old.

As I weave my way through the 18-hole golf course, designed by none other than golf legend Jack Nicklaus, the panoramic ocean views keep me company.

What makes Quivira unique is that no two holes are the same, making every game a new challenge.

Navigating this vast playground can be a bit tricky, I won't lie.

I've lost my way a couple of times.

But that's the fun of it, isn't it? And besides, there's a GPS touchscreen on the golf cart, making it all the easier not to stray too far.

The quality cuts of grass are top-notch, and it adds a great texture to the game.

Quivira Los Cabos really is a golfer's paradise.

As if that wasn't enough, they also have top-of-the-line club rentals and they'll even give you a free box of Taylor-made balls.

And let's not forget about the food.

After a long day on the course, there's nothing like kicking back at the clubhouse with some great music and delicious food.

It's part of what makes Quivira a fantastic destination.

Pamper Yourself Sandos Finisterra

Living in the neighborhood, the Sandos Finisterra has always been an attraction.

But with time, it has become a lot more than just a pretty sight.

It has transformed into a spot where my loved ones and I create unforgettable memories.

The moment you step foot into the resort, the welcoming vibes of the staff envelop you.

The dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary.

At Turtuga and Emmanuel's, my family and I have been served by some of the most dedicated and warm-hearted people.

But the fun does not limit itself to great meals.

The family-friendly games, like bingo, are always a hit amongst guests of all ages.

The Café is another must-visit.

Have a Moment of Reflection at Playa del Divorcio

Sunny day at Playa del Divorcio
HTurner / Shutterstock.com

There's a place where I go to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a place where time seems to stand still, and the world feels as if it's paused - it's the hidden gem of Playa del Divorcio.

This enchanting, pristine stretch of sand, backed by towering rocky cliffs, is my go-to spot for some quality alone time.

Reaching this secluded spot is an adventure in itself.

You either clamber over rocks for quite a distance or take a boat, maybe a kayak, to Lovers Beach and then a short walk over.

The trek, though sometimes testing, is always worth it, especially for the spectacular views that await.

I have lost countless hours sitting on the sands, gazing at the horizon, waiting for the sunset to paint the skies with hues of gold and scarlet.

Playa del Divorcio is also known as the flip side of Lovers Beach, on the pacific side.

The waves here are bigger and rougher, but it’s this wild beauty that makes it so special.

Swimming might be a tad bit risky, but it's a great spot to sip a chilled cerveza and bask in the symphony of the crashing waves.

Indulge in Mexican Fare at Cascadas Beach Grill

Let me tell you, living in paradise has its perks.

And one of those perks is being able to dine at the Cascadas Beach Grill whenever the craving strikes.

This woodsy all-day grill, with its thatched roof and stunning views of the sea, serves up delicious local dishes, seafood, and steaks that are second to none.

The stuffed shrimp avocado is an absolute must - the blend of flavors will transport you straight to food heaven.

Pair it with a hot plate of chicken enchiladas, oozing with melted cheese, and you're set for a culinary joyride.

Trust me, it's hard to resist the temptation of ordering seconds, especially when the dishes are as visually appealing as they are delectable.

But wait, there's more.

There's a certain magic to dining beachfront, the view of the azure water blending seamlessly with the sky.

Add to that the silhouette of the Arch in the distance, and you're in for a treat for the senses.

Not to mention, the mud pie that is the ultimate dessert indulgence to wrap up your meal.

A casual stroll down the beach might just lead you to this restaurant, adding a dash of spontaneity to your day.

And if you're in the mood for sushi, be sure to check out their sashimi.

The Margaritas are a hit too, especially when shared with friends in the cozy environment.

Safe, with free parking, and a service that makes you feel right at home - Cascadas Beach Grill is more than just a restaurant, it's a delightful slice of paradise, right in our backyard.

Hop on a Water Taxi towards Pelican Rock

Marcos Botelho Jr / Shutterstock.com

There's a particular thrill that comes with diving into the clear blue waters from the top of Pelican Rock.

The journey starts with a sweet deal on a water taxi, taking you right to the rock.

It's such a great experience - you can negotiate the price down to $8 per person, and that includes the boat ride to and from the Pelica Rock, plus they'll hang around and let you leap from the top a few times.

That's a bargain compared to the original $30 they ask for.

One word of caution though, sometimes the waves can get a bit high and they won't let you go to the beach, so it's always a good idea to call in advance.

Once you've had your fill of diving, the taxi can take you to this beautiful, secluded spot that's perfect for snorkeling.

It's much less crowded than the popular Lovers/Divorces Beaches, making it the perfect spot to unwind.

Don't forget to bring a cooler stuffed with cervezas and sunblock - nothing beats sipping a cold beer under the sun after a good swim.

The ride to and from the beach is quick and cheap, just a 5-minute hop on the water taxi.

Once you're there, you'll be greeted by soft sand, crystal blue waters, and some truly breathtaking views.

Seriously, pictures don't do it justice. You've got to see it for yourself.

Try Adrenaline-Pumping Activities at Wild Canyon Adventures

There's nothing like the thrill of soaring through the air on a zipline with the panoramic view of the vast canyon beneath you.

The adventure park that I'm talking about is Wild Canyon Adventures.

It has been my go-to place for adrenaline rushes and peaceful sanctuary visits for years.

This park is a must-visit for everyone, not just adrenaline junkies.

The glass-floored gondola for bungee jumps is always a thrill, even for someone like me who has been here countless times.

The ATV rides are also a favorite of mine, where you can ride around the park and experience the beauty of the area up close and personal.

But Wild Canyon is not just about adrenaline-pumping activities.

The animal sanctuary is a peaceful retreat, home to rescued alligators, guinea pigs, turtles, parrots, and macaws.

There are also adorable bunnies that you can feed and interact with.

I always make sure to pay these animals a visit whenever I’m in the park.

In addition to all this, Wild Canyon Adventures also has a mini water park, horseback riding, and an off-roading ATV adventure.

After a day full of activities, I often wind down at the small restaurant in the park.

Their food is a delicious end to a day full of adventure.

Observe the Waves at Pedregal Playa

Every day, I find myself drawn to the serene seclusion of Pedregal Playa.

It's like a hidden gem nestled in the back of our neighborhood, accessible through a short path that adds a touch of adventure to the journey.

Even though it's just a few minutes from my home, it often feels worlds apart with its gentle isolation.

Pedregal Playa is typically empty, making it a haven of tranquility.

The echo of the waves crashing against the shore is a soothing soundtrack that accompanies me during my strolls along the lengthy stretch of this peaceful beach.

However, don't let the allure of those dramatic waves tempt you into taking a dip.

They may add a captivating beauty to the landscape, but they are quite dangerous due to the risk of riptides.

Despite the no-swimming rule, there's no shortage of activities to indulge in.

Birdwatching is one of my favorite pastimes, and this beach offers a fabulous playground for the diverse bird species that call this place home.

The beach also makes for a great backdrop for photography, with the mesmerizing sunsets painting a spectacular canvas.

The enchanting allure of Pedregal Playa is hard to resist.

It's a place that offers me solace and a sense of peace that's often hard to come by in our bustling everyday lives.

Have Moment of Reflection at Parroquia San Lucas

As I wake up to the warm and sunny morning in San Lucas, the first thing that strikes my mind is attending the 10:30 Mass at the neighborhood's lovely Parroquia San Lucas.

This quaint, beautiful Catholic church, nestled just a few blocks off the bustling main strip, has been my spiritual haven for years.

The ringing bells infuse a sense of calm and tranquility that soothes my soul, preparing me for the day ahead.

The service at the church, though mostly in Spanish, includes a reading and a brief sermon in English, which has always felt very inclusive and welcoming.

During the Advent period, Parroquia San Lucas comes alive with an extra dash of sparkle, the simple and elegant decorations further enhancing the church's beauty.

Just a short walk away from the harbor, and even closer to Cabo Wabo, this church has always been conveniently located, making it a perfect spot for a peaceful Sunday morning.

The 12:00 Mass is bilingual, adding to the inclusive nature of the church, and it's always a pleasant experience to see people from different backgrounds coming together in prayer.

The parishioners of Parroquia San Lucas are exceptionally welcoming.

Every time I attend the mass, I feel a sense of community and bonding.

The warmth and the love of the people here is infectious; it truly feels like a big family.

This wonderful Roman Catholic service fills my heart with peace and sets a positive tone for the rest of my week.

Just imagine this - waking up to the warm sun rays streaming through the window, casting a vibrant glow on the marina views outside.

This is not just another day in Cabo, but a truly luxurious experience I cherish living here, thanks to the Breathless Cabo San Lucas Resort and Spa.

Staying here has its perks.

I've had access to the marina, the beach, and my favorite, the resort's spa.

After a dip in the pool, I often find myself unwinding at the spa - where the massages are truly heavenly.

And then, there's the food. With multiple eateries serving delightful cuisines, I get to dine like a king every day.

My room, oh what a sight! It’s comfortable and offers an amazing view of the marina.

Being at Breathless Cabo San Lucas Resort and Spa has been a constant celebration.

The positive energy all around, the smiling faces of the staff treating us like royalty, the music, and the safe surroundings add to the charm.

Enjoy Beer with a Views at Baja Brewing

I spend my evenings at Baja Brewing, perched atop the heart of Cabo, gazing at the mesmerizing view.

It's not just a rooftop bar; it's a window to the soul of the city.

The sunset here is a sight to behold, a magical fusion of colors that make your heart flutter.

The live music, performed by talented local artists, adds a vibrant rhythm to the tranquil ambiance, creating a blend of serenity and excitement.

On occasion, they also have live entertainment which is always interesting, a treat for the eyes and ears alike.

The founders hail from Colorado, a fact that shines through in the quality of the freshly brewed beer that Baja Brewing is famed for.

Each sip is a revelation, with the flavors dancing on your tongue, making it a top-notch experience altogether.

Have a Family Day Out at Playa Pública Cabo San Lucas

The first time I set foot on the warm, soft sands of Playa Pública Cabo San Lucas, I knew I discovered a hidden gem.

Its charm lies in its tranquility, away from the bustling tourist spots. The rush of the strong current against my feet is always a thrilling experience.

The beach is just a leisurely 10-minute stroll from the marina. From there, it's a simple matter of following the road to the left.

The walk is always worth it, especially with the anticipation of the warm water welcoming me upon arrival.

Playa Pública Cabo San Lucas is never crowded, making it the perfect spot for some much-needed peace and quiet.

The thatched umbrellas scattered along the beach are free to use, although they're available on a first come first serve basis.

For those who prefer a bit more comfort, large and small umbrellas are available for rent.

The real highlight is to the right of the beach.

A short walk and climb over the rocks lead to even more secluded areas, where the only companions are the sun, waves, and sand.

Book a Tee Time at Cabo San Lucas Country Club

Trust me when I say, the Cabo San Lucas Country Club is more than just a golf course.

Sure, it's a place where you can work on your swing, but it's also a place for family and friends to gather and enjoy the beautiful Cabo atmosphere.

The other day, I decided to take a break from the usual and spend my evening at the Country Club.

What stood out to me the most was the number of families enjoying their time together.

It reminded me of why I love this place so much.

Kids were running around, adults were laughing, and the ambiance was just perfect.

For a moment, I wished there was a band playing to make the night even more magical but then again, the sound of sheer enjoyment was music to my ears.

We decided to order pizzas and beers, it's not the finest cuisine but it filled the void and added to the fun of the night.

The Mexican pizza was the show stopper of the meal.

But don't let this casual fun make you think this place is not serious about golf. They are.

The Cabo San Lucas Country Club is also a gateway to the most beautiful seaside views.

The crystal clear water, the tropical fish, the opportunity to swim with dolphins, and the sight of whales during April, it's a paradise on earth.

The five-star hotels lining the beaches add to the charm of the place.

And the local cuisine? Don't even get me started on that. It's simply outstanding.

Feast Your Eyes to the Views at Medano Beach

Let me tell you about my frequent experiences at the Medano Beach.

It's been a part of my life since I moved to Cabo San Lucas.

I often find myself there, relishing in the beautiful beach views, especially after a long week.

The location cannot be beat. Just a short walk, and you're on the sandy shores of Medano Beach.

You can feast your eyes on the stunning sight of the azure ocean, listen to the soothing sounds of the waves, and forget all your worries.

It feels like escaping to a beach paradise without leaving the city.

Whenever I have guests over, I always take them there. It's an experience worth sharing.

One of the best things about this parking lot is that it's always safe and well-maintained.

I've parked there many times, never had any issues, even when I left my car there overnight. The rates are very reasonable too.

Also, it's a perfect spot to park your RV and enjoy the beach views right from your window - like having beachfront property for a night!

And oh, the food! There are plenty of restaurants nearby, serving delicious local and international cuisines.

I remember relishing a grilled fish taco at a nearby eatery after a lovely evening at the beach. It's the perfect ending to a perfect day.

Take a Peek into Cabo's Past at the Museum of Natural History

Just a stone's throw away from the bustling Marina and the glittering beaches of Cabo San Lucas, nestled in the heart of the city, you'll find a hidden gem - the Museum of Natural History.

As someone who has called Cabo home for many years, this small museum has always been a treasured oasis where I can escape from the midday sun and immerse myself in the intriguing geological and anthropological history of Baja California Sur.

Every visit is a journey back in time.

The exhibits narrate the tale of Cabo's geological formation, its rich biodiversity, and the indigenous tribes that called this region home.

Even though the majority of the information is in Spanish, non-Spanish speakers need not worry as Museum of Natural History provides enough translations to ensure you won't miss out on the fascinating facts.

One of my favorite parts of the museum is the archaeological room.

It's filled with artifacts and exhibits that give a glimpse into the ancient history of this region.

I always wish I had more time to linger and absorb the stories of our ancestors.

However, I do wish they would translate the last room into English too, to make it more accessible to all visitors.

Outside, the museum is surrounded by a peaceful plaza - a perfect spot to relax and reflect after soaking up all the history.

And for those who drive, there's street parking available nearby.

However, a word of caution, the museum may not be entirely accessible for people with mobility issues.

Dance the Night Away at La Vaquita

Exterior of La Vaquita
Lester Balajadia / Shutterstock.com

Oh, what a night!

Just a usual Friday evening, I thought, as I strolled through the vibrant streets of Cabo.

Then, I found myself dancing the night away at La Vaquita.

This place, I tell you, brings clubbing to a whole new level.

They were blasting the best reggaeton that even I, a local, couldn't resist.

The whole crowd was lost in the music, singing along, moving to the beat.

The atmosphere was straight up lit, thanks to the lights flashing and the fog pouring from Co2 tanks they kept cracking open.

Honestly, how could anyone resist another round and a few more dances at La Vaquita?

My friends and I decided to order bottle service and I must admit, the service was impeccable.

The drinks were delicious, the music set the mood and I can't remember when was the last time we all had so much fun.

The vibe at La Vaquita is a mix of dance, EDM with a sprinkle of hip hop, rap and pop.

They do spin some salsa and merengue to add a Latino touch to the night.

Final Thoughts

In my experience, there's never a dull moment in Cabo San Lucas.

Whether you're a consummate adventurer looking to soar through the skies with Cabo Sky Tours, a nature lover eager to explore the majesty of Mt. Solmar, or a history buff ready to dive into the Museum of Natural History, there's something here for everyone

Every day in Cabo San Lucas is a new adventure, and I am grateful to call this place home.
