Over the years, I've had the pleasure of exploring a wide variety of restaurants in the area, and I must say, there's a little bit of something for everyone here.

I recently decided to check out Tono Pizzeria + Cheesesteaks here in Woodbury and was pleasantly surprised by the experience.

The building itself was clean and cozy and had the ambiance of a classic pizza shop.

Although the place is known for its cheesesteaks, I opted for a pizza this time.

The crust was absolutely delicious, and the overall quality of the pizza was impressive.

It was nice and thin, with just the right amount of cheese – not too overpowering.

I couldn't help but overhear fellow diners raving about the incredible sandwiches, so I know I'll be returning soon to try one of those out as well.

During my visit, I also noticed that they offer a variety of free sauces, which I've heard are amazing.

I, on the other hand, am a fan of their hot and spicy meal.

Before leaving, I always make sure to grab a couple of their gigantic cinnamon rolls for the road.

They're so big that they make my mint tin look tiny in comparison!

Hazelwood Food & Drink - Woodbury

I had a thrilling experience dining at Hazelwood Food & Drink.

The menu at Hazelwood Food & Drink offers a variety of American dishes, and I was not disappointed by my choices.

The meatloaf was the standout dish, with its juicy texture, flavorful sauce, and crispy onion bits on top.

The sandwiches were delicious, and the banana cream pie was also a hit.

I can't wait to return for their brunch offerings!

The moment I step into Tamarack Tap Room, I'm greeted by a clean and well-maintained environment, from the parking lot to the entryway.

The patio is also a great spot to relax on warmer days, surrounded by beautiful flowers, lights, and calming fountains that help drown out any nearby traffic noise.

The drink menu at Tamarack Tap Room is quite extensive, and I can't help but recommend the Bourbon Amaretto Sour – it's a must-try!

Their food menu is also quite impressive, with locally-sourced burgers and other tasty dishes to choose from.

My personal favorite is the Armadillo Eggs appetizer, which is simply fantastic.

As for the service, it's usually great and attentive.

Café Zupas

One of my favorite spots for a quick and satisfying meal is Café Zupas, a fast-food restaurant that specializes in hearty soups, innovative salads, and diverse sandwiches.

As a local, I can't help but be impressed by their fresh ingredients and friendly service.

Just the other night, I was craving something light and tasty for dinner.

Café Zupas was open past nine on a Saturday night, so I decided to head over.

I ended up trying the spicy chicken and chipotle chicken salad they recommended, and it was absolutely delicious!

I also couldn't resist their dessert options, which really hit the spot.

I've also visited Café Zupas for a quick lunch, and even though it can get quite crowded on weekends, the line always moves fast.

I recently dined at Duc's Restaurant, and I had a fantastic experience.

As soon as I walked in, I could see that the restaurant had a cozy and friendly atmosphere.

The service is always top-notch, too.

Make a reservation and treat yourself to their creative menu, Sunday champagne brunch, or seasonal outdoor seating.

North Pole Restaurant (Newport)

Whenever I crave some comfort food, North Pole Restaurant is always my go-to place.

I've been a regular patron for quite some time now, and I just love everything about this family-owned restaurant.

The cabin motif is really cozy, giving it a warm, homey atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying those delicious American comfort food dishes.

I'm a huge fan of their daily specials, which can be found on their website.

One time, I was in a bit of a rush and decided to visit North Pole Restaurant for breakfast before embarking on a long drive.

The food was fantastic, and my coffee was piping hot, just the way I like it.

I highly recommend giving their chocolate chip pancakes a try – they're incredible and huge!

Catrinas Cerveza & Mexican Grill (Oakdale)

I've always considered myself a big fan of Mexican food, and when I heard about Catrinas Cerveza & Mexican Grill, I knew I had to give it a try.

As a frequent visitor, I can tell you that Catrinas offers good, fresh, casual food.

The portions are generous, and I particularly enjoyed the steak tacos and steak bowl, both of which were packed with flavor.

While the interior is somewhat dated, the tables and chairs showing their age add to the overall charm.

Their menu is quite extensive, and you might find dishes you haven't tried before.

Lakewood Tavern (Lake Elmo)

I had been hearing great things about Lakewood Tavern from friends and was excited to experience it for myself.

For dinner, I chose the caliente burger, which was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of heat.

My partner, who joined me for the night, opted for the Jamaican jerk wings, which, according to them, were the best wings they'd had in a while!

We also appreciated the extensive beer selection and couldn't resist finishing off our meal with a delicious old-fashioned.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Lakewood Tavern and will definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu items.

Tinnuci's (Newport)

I've been a regular at Tinucci's for over 25 years, and it truly feels like a home away from home.

This family-owned restaurant offers a diverse menu of American and Italian cuisine, and their deli section is always stocked with mouth-watering items.

What really sets Tinucci's apart, though, is their all-you-can-eat prime rib buffet - it's a must-try for anyone visiting the area.

I can't even count the number of family celebrations we've had here, and the service has always been top-notch.

One of my favorite memories at Tinucci's is the time some friends and I went to their Friday fish fry buffet.

Despite the place being full, the acoustics were so good that we didn't have to shout to hear each other.

Indian Masala (Maplewood)

I absolutely love Indian food, and I feel so lucky to have the Indian Masala restaurant in my neighborhood.

This place is truly amazing, and I can attest to the fact that every single item is made in-house.

The moment you take a bite, you know that the food is fresh and incredibly delicious.

In my opinion, it's the best Indian restaurant in the area.

I enjoy the lunch buffet, which is fairly priced and offers a wide variety of options, particularly on weekends.

And as someone who cares about dietary choices, I appreciate that they offer plenty of vegan options as well.

I've eaten here many times, both dine-in, and takeout, and the food has always been top-notch.

One of my absolute favorites is the goat vindaloo – if you've never had goat, this is the dish to try.

Another stunning appetizer is the chicken lollipop.

Of course, they also have an extensive selection of vegetarian and vegan options that are equally delicious.

I remember once when I had the buffet and decided to take a Masala Dosa for to-go.

The buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of choices for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

I felt the Chowmein and mutton dish could have been better, but overall, it was a delightful experience.

The Masala Dosa was not the best, as the crunchiness decreased, and the taste was not quite up to par, but the side chutneys were excellent.
