From cozy cafes to exquisite fine dining establishments, I've had the pleasure of tasting some of the most delicious dishes right here in our own backyard.
Keke's Breakfast Cafe
I absolutely love starting my day at Keke's Breakfast Cafe!
As someone who lives nearby, I frequently visit the Wesley Chapel location, and it has quickly become my favorite spot for breakfast.
Every time I walk in, I'm greeted with a warm welcome and the aroma of delicious food.
The modern diner ambiance, complete with booth seating, makes it a comfortable and inviting place to dine.
It's that level of customer care that makes Keke's stand out.
The food, of course, is the real star here.
My favorite dish is the Philly Cheesesteak omelet – it's incredibly tasty and filling, with generous portions that leave me satisfied every time.
I've also tried the stuffed French toast, which was a delightful surprise and a must-try for anyone visiting Keke's.
Whenever I have friends or family over, I make sure to bring them to Keke's for breakfast, and they always leave, raving about the experience.
Top Shelf Sports Lounge
One Sunday, I was in search of a place to watch some football, and I stumbled upon Top Shelf Sports Lounge.
Deciding to give it a try, I ordered wings and a bacon cheeseburger.
I have to say that the traditional wings were by far the BEST I've ever had.
The smoked flavor and buffalo sauce was simply out of this world!
I even tipped the cook for the amazing dish.
The bartender was great and very friendly, making sure our drinks were on point - and very strong!
The lounge turned out to be a fantastic place to watch hockey as well.
You can even bring the kids and rent some skates or just sit and watch the action on the two ice rinks.
Crazy Sushi Wiregrass
As a sushi enthusiast, I've been to numerous restaurants, but my recent dining experience at Crazy Sushi Wiregrass truly stood out.
The freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the sushi were simply exceptional.
What made my visit even more memorable was the fact that everything was made to order, and the sides were just as delicious as the main dishes.
The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience.
It’s a modern, clean facility with an open and spacious atmosphere.
The full-panel wall display featuring marine life made the restaurant feel unique and inviting.
The menu may seem repetitive at first glance, but it's actually sectioned based on the time of the day you visit, offering a wide variety of options.
One of the highlights of our meal was the tempura cheesecake.
Trust me, it's a must-try!
To top it all off, the cleanliness of the restaurant extended to the restrooms as well.
I'm always on the lookout for a great pizza place.
One evening, my family and I decided to give Pomodoro Pizza a try.
We were blown away by the delicious menu options and the exceptional service!
My daughter, who is usually quite picky with her food, absolutely loved the gnocchi with crispy bacon.
I must say, the garlic knots served alongside were simply irresistible.
As for the pizzas, we tried the Italiano, The Works, and Buffalo Chicken Pizza - they did not disappoint.
The veggie pizza was a standout as well, with its fresh, vibrant vegetables and perfectly cooked crust.
I have tried numerous restaurants, but I always find myself coming back to Chick'n Fun.
What makes it so special is the great variety of choices on their menu.
It's not just a typical fast-food joint – you can get both quick bites like burgers and chicken sandwiches and more dinner-like options, such as fish and chips, chicken Alfredo, and my personal favorite, the fried shrimp rice bowl.
The fried shrimp rice bowl is so generously portioned that I can eat the shrimp for dinner and save the rice for lunch the next day.
They even have the Food Network playing on the TV in the dining area, which I find quite entertaining.
I recently visited Tasty Ramen with my family to celebrate my brother's birthday, and it turned out to be an amazing experience.
The food itself was delicious and authentic.
I ordered the crab Rangoon and chicken ramen, while my partner, who's a former chef, tried the pork broth ramen that takes three days to be cooked and was quite impressed with the quality of the food.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, with murals and live music adding to the overall experience.
An interesting observation about the portion sizes at Tasty Ramen is that they're quite large.
I ordered the seafood ramen for $20, but it was more than enough for just one person.
Oh, how I love starting my day with a delicious breakfast from EggTown in Wesley Chapel!
Not to mention, the generous portions they serve are enough to satisfy any breakfast lover's appetite.
One thing I particularly enjoy about EggTown is their variety of unique menu items, alongside the classic breakfast favorites like pancakes and eggs.
My personal favorite is the Crab Cake Eggs Benny – it's simply amazing!
I've also tried their butter rum muffin, which was grilled to perfection and easily one of the best muffins I've ever had.
Green Market Cafe Wesley Chapel
I've had the pleasure of dining at the Green Market Cafe Wesley Chapel a few times, and I must say, it's been a delightful experience.
The atmosphere is minimalist and quiet, making it a great spot for a relaxing meal.
One of my favorite dishes to order is the superfood bowl, which features delicious grilled chicken, fresh mixed greens, quinoa, brown rice, avocado, and a variety of veggies.
The salad dressing that comes with it is so amazing that I've even bought a couple of bottles of it to take home!
Another dish that I've tried and loved is the pear, berry, and goat cheese salad, which was both ample and enjoyable.
A great bonus of dining at Green Market Cafe is the complimentary frozen yogurt that comes with your meal.
It's a perfect way to end your dining experience on a sweet note.
They also accept Google Pay, which is a convenient plus for me.
Top That Pizza and More
I recently discovered Top That Pizza and More and decided to give it a try, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience!
I tried their signature chicken on a stick, and let me tell you, the beer batter was perfectly crispy, and the chicken was juicy.
Even though I'm not a huge fan of pickles, the fried ones that came with my meal were simply amazing.
Now, let's talk about the donuts.
It's been ages since I last had apple cider donuts, and the ones at Top That Pizza and More did not disappoint!
The flavors were spot-on, and I couldn't resist bringing home a dozen for my family.
I also had the chance to enjoy some of their fries, and I was not disappointed.
The donuts and fries are definitely the stars of the show at this establishment.
One of my favorite spots to grab some delicious sushi in the Wesley Chapel area is Bonsai Sushi.
The exterior might not look like much, and the parking is limited, but don't let that fool you – their sushi rolls and traditional Japanese dishes are top-notch.
As soon as I step inside, I'm always impressed by how clean the dining room is.
The service is consistently friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.
Their menu is quite large, so it can take a while to decide what to order, but it's well worth the time.
Their pork dumplings are a must-try, and their sushi is always fresh and delicious.
One of my go-to rolls is the one with mango – it never disappoints!
Plus, their prices are very reasonable.
While waiting for your main roll, I recommend trying the seaweed salad, miso soup, and crab rangoon.
And don't forget to treat yourself to a glass of plum wine while you're there.
Flipn' Fries Factory
Just the other day, I decided to finally give Flipn' Fries Factory a visit.
I had been hearing some good things about it from friends and neighbors, so my curiosity was piqued.
I could already tell that this was going to be a great experience.
I was amazed by the variety of flavors and toppings they had available for their fries.
I went with their jerk chicken fries, and let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I've made in a while.
The fries were cooked to perfect crispiness, and the jerk chicken was so authentic and full of flavor.
I ordered a large portion, and despite initially thinking it might be too much, I ended up finishing the entire plate - it was just that good!
While I was there, I also noticed other customers around me enjoying their meals just as much as I did.
The shrimp and meat looked perfectly cooked, and the sauces were mouthwatering.
It's clear that this place puts a lot of effort into making sure their food is fresh and delicious.
La Creación Express
Let me tell you about my recent experience at La Creación Express.
I had heard about this new Puerto Rican spot in Wesley Chapel, and I just had to try it out.
I was immediately drawn in by the great ambiance with the music and the lounge chairs in the front.
You can check out their website here.
As for the food, I tried the chicken empanada and a sandwich.
The empanadas were absolutely delicious!
I also couldn't resist getting a donut, and it was so good - very filling, and the prices were excellent.
I noticed some people raving about the octopus empanada, so that's definitely on my list to try next time.
I must admit I'm a bit of a foodie, and I'm always on the lookout for interesting and unique dining experiences in my area.
A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon Shake-A-Salad and decided to give it a try.
Let me tell you, I was not disappointed!
As someone with a food allergy, it's always a bit nerve-wracking to try a new place.
I opted for the Asian Marinated Chicken Rice Bowl, and it was absolutely delicious!
The quality of the ingredients and the flavors were top-notch.
It's not often that I find a rice bowl that truly wows me, but this one did.
My mom, who accompanied me that day, had one of their salads and couldn't stop raving about it.
The BBQ chicken salad she ordered was fresh, crisp, and bursting with flavor.
She also mentioned that the herb ranch dressing was a game changer.
The highlight of our visit, however, was the incredible customer service.
We dined outside on their partitioned patio, which was a perfect setting for a casual evening out.
The atmosphere was lively, with people dancing and laughing, making it an even better experience.
Medilish Mediterranean Grill
I've always been a fan of Mediterranean cuisine.
However, it was only a few months ago that I stumbled upon Medilish Mediterranean Grill.
I've been hooked ever since!
The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Their menu is a delightful mix of authentic Mediterranean dishes that cater to various dietary preferences.
I'm vegetarian, and I'm always excited to try the many vegetarian options they offer.
The falafel salad is my go-to dish, and it never disappoints.
I've also heard that they're very accommodating to customers with gluten allergies, offering gluten-free options and continually looking for ways to expand their menu.
Each dish is freshly made with high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are simply divine.
The harira soup is a must-try, and if you're a meat lover, my friends swear by the gyro salad and chicken salad.
And don't even get me started on their baklava - it's the perfect ending to a satisfying meal.
The Hungry Greek
When I found out about The Hungry Greek, I knew I had to give it a try.
One particular weekend, I decided to treat myself to some delicious Greek food from this local counter-serve chain.
The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual dine-in experience.
I had heard great things about their Spinach Pie, so I decided to order that along with a Falafel Hungry Pita and a Falafel Caesar Salad.
To my delight, the food was prepared quickly, and I didn't have to wait long at all.
The Spinach Pie was absolutely delicious and everything I hoped it would be.
The pita was also quite tasty, packed with all the necessary ingredients for a fulfilling meal.
But the real standout for me was the Falafel Caesar Salad.
It was amazing, with a perfect blend of sauces and fresh ingredients that left me feeling satisfied and eager to return.
Pasta di Guy
Just the other day, I was in the mood for some Italian food and decided to give Pasta di Guy in Wesley Chapel a try.
I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a quick bite.
To my surprise, this place turned out to be an absolute hidden gem!
As soon as I walked in, I noticed the semi-fast food set up, where you order at the counter and have your food brought to your table.
I ordered the vodka sauce with Italian sausage, and I seriously couldn't believe how fresh and delicious it was.
My friend tried the chicken Alfredo and said it was the best pasta he's ever had!
It's not just the pasta that's amazing - those breadsticks are to die for, and the pizza is a definite must-try.

Arepa Mia Bar & Restaurant (Lutz)
I decided to try their pork arepa, which turned out to be the most flavorful dish at our table.
My daughter loved her cheese arepa and compared it to a jumbo cornmeal fritter with cheese (Jumbo Sorullo), which she adores.
Additionally, the grilled arepa underneath was quite hard and difficult to cut.
On a more positive note, the alcapurrias were delicious, and my mom thoroughly enjoyed the flan for its cake-like texture.
