The Painted Tea Cup
I recently visited The Painted Tea Cup for afternoon tea with a few of my friends.
The ambiance of this 2-story Victorian home was delightful, providing a cozy and intimate setting for our gathering.
The service was absolutely stellar.
I personally appreciated the service factor, as it added a touch of elegance to our experience.
The high tea and small bites were quite tasty, though I must admit that the portions were a bit on the smaller side.
The chicken salad croissant was a favorite among our group.
Little Saigon
One of my favorite places to eat in Upper Darby is Little Saigon, a quaint and cozy Vietnamese restaurant that offers an extensive menu of traditional dishes and beverages, as well as vegetarian options.
My family and I have been enjoying the delectable cuisine here for over three decades, and we've never been disappointed!
One of my all-time favorites is the spring rolls - they are so fresh and flavorful I could eat them every day!
I also enjoy their vermicelli dishes and the refreshing iced coffee.
What makes Little Saigon even more special is the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the lovely family who owns the restaurant.
They are always up for a chat and genuinely care about their customers' experience.
Leandro's Pizza House
Every time I crave delicious pizza, Leandro's Pizza House is my go-to spot.
The employees are always so friendly, and the service is impressively fast.
Just a heads up, it's a CASH-ONLY establishment, so I always make sure to have some on hand when I visit.
I've tried many of their pizzas, and I must say, the spinach, plain cheese, and pepperoni are the absolute best.
I've been visiting Leandro's since I was a child, and the quality of their pizza has never wavered.

The spacious seating area and ample parking space outside the restaurant make it a convenient choice for dining in or taking out.
I'm not the only one who raves about the food at 1st Indian Kitchen.
Other patrons have also praised their chicken tikka masala, vegetable samosas, kadai paneer, and korma.
The naan bread is also a must-try - it's always warm, fluffy, and perfect for scooping up your choice of curry.
Pocha Street
One of my favorite go-to spots for a delicious and authentic Korean BBQ experience is Pocha Street.
The atmosphere is perfect for a night out with friends or even a solo trip – I've done both!
What sets Pocha Street apart from other Korean BBQ places is the tabletop grills, allowing us to cook our own meats.
This makes it a fun and interactive dining experience.
I usually get one of their pre-fixed meat sets, which are perfect for sharing and reasonably priced.
Don't forget to add some Korean Fried Chicken and soju to your order – it pairs perfectly with the grilled meats.
The layout and vibe of Pocha Street make it feel like you're actually dining on a street in Korea, which adds to the overall authenticity of the experience.
Wilson's Secret Sauce
Let me tell you, I've been to my fair share of BBQ joints in the country, but nothing compares to the deliciousness that is Wilson's Secret Sauce.
I've been a regular at their restaurant, and I can't help but keep returning for more.
When you walk into the place, the heavenly aroma of BBQ instantly fills your nostrils, making your mouth water in anticipation.
They always make me feel welcome, and their service is top-notch.
But the real star of the show is the food – particularly their Buffalo wings and pulled pork.
I've had BBQ all over the South, but none of them come close to the perfection that Wilson's Secret Sauce achieves.
The sides are just as impressive as the main dishes.
Their fries are always crispy, and their cornbread hits the spot every time.
The one time I had their brisket, the flavor was fantastic.
And while their sweet tea might not be as sugary as the southern versions, it's still a refreshing drink to have with their delicious BBQ.
Pike Square Pizza
Ever since I stumbled upon Pike Square Pizza in my neighborhood, I've been hooked!
The Brooklyn-style crust is light, chewy, and crispy, making it the perfect foundation for their delicious toppings.
The sauce has a hint of basil, and the cheese is just right.
My kids adore it too, which makes it a win-win for everyone in the family.
I no longer bother going to any other pizza place.
Not only do they make fantastic pizza, but their other menu items are also scrumptious.
Their mozzarella sticks are a family favorite, especially because the marinara sauce is divine.
It's clear they put a lot of care and attention to detail in every dish they serve.
Their dedication to customer service is evident, and it's one of the reasons I keep coming back.
I'm also a big fan of their Greek salad and garlic knots.
And I've heard great things about their Baklava, so it's definitely on my must-try list for next time!
Moojinjang
I remember visiting Moojinjang back in October 2018, and I must say it was quite an experience.
The restaurant is located at 6443 Market St, Upper Darby, PA, and it's a mom-and-pop style family restaurant.
The place itself looked old, which adds to the overall charm of the area.
As for the food, I tried the Gal bi tang, O Jing Bokeum, and Boolgogi.
The Gal bi tang soup was great, and the meat was tender.
The O Jing Bokeum was quite spicy, which was great for a rainy day.

I've always been a fan of Korean food, so I was excited when I discovered Jian Korean Cuisine at the HMart food court.
It quickly became my go-to spot for Korean lunch and takeout.
I can't get enough of their Squid-Pork Bulgogi (#30); it's cooked to perfection on a sizzling platter and is the best value meal you'll find.

I have been here several times on various occasions, and each time, the service has been absolutely fantastic.
They were extremely helpful in planning the event and made sure everything was stress-free and enjoyable for everyone involved.
And, as always, the food was scrumptious and reasonably priced.
Their pizza, hoagies, and meatballs are particularly popular among the regulars, and I couldn't agree more.
Ajwa Halal Restaurant
As a regular visitor to Ajwa Halal Restaurant, I can confidently say that they never disappoint!
The food is not only fresh but also incredibly flavorful, making it hard to resist coming back for more.
One of my favorite dishes at Ajwa is the butter chicken - it's creamy and packed with tender pieces of chicken.
Their samosas and bhaji are the perfect appetizers, crispy and full of flavor but not too spicy.
And you can't leave without trying the galub jamon for dessert - simply delicious!
Although the restaurant is modest in size, the quality of the food and the love put into each dish are undeniable.
The diverse menu offers various Pakistani dishes, and their large naan bread is perfect for sharing.
On my next visit, I look forward to trying their chapli kebab, which I've heard great things about.
bb.q Chicken Upper Darby
Let me tell you about my experience at bb.q Chicken Upper Darby. For starters, the service was incredibly quick and efficient.
I went in just for a boba tea, but I've had their chicken before, and it was absolutely delicious.
I appreciated the clean environment, which is always a big plus for any dining establishment.
Now, let me tell you about the food.
I've tried the Honey Garlic wings and sweet potato fries, and they were, hands down, some of the best chicken dishes I've ever tasted.
I can confidently say it's worth the drive from South Philly just for this amazing food.
The combination of seasoning on the wings was perfect - not too sweet, not too salty, just right.
And the sweet potato fries?
They're always fresh, and I find myself snacking on them the entire ride home.
I recently tried their wings for the first time, and I'm kicking myself for not giving them a shot sooner.
They're absolutely worth every dollar.
Tomo Sushi
I have always enjoyed trying out different sushi places.
One of my go-to spots has been Tomo Sushi because of its convenient location and tasty sushi.
The service is fantastic, and the sushi is delectable.
Their party tray also has an incredible variety.

As someone who's always on the lookout for delicious and unique food in my neighborhood, I was delighted to discover H&B Peruvian Food.
I've dined there a few times now, and I must say that they offer some of the most authentic Peruvian dishes I've ever tasted.
Their rotisserie chicken with rice is a healthy yet flavorful option, and the plantains are a great addition to any meal.
On one occasion, I didn't receive the cookies I ordered, but that didn't deter me from giving them five stars, thanks to the extra green sauces they provided.
You can check out their Facebook page here.
Though the French fries could use some seasoning, the rest of the menu more than makes up for it.
I particularly enjoyed the Papas a la Huancaiana, Lomo Saltado, and Chupe.
The Huancaiana sauce had a slightly bitter taste, which added a unique depth to the dish.
The Lomo Saltado was perfectly cooked with a great flavor profile.
To top it all off, I indulged in a buttery and rich alfajor for dessert.
