As soon as we entered, we were welcomed by the beautiful floral china - it was just the aesthetic we were looking for!
We indulged in a variety of delicious foods such as quiche, soup, and finger sandwiches, all beautifully presented on tiered trays.
The scones with clotted cream were a personal favorite of mine!
And, of course, we couldn't leave without trying their tea selection.
I'm not much of a tea drinker, but their French Caramel Crème Brulee Black Tea was a game changer - it was sweet, light, and the perfect accompaniment to our meal.

I can't believe it took me 23 years to stumble upon Louie K Subs / Club Sandwich, despite it being near my workplace for so long.
One day, I was really craving a tuna melt and found this hidden gem through a quick Google search.
My only regret is not trying them sooner!
The tuna melt on garlic bread was worth every bite!
The bread was fresh, fluffy, and had just the right amount of garlic flavor to enhance, but not overpower, the sandwich.
I appreciated the attention to detail in that aspect.

Service was top-notch, with Louie himself answering all my questions and being very professional.
The shop itself is a clean and welcoming space with a charming purple theme, although it's worth mentioning that it's take-out only and doesn't have a restroom.
I don't usually write reviews, but Louie K Subs / Club Sandwich truly deserves one.
The quality of their subs, coupled with great music playing in the background, has made me a repeat customer.
Since discovering this spot, I've tried the triple turkey and tuna subs, and I have to say, their tuna sub is easily the best I've ever had.

While I personally wouldn't reorder the curry goat, it wasn't bad, and I've heard great things about their other dishes as well.

I usually go there to watch the football games, and even though the games can sometimes be a disappointment, the atmosphere at Kings Head makes up for it.
Their food is always impressive, with dishes like the sausage roll, which has a golden crispy pastry on the outside and a rich sausage flavor in the middle.
Another favorite of mine is the steak and ale pot pie - it's absolutely delicious and a must-try.

Although the decor might not be anything fancy, it doesn't matter much to me as the food is the main attraction here.
Plus, it's a kosher kitchen, so I never have to worry about dairy ingredients in my meals, and I know I'm getting the best quality meats.
One of my favorite dishes to order is the Shawarma Baguette.
The meat is tender and full of flavor, making it a must-try!
I have also tried the Sunrise Pita and Grilled Chicken Pita, both of which were prepared correctly, tasted great, and left me satisfied.

This cozy strip-mall jazz bar and restaurant has become my go-to place for a night of incredible live music and delicious food.

One of the things I love about All That Jazz is that most of the crowd are regulars, so you're always bound to run into familiar faces or even make some new friends.
The live jazz music is phenomenal - the guest sax player and the house band always know how to get the crowd going.
But what really surprised me was how great the food is.
The menu offers an interesting Italian/creole fusion which I haven't found anywhere else.
I usually create my own pasta, adding chicken and shrimp in a tasty vodka-tomato cream sauce.
And don't even get me started on their garlic bread with pesto and mozzarella cheese - it's to die for!
El Boom
I recently visited El Boom for the first time and had an amazing experience.
The service was super friendly, and the food was delicious!
I ordered the Arepa sandwich, which made my mouth water and filled me up.
The wings with a side order of their French fries were also fantastic.
The sauce on the wings was delicious, and the grio, along with a side order of fried plantains, was cooked to perfection.
The fried plantains were seasoned beautifully, and I can see why it's called El Boom now!
Embarcadero 41
Whenever I'm in the mood for some delicious Peruvian cuisine, I head over to Embarcadero 41 in Sunrise, Florida.
This contemporary eatery never disappoints with its eclectic offerings, ranging from ceviches and poke bowls to a variety of seafood dishes.
I remember the last time I dined there, I opted to sit outside and enjoy the lovely Florida weather.
I was delighted by the friendly atmosphere and exceptional service.
As for the food, I couldn't resist ordering the octopus, tuna slices, and fried calamari.
Everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
I've heard nothing but rave reviews from friends and fellow residents about Embarcadero 41, and I couldn't agree more.
It's no wonder this place is considered one of the best Peruvian restaurants in the area.

I can't say enough good things about Country Walk Takeout Inc.
I've been going there for years now, and I must admit that their breakfast offerings are top-notch.
They're consistently delicious and satisfying, making it a great way to start my day.
The ackee and saltfish, for example, is a personal favorite of mine.
It's so flavorful and well-prepared that I can't help but crave it every now and then.
Their fried dumplings are also brilliant, as are their massive (albeit greasy) fritters.

876 Cafe
I can confidently say that 876 Cafe is one of the best Jamaican restaurants in the area.
Located in Sunrise Plaza, this restaurant has ample parking and a very welcoming atmosphere.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted professionally and with a smile.
The decor is lovely, and the entire place is spotless, making it a great spot for a dine-in experience.
I decided to go for the curried goat, rice & peas, plantains, salad, and ginger ale.
The wait time was reasonable, and I chose to take my meal to go.
Once I started eating, I was delighted with the flavors and even had some leftovers for later.
I must say, it tasted better than some other Jamaican food I've had at other South Florida Jamaican restaurants.
