One of my favorite spots to dine in the area is the Whistling Straits Restaurant, an elegant American restaurant located on the grounds of the picturesque and exclusive golf course.

Whenever I have guests in town or just want to treat myself to a special meal, this is where I go.

The view alone is worth the visit as you get to overlook the stunning golf course and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

I love dining on their patio on a nice day, but the interior of the restaurant is equally classy and elegant, making it the perfect setting for any occasion.

As for the food, it never disappoints. I've tried the lamb dish and the potato leek soup, both of which exceeded my expectations not only in taste but also in presentation.

The bread they serve as a starter is always fresh and delicious, and their cheesecake makes for an indulgent dessert, although I must admit it's best enjoyed in the restaurant setting.

Their mixed drinks are well-crafted, and the atmosphere is inviting and cozy.

The Silver Fern Pub

Just the other night, I decided to visit The Silver Fern Pub with a few friends, and I must say it was an amazing experience.

I was impressed with their attention to detail - they quickly learned our names and our favorite drinks, which is not something you come across in every pub.

The atmosphere was perfect - not too big, not too small, and with plenty of entertainment options to keep us busy all night.

One thing I must mention is their diverse menu.

We ordered some cheese curds, which were top-notch, and couldn't resist trying their Thursday night tater tot specials - they were absolutely delicious!

The seating was comfortable, with plenty of legroom, and the lighting and wall decor added to the overall welcoming ambiance.

Seeboth Delicatessen

The other day, I decided to try out Seeboth Delicatessen for lunch, and I must say, it was an excellent decision!

I ended up ordering a wrap and a burger, and both were simply amazing.

The wrap was so fresh and flavorful, while the burger was cooked to perfection.

Plus, their house-made chips were a delightful surprise!

Not only was the food outstanding, but the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely and well-maintained.

I couldn't help but notice their display of mouthwatering desserts, and although I managed to resist the temptation this time, I know I'll be back soon to try out their strawberry cheesecake or salted caramel brownie.

Cocina Mi Familia

One of my favorite spots to grab some delicious Mexican food is Cocina Mi Familia.

This Mexican restaurant is truly a hidden gem in our area.

Every time I visit, the food and service never disappoint me.

One of my favorite dishes here is the homemade-style quesadilla.

It's packed with flavor, and the guacamole is made from scratch, making it so much better than other places I've tried.

I also love their perfectly seasoned meat tacos, which, in my opinion, are the best I've had so far.

The prices are just right, and the atmosphere is always welcoming and cozy.

I have even tried their delivery service, and I must say that the delivery driver was quick and friendly, and the food came fast.

The French fries were nice and crispy, the tacos were scrumptious, and the chimichanga was crispy and flavorful.

The nachos were loaded with toppings and definitely worth trying.

Cocina Mi Familia has become my go-to place whenever I crave Mexican food, and I'm glad to have such an amazing restaurant in our community.

Lino Ristorante Italiano

One of my favorite spots to enjoy a delicious meal in Sheboygan is Lino Ristorante Italiano.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm welcome and a cozy, dimly-lit atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease.

The service is always attentive and friendly, making it the perfect spot for special occasions like anniversaries or birthdays.

As a wine lover, I appreciate Lino's extensive selection of wines to pair with their delicious Italian seafood, pasta, and meat dishes.

While the main dishes can sometimes take a little longer to arrive, the appetizers never disappoint, always coming out hot and fresh.

The interior of the restaurant is beautifully kept and spacious, providing an elegant yet casual ambiance.

One of the highlights of Lino Ristorante Italiano is their outdoor patio, which offers a breathtaking view of the Sheboygan River.

It's the perfect place to unwind and savor the flavors of Italy while taking in the picturesque surroundings.

And let's not forget about the food! I still remember the first time I tried their vegetable soup – each spoonful was warm, scrumptious, and full of flavor.

Another favorite of mine is the lamb pasta dish, which features a robust taste and perfectly cooked noodles. I do wish they'd include more lamb in the dish, but it's still excellent, regardless.

To end the night on a sweet note, the dessert options are always a delight, with the chocolate and cream topped with cookie bits being a personal favorite.

If you haven't had the chance to visit Lino Ristorante Italiano yet, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Der Sheboygan Biergarten

I can't get enough of Der Sheboygan Biergarten.

The authentic German atmosphere, the beautiful setting alongside the Sheboygan River, and the amazing selection of mostly German beers make it one of my favorite places to spend an afternoon or evening.

I love that the Biergarten has a pick-up counter, picnic tables, and gravel ground, making me feel like I've been transported to a real German Biergarten.

While they only have a few food items available, like massive Bavarian pretzels, I appreciate that they allow us to bring our own food or have it delivered there.

It not only saves money, but it also makes the experience even more unique and customizable.

One of the best parts about Der Sheboygan Biergarten is the beer selection.

They have a great variety of mostly German beers, and the prices are very reasonable.

Plus, they have fun yard games like bean bag toss and giant Jenga that you can play while enjoying your drinks.

Frank's Place

One of my favorite spots to hang out and grab a bite in town is Frank's Place.

It's a cozy little bar and pizza joint that's always well-maintained and clean, both inside and out.

Whenever I go to Frank's, I make sure to order their cheese garlic bread, which is always mouthwatering, and the Scarface cheese pizza.

Just a heads up, they're a thin-crust pizza place, so if that's your preference, you're in for a treat!

Sundance Saloon Bar & Grill

Sundance Saloon Bar & Grill quickly became my go-to spot when I need to grab a bite or hang out for a drink.

I've ordered delivery from Sundance Saloon several times, and I must say that their wings, cheese curds, and fries are always on point.

The delivery is always quick, and the drivers are friendly.

The few times I've visited the place in person, it's been an awesome experience. I love hanging out with my old bandmate, Geoff, here.

All the customers are so friendly, and the jukebox music always sets the perfect mood.

The drinks are amazing, and the prices don't hurt my pocket, either.

Sundance Saloon is also a great spot to host small gatherings or parties.

Tochi Ramen

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tochi Ramen, a modern ramen restaurant with a punk-rock vibe in Sheboygan.

Their menu offers a variety of Japanese ramen soups, as well as noodle and rice dishes. Let me tell you, the food and flavors were nothing short of fantastic!

Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately impressed by the cozy dining area and the friendly service.

I would highly recommend calling ahead to reserve a spot, or you can always eat at the bar.

I tried their dumplings, which had an interesting ravioli-like texture but were still very enjoyable.

As for the main course, I decided to go with the Beef Udon, and it did not disappoint.

The beef was so tender and tasty, and the bone marrow butter melting into the broth truly elevated the dish.

I also had a chance to taste the Tonkotsu ramen with its rich flavor and perfectly cooked pork belly.

I must say, Tochi Ramen has quickly become one of my new favorite places in town.

Just a word of advice: plan ahead and come in early, as this place fills up quickly.

Il Ritrovo

As a Sheboygan resident, I can confidently say that Il Ritrovo is one of my favorite spots.

It's a fantastic Italian restaurant that offers so much more than just great pizza.

Inside, you'll find a wine bar, deli, and even an Italian grocery.

What truly sets Il Ritrovo apart is their wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas.

You can taste the difference, and it's worth every penny.

I've brought friends visiting from out of town to Il Ritrovo, and they can't stop talking about it.

The service is also top-notch.

Field to Fork

Ever since the Field to Fork opened in Sheboygan, I've been a regular customer, and I must say it's one of the most amazing spots in town!

I've tried so many delicious farm-to-table dishes for both breakfast and lunch, and I simply can't get enough.

The freshness of the ingredients is unmatched, as they locally source their products to support local farmers.

Aside from the mouthwatering dishes, the atmosphere of Field to Fork is equally captivating.

The decor is lovely and has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes me feel right at home.

I also appreciate that the cafe offers gluten-free options, which aren't explicitly mentioned on the menu but are available upon request.

I have friends with gluten allergies, and they always enjoy the gluten-free bread and buns when we dine here.

Another highlight of Field to Fork is their fresh juice bar – it's perfect for those who want to indulge in a nutritious and refreshing drink.

The Northwestern House

One place that has never disappointed me is The Northwestern House. This charming, easygoing eatery has always been my go-to spot for a relaxed meal with friends and family.

The old-timey railroad theme adds a unique touch to the ambiance, making it a pleasant and nostalgic place to dine.

Whenever I visit, the service is always impeccable.

As for the food, it's simply delicious.

My personal favorites are the steak sandwich, which is expertly griddled to a perfect sear, and the mouthwatering butter burgers.

I also love their crispy onion rings and white cheese nuggets, which make perfect appetizers to share.

One can't leave The Northwestern House without trying their amazing desserts.

Local Press Eatery

I recently stopped by Local Press Eatery for lunch, and I must say, it's quite a unique dining experience in downtown Sheboygan.

The ordering system is more like a European deli - you order your food and drink, pay upfront, and then get your food.

The prices are quite affordable, and they have a rotating menu of specials that keeps things interesting.

My burger was cooked perfectly.

I can see why many people consider this place a great cheap eat in the area.

Majerle's Black River Grill

I absolutely love going to Majerle's Black River Grill for a delicious and cozy dining experience.

This American restaurant serves up comfort food dishes like pork chops, fried shrimp, and more in a rustic forest cabin setting.

It's like a little hidden gem tucked away in the Sheboygan woods, right on the edge of Lake Michigan.

One of the things I enjoy the most about this place is the atmosphere.

The dining room is separate from the bar and can seat around 60 people, which means it's never too crowded or noisy.

You can also watch deer grazing right outside the dining room windows – it's such a serene and peaceful sight.

I usually call ahead to make a reservation, just to be on the safe side, but they're not required.

The prime rib special on Saturday nights is my go-to choice, and I can't recommend it enough.

For about $23, you get a generous portion that's cooked to perfection.

Their seafood chowder and side salad are also excellent.

It's one of those places where everyone seems to know each other, and that's what makes it so special.

No matter how many times I visit, it always feels like coming back to a familiar, cozy spot that never disappoints.

Trattoria Stefano

I have had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria Stefano a few times, and it never disappoints.

The atmosphere is casual and rustic, creating a cozy and welcoming environment.

Their upscale Italian fare is crafted from local ingredients, which makes you feel like you're enjoying a meal in the heart of Italy.

One thing that sets Trattoria Stefano apart from other Italian restaurants is their incredible tiramisu.

The recipe is 28 years old, and it is, hands down, the best tiramisu I have ever tasted.

What I love most about Trattoria Stefano is its authentic Italian experience. From aperitifs to digestives, they have everything covered, and no detail is spared.

Their cocktails alone are worth a visit, but their delicious meals will leave you feeling extremely satisfied.

Whisk Bakery & Coffee

Whenever I'm craving something sweet and a good cup of coffee, I head over to Whisk Bakery & Coffee.

It's become my go-to spot since I discovered it not too long ago!

The establishment is clean and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax and catch up with friends.

One thing that sets this bakery apart is their keto-friendly options.

I remember ordering a keto birthday cake for my partner, and it was fantastic.

Although they don't have the nutritional values listed on their baked goods, I trust that they're mindful of their customers' dietary needs.

Trust me, it's such a relief to find a place that offers scrumptious low-carb treats without compromising on taste.

In addition to their delightful keto pastries, they also have a wide range of other desserts that are equally delicious.

While they might seem a little pricey, I assure you that every bite is worth it.

And let's not forget about their coffee – it's simply amazing!

Sharpie's On Broadway

Last week, I decided to give Sharpie's On Broadway a try for a casual dinner, and I must say it didn't disappoint!

The building itself is quite charming, and though it's a bit small on the inside, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.

The cleanliness and ease of moving around inside were something I truly appreciated.

The service at Sharpie's on Broadway was quick and polite - I didn't encounter any issues during my visit.

As for the food, I opted for a cheeseburger with a side of tater tots and fries.

To my delight, not only were the prices ridiculously affordable, but the food was delicious as well!

Sharpie's is probably the smallest bar and grill I've been to, but it has definitely left a great impression on me.

I've heard from fellow locals that they also serve some of the best drinks in town, and their pretzel bites and steak sandwiches are must-tries.

I'm already looking forward to my next visit to this fantastic neighborhood bar!

The Spices Restaurant and Bar

I've recently discovered a new favorite spot - The Spices Restaurant and Bar.

I've visited the place a few times already, and I must say the food is absolutely fantastic!

The butter chicken is a must-try, and the cheese naan is to die for.

What I really appreciate is that The Spices introduced me to the wonderful world of Indian cuisine.

During my last visit, I noticed an improvement in the overall organization of the place.

I shared a Gobi Manchurian with my friend, and although it was a bit on the sour side, I still enjoyed it.

The Spices Special meal was decent, but the lamb could've been better cooked.

Harry's Diner

I recently visited Harry's Diner for the first time, and I was absolutely blown away.

The moment I walked in, I felt like I had been transported back to the days of Route 66.

The atmosphere was incredible, with 1950s and 60s music playing.

The food was equally impressive. I ordered the bacon & cheese skillet, and let me tell you, it was loaded with bacon!

It also had hash browns, onions, cheese, and eggs cooked to my preference.

The breakfast, toast, and coffee were all spot-on.

The service was attentive, even on a weekday morning around 8:30 am.

Despite being attached to a gas station and looking like a highway truck stop from the outside, Harry's Diner is undeniably a gem.

The memorabilia and metal window blinds add to the authentic diner feel, and they even have a full bar!

Located just off Highway 43 near Sheboygan, this place has become my new favorite breakfast spot.

Nine-O-Two on the Avenue

I have to say, one of my favorite spots in Sheboygan has to be Nine-O-Two on the Avenue.

I've been a regular there for the past few years, and I just can't get enough of it!

Every time I visit, I'm blown away by their delicious food and fantastic atmosphere.

I've tried quite a few items on the menu, and honestly, I can't pick a favorite.

Their Hofbrau special always takes me back down memory lane, and their mushroom and Swiss burger is so big I end up having leftovers for my next meal!

And don't even get me started on their onion rings - hands down, the best I've ever had.

The bartenders, especially Andrea, are so much fun and always up for a good laugh.

I enjoy sitting at the bar, sipping on a drink, and catching up with the regulars.

Each time I go to Nine-O-Two on the Avenue, it's like coming home to good friends, great food, and an inviting atmosphere.

If you're ever in town, make sure to stop by and say hi - you definitely won't be disappointed!

BoMallies

I've always been curious about BoMallies, so I finally decided to give it a try with a delivery order.

I must say, it was totally worth it!

Although I didn't go to the restaurant itself, the delivery driver was quick and polite, which left a good impression.

The food was fantastic!

Their bread and pesto combination was an absolute delight, and the chicken curry is now one of my favorites.

I have to admit, the Korean tacos were a bit hard to keep down, but the taste was still great.

One of my friends, who's had the chance to dine in, highly recommended their salads and pot stickers and mentioned that the outdoor patio had a nice atmosphere with enjoyable music.

They also serve food tapas style for the whole table to share upon reservation, which sounds like a fantastic way to try different items on their menu.

Parkside Family Restaurant

Every Sunday, my family and I make it a point to have breakfast at Parkside Family Restaurant.

With high chairs and booster seats available, it's a perfect kid-friendly spot for families like ours.

One of my all-time favorite dishes has to be their chicken dumpling soup.

It's simply divine, and I never miss a chance to get some to go.

Besides that, my family and I have tried a variety of their offerings, including the delicious BLT, tater tots, French toast, and pancakes, which never disappoint.

I must say, their homemade soups are truly exceptional.

We once had the chicken orzo soup, and it was hands down the best soup we've ever tasted.

If only we lived closer, I'd be buying their soups to enjoy at home regularly.

The restaurant is conveniently located with ample parking, making it an easy find for anyone in the area.

Frankie's Pub & Grill

I recently decided to give Frankie's Pub & Grill a try, and I must say, I was quite impressed!

This low-key pub offers a great variety of craft beer, burgers, seafood, and other American dishes, along with a cozy patio for enjoying the outdoors.

It was small but easy to move around in and very clean.

I ordered their mozzarella sticks, which were uniquely made and incredibly tasty.

For my main course, I tried one of their huge burgers, and it was just as delicious as the appetizers.

The service was quick and attentive, and the prices were quite reasonable.

I also appreciated the fact that everything tasted fresh and made with care.

Scenic Bar & Restaurant

Scenic Bar & Restaurant is one of my go-to places for a delightful meal and a fun time with friends.

I went for lunch with a friend, and we didn't know what to expect at all. But we were pleasantly surprised!

The food at Scenic Bar & Restaurant is nothing short of amazing.

I've tried their bacon cheeseburger with multiple options of cheese on a Sheboygan hard roll, and it was mouth-watering!

My friend got the chicken bacon ranch wrap, and she couldn't stop raving about it.

The best part is that the prices are quite reasonable, which makes it perfect for regular visits.

They also offer great food and drinks at reasonable prices, with a good selection of favorite foods along with other hard-to-find specialty and daily special foods.

One time, I decided to get a delivery from Scenic, and I thoroughly enjoyed their food!

I got two burgers that were made and topped just how I like them, along with some delicious fries and accompanying sauce.

The tortes were absolutely scrumptious too!

My only minor complaints were the price and the average mozzarella sticks, but other than that, I enjoyed what I got.
