Ramen Satto

Ever since I tried Sumo's delicious ramen, I was eager to visit Ramen Satto and taste its famous dishes.

It didn't disappoint! The flavors were absolutely amazing.

I was especially impressed by the richness and generous portions of the ramen bowls, and the gyoza was above average too.

The self-service room was a nice touch, ensuring a clean and well-maintained dining area.

The decoration added to the overall ambiance, making the experience even more enjoyable.

If you're looking for something closest to Japan's authentic taste, you should definitely try their variety of options, such as Shoyu, Miso, and Spicy ramen with a choice of pork or chicken.

The Mud Hole of the Black Hills

One of my favorite spots to grab breakfast in Rapid City is The Mud Hole of the Black Hills.

This charming, rustic diner is located just off Main Street, fitting perfectly in our bustling downtown area.

The Mud Hole is open from Tuesday to Saturday, between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., which makes it perfect for a quick breakfast on workdays or a leisurely weekend brunch.

I love browsing their small gift shop area, which reminds me of a mix between a Cracker Barrel and an old-fashioned antique shop – it adds a touch of nostalgia to the experience.

Their menu offers a variety of simple yet flavorful dishes, and they have plenty of options for the kids, too, from French toast sticks to oatmeal.

Some of my personal favorites are the Mud Bog, Mud Benedict, Mud Hash Bash, steak burrito, All Meat Omelet, biscuits & gravy, and the classic 2 egg breakfast.

The Gyro Hub 2 on CATRON

One of my favorite places to grab a quick and delicious meal around here is definitely The Gyro Hub 2 on CATRON.

I can't help but visit this place every now and then to satisfy my craving for Mediterranean food!

Last week, I ordered the classic gyro with fries, and let me tell you, the fries were crispy on the outside and absolutely delicious!

The gyro itself was really tasty, with the tzatziki sauce coming on the side, which I appreciate.

I also tried their Turkish lemonade for the first time, and it was incredibly refreshing.

The atmosphere at The Gyro Hub is cozy, offering limited seating both inside and outside.

It's perfect for a quick dine-in or takeout experience.

I've had Mediterranean food in other places, but The Gyro Hub 2 stands out as one of the best I've ever had.

Their shwarma is large, filling, and absolutely scrumptious, and every side dish I've tried has been spot-on.

A&D Jamaican Restaurant

I have been living in Rapid City for quite some time now, and I have always been on the lookout for unique dining experiences.

One day, I stumbled upon A&D Jamaican Restaurant and was absolutely delighted by the food and atmosphere.

The place might not look like much from the outside, and the interior is quite simple, but that's where its charm lies.

The food here is outstanding - from the Jerk Chicken (my personal favorite) to the cabbage, rice & peas, and the stew and gravy.

Just be aware that the chicken usually has bones in it due to the cooking style, so be cautious if you or your kids are trying it.

I know some people might say it's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for at A&D.

The quality and quantity of the food are totally worth it.

I try to visit at least once a month to support this amazing local business.

One thing I would suggest to them is to play some background music, as it can be a bit too quiet during lunchtime.

But overall, A&D Jamaican Restaurant is a hidden gem in Rapid City that you should definitely give a shot at.

Juniper

Dining at Juniper, I must say, was an unforgettable experience.

The food felt like a fancier version of home cooking, with a touch of elegance.

I tried their French onion soup, which reminded me of my mother's recipe, and it was simply divine.

Every bite I took was a burst of flavor, and the quality of the food was matched by the exceptional service.

For my main course, I opted for duck breast, which was cooked to perfection.

I also had a taste of my friend's halibut, and it was amazing as well.

The Gyro Hub

Whenever I have a craving for Mediterranean food, I can always count on The Gyro Hub to hit the spot.

I've been to this contemporary, counter-serve eatery several times now, and it never fails to impress me with its delicious gyros, wraps, falafel, and more.

The food is always fresh, modern, and packed with flavor.

One of my favorite things to order at The Gyro Hub is the Classic Gyro with lamb.

It's not only delicious but also quite filling as a meal itself.

The falafel plate is another must-try, with a perfectly crusted exterior and a softer interior that beautifully enhances the overall taste and appeal.

And don't even get me started on their Turkish rice bowl – the rice is cooked to perfection, and the accompaniments just take the flavor up a notch.

Harriet & Oak

One of my regular go-to spots for a great cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast is Harriet & Oak.

With its unique rustic industrial atmosphere, which includes a vintage VW van parked right inside, it's a hip cafe and roastery that has never disappointed me.

I always love trying their different coffee options.

My recent favorite has been the maple brown sugar latte, while my partner enjoys their golden latte.

The avocado toast is a must-try, and don't forget to add an egg or two!

My partner's go-to dish is their breakfast bowl, which is always mouth-watering.

Located in Rapid City, Harriet & Oak offers street parking or side parking, making it easy to access.

With its diverse and healthy breakfast items, loose-leaf tea, and unique coffee choices, it's the perfect place to start your day in Rapid City.

The Bestro

I recently decided to treat myself to a lunch special at The Bestro that I saw advertised on Facebook.

The bacon, guacamole grilled cheese sandwich with broccoli cheese soup caught my eye, and I just couldn't resist.

When I got there, I found out they had wild mushroom soup instead of broccoli cheese, but I decided to give it a try.

The sandwich was delicious and filling, and the soup was pretty good too.

It was a bit on the expensive side at almost $15 for the soup and sandwich, but I appreciated the quality of the meal and the packaging it came in for my to-go order.

One thing I especially liked was the fact that they gave me a number and brought the food to my table when it was ready instead of just calling my name for me to pick it up at the counter.

The service was quick and friendly, and I didn't have to wait long for my meal.

As a fan of healthy and delicious options, I can vouch for their soups, salads, and sandwiches.

Plus, their pastries are not only scrumptious but also a feast for the eyes.

I've been a regular at Sumo Japanese Kitchen for quite some time now.

Being a fan of Japanese cuisine, I can vouch for the authenticity and quality of their dishes.

One thing I love about this place is its sushi bar with creative rolls.

The sushi chefs are indeed very skilled, and I can't help but keep coming back for more.

Another dish I highly recommend is their Gyoza – simply delicious!

The restaurant itself is clean and cozy, perfect for a casual night out with friends or family.

Although the inside decor could use a bit of improvement, and they could add more tables, the overall ambiance is quite pleasant.

They also offer some amazing appetizers like the crab rangoons, which are served in a thin and crispy pastry.

Black Hills Bagels

One thing I absolutely love about living here is having Black Hills Bagels just around the corner.

This Western-themed, casual joint offers a fantastic variety of creative bagel and cream cheese flavors, sandwiches, and coffee, perfect for starting my day on a delicious note.

Their cream cheese options are truly what sets them apart, making their bagel sandwiches an irresistible treat.

My partner and I can never get enough of their food, and the fact that we can get two bagel sandwiches and a scrumptious cappuccino for just $30 is always a pleasant surprise.

One of my favorite things they offer is their chocolate chunk bagel, which I had to try during one of my visits.

The place has a quaint vibe, with both take-out and table service available.

As someone who loves exploring local restaurants in my city, I stumbled upon El Nevado and was blown away by their amazing tacos.

Located in South Dakota, this gem is definitely a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican food.

My first time eating at El Nevado, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home.

Their pork tamales were to die for, and I couldn't get enough of their fresh chips and salsa.

The dining area was clean and inviting, and I absolutely loved their house-made hot sauce – just the right amount of spice to kick things up a notch.

Blaze Pizza

One of my go-to places for a delicious and healthier pizza option in Rapid City is definitely Blaze Pizza.

When it comes to the pizzas, I'm a fan of their build-your-own option, and I usually go for the regular tomato sauce, as the hot tomato sauce can pack quite a punch, even for my high heat tolerance.

On my last visit, I decided to try their cauliflower crust for the first time, and I was blown away!

It was so crispy, had a delightful melt-in-your-mouth feel, and the flavor was just excellent.

I've also tried the vegan cheesy bread, and it was nothing short of incredible.

The service at Blaze Pizza has always been delightful, and the prices are fair, even when I load up my pizza with various toppings.

Bokujo Ramen

I recently went to Bokujo Ramen for dinner, and let me tell you, it was the best decision I've made in a while!

The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by the lively atmosphere.

I couldn't wait to try their ramen as I had heard great things about it.

The menu was pretty diverse, but I decided to go for the pork and beef ramen.

The presentation of the dish itself was amazing, and the taste was even better.

The ramen was outstanding, and the egg was cooked to perfection.

I was truly blown away by the quality of their food.

Thai Thai Restaurant

For years, one of my favorite places to eat is Thai Thai Restaurant.

Every time I visit, I'm always impressed by the delicious food and friendly service.

The last time I went, the restaurant was quite busy, but I still managed to find a table.

I was starving, so I was really happy with how quickly the food arrived.

Every dish was served hot and tasted amazing, except for the shrimp in the fried rice and fried shrimp appetizer, which wasn't my favorite.

On my last visit, I tried their flavorful soup with a steaming hot broth and the basil fried rice which was so satisfyingly tasty.

The egg rolls were crispy and cooked to perfection, a great starter for any meal.

One of the highlights of my dining experience at Thai Thai Restaurant is their Massaman curry with chicken and Pad Thai.

These dishes are always packed with flavor and just the right amount of spiciness.

I usually pair my meal with Thai iced tea, which is a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant.

Jambonz Deux

As someone who loves a good Cajun dish, I always find myself coming back to Jambonz Deux whenever I have a craving.

The narrow, red-hued space never fails to put me in a cheerful mood with its jazz-themed decor and upbeat atmosphere.

I must say, the service here has always been super friendly, and I've had the pleasure of listening to some great acoustic musicians during my visits.

The food, for the most part, has been a delightful experience.

The sleek and contemporary ambiance of this restaurant always sets the perfect tone for breakfast or dinner with family and friends.

My experiences at Tally's have overall been great, with fast and friendly service.

The food is definitely a highlight, offering big portions of delicious, high-quality dishes.

I remember being particularly impressed by the French dip, which I'd highly recommend with cheese.

The side salad it came with was also fresh and satisfying.

One thing that really sets Tally's Silver Spoon apart is their amazing deal on mimosa carafes - only $9!

It's perfect for a weekend brunch with friends, and it really adds to the overall dining experience.

The cafe is known for its humble ambiance and delicious Vietnamese dishes, such as pho, rice noodles, and stir-fries.

As I walked in, I immediately noticed how clean and well-kept the place was, and the staff greeted me with warmth and friendliness.

I started my meal with their spring rolls and Thai tea, which were nothing short of amazing.

The spring rolls were easily one of the best I've ever had!

For the main course, I ordered the General Tso chicken, while my friend opted for the Pad Thai.

The portion sizes were generous, and the taste was simply fantastic.

We happily packed the leftovers to enjoy later at home.

One of my favorite places to grab a bite in the area is Michelle's Tacos.

The food is always delicious, and the staff is super friendly.

I first discovered this gem a while ago and have been hooked ever since.

The salsa bar is a great addition, allowing you to customize your meal with freshly made salsas, onions, cilantro, and limes.

My personal favorite is the spicier salsa with a nice kick to it.

The free chips and salsa they provide are also a nice touch.

Himalayan Kitchen

I had heard rave reviews about Himalayan Kitchen from a few friends, so I decided to give it a try.

As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was impressed by the modest and cozy ambiance.

As a huge fan of spicy food, I was intrigued by the waiter's question of whether I wanted my food "American hot" or "really hot."

Naturally, I chose the latter, and I absolutely loved the rich, bold flavors that reminded me of my travels in South Asia.

The Tandoori pepper chicken was particularly outstanding, with its smoky aroma and tender, juicy texture.

Another delightful aspect of the meal was the dessert – the payesh.

It was hands-down the best I've had in America, and I've visited quite a few temples over the years.
