19 Best Restaurants in Prescott Valley, AZ

I have been lucky enough to call Prescott Valley, Arizona, my home for quite some time now, and one of the things that I absolutely love about living here is the incredible variety of delicious restaurants.

So, if you find yourself in the area and in search of a memorable meal, join me as I take you through some of my favorite restaurants in Prescott Valley, Arizona, that you simply must try.

Jen's 7th Ave. Cafe

Whenever I feel like having a delicious breakfast or brunch in the neighborhood, I head to Jen's 7th Ave. Cafe.

I must say, the food here never disappoints.

I've tried their breakfast combo, chicken fried steak combo, and the maverick omelet – all of them were cooked well and tasted perfect!

The portions are generous, and the prices are just right, which is quite rare these days.

One of the things that I truly appreciate about this place is their dog-friendly patio and excellent wheelchair accessibility.

It's always great to see a café that caters to the needs of its diverse customers.

However, I do have to admit that sometimes the service could be a little better.

Their French toast with blueberries is a must-try, offering just the right amount of tart-to-sweet ratio.

And if you're in the mood for something savory, their biscuits and gravy are simply divine.

Taqueria Don Omar

One of my favorite spots in Prescott for Mexican food has got to be Taqueria Don Omar.

I remember the first time I walked in, the aroma of savory foods instantly made my mouth water.

I love their small and easy menu with a handful of delicious choices.

The meat is always tasty and well-prepared, and the produce is crisp and fresh.

The tortillas taste homemade, and I can't get enough of them.

They also have some Mexican juices and a selection of bottled sodas, which adds to the authentic feel of the place.

I often go for their $12 deal, which includes three Asada tacos and a bottled soda.

It may seem like a big price at first, but trust me, the food is so fresh and delicious that it's worth every penny.

I've tried their Quesatwist as well, and the Asada flavor is just amazing!

Carlitos Café and Coffee House

Every time I have friends visiting in town, I make sure to take them to Carlitos Café and Coffee House.

It has become my go-to breakfast spot.

Last weekend, I decided to try their Papas con Huevos, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations.

My partner and I also ordered lattes and found them exceptional, as they brew Prescott Coffee Roasters.

The café is quite spacious, making it easy for groups to sit comfortably.

Apart from the warm atmosphere, the quality and authenticity of their food are what keep me coming back.

Even my Mexican partner loves their dishes, which is a rare thing.

We've tried several menu items, and everything tastes homemade and delicious.

Their customer service is something that I must mention as well - unmatched and always friendly.

Recently, I had a Café Latte at Carlitos, which turned out to be delicious as expected.

I am proud to support this lovely, relaxing place - which also has been voted for best Pesole!

Toi's Thai Kitchen

I stumbled upon Toi's Thai Kitchen a while back when I was exploring the area off Highway 89, and it has since become one of my favorite local spots.

The seafood curry and shrimp rolls are to die for, and the satay chicken is a must-try as well.

My go-to dish is the chicken pad Thai with a spice level that's just right for me.

My partner, on the other hand, loves experimenting with different dishes, and every single one has been amazing.

Even though we frequent the place, we never skip our favorite appetizer, the pot stickers.

And, of course, we always leave room for their heavenly mango sticky rice dessert.

Another delightful treat is their Thai tea, which is simply delicious.

If you're looking for a place to dine with the family, Toi's Thai Kitchen is an excellent choice.

They offer a kids' orange chicken dish that's not like any typical chain restaurant version.

It's served with an incredible orange sauce and a side of rice, which is always a hit with our little ones.

Although it's on the pricier side, the portions are generous, and the quality of the food is worth every penny.

Whenever I'm in the mood for some mouthwatering BBQ, I head over to COLT Grill, BBQ & Spirits.

This cozy joint specializes in smoked briskets, grilled burgers, signature cocktails, and beer.

They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and the food is simply out of this world.

The last time I visited, I ordered the smoked BBQ chicken sandwich, and let me tell you, it was amazing.

My friend went for the Philly cheesesteak, and he couldn't stop raving about it.

We also tried the smoked mac and cheese, which was surprisingly tasty, given that it must have been made in bulk.

I must mention the house sauces – they really add a unique and tasty twist to the dishes.

I can confidently say that Uncle Bud's Place is an absolute gem.

Every time I walk into this cozy little joint, I'm greeted with warm hospitality and the mouthwatering aroma of their signature Cajun dishes.

You can check their website here for their menu and other details.

I've tried many items on their menu, and they never fail to impress.

I particularly love their jerk chicken, which is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.

My significant other is a big fan of their smoked beef, and we both can't get enough of their potato and cheese soup – it's simply unforgettable.

Uncle Bud's Place may be small, but it's packed with history and the warmest atmosphere you could ask for.

They have a limited number of seats, but the management always seems to find a way to accommodate you.

And let's not forget their enormous portions: the three-meat meal, complete with two sides, can easily feed up to three people.

My personal favorite side has to be their potato salad, which- as I've been told- has been a perfect recipe for over 50 years.

Papa's Italian Restaurant (Prescott)

I decided to try out Papa's Italian Restaurant after hearing rave reviews from friends and neighbors.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and cozy atmosphere that felt like an authentic Italian mom-and-pop restaurant.

The complimentary bread and minestrone soup were delightful starters, with the soup being so delicious that I couldn't believe Mama spends three hours simmering it each day.

For my main course, I ordered the Portobello Mushroom Ravioli, and let me tell you – it was absolutely divine.

The chewy and flavorful mushrooms were perfectly complemented by a rich cheese sauce that had me using every last piece of bread to soak it up.

My friend ordered the Chicken Prosciutto, and even though he didn't want to share, I could tell from the size of the portion and his satisfied expression that it was a hit.

We finished off the meal with a unique Cassava Cake, which was a delightful blend of lemon, cream, cherries, and chocolate chips.

We decided to indulge in a variety of their scrumptious menu items, including the smoked salmon Benedict, smoked salmon bruschetta, chorizo hash, and lemon ricotta pancakes.

As a primarily plant-based family, it was refreshing to find a local spot with diverse options to cater to our dietary preferences.

My mom couldn't stop raving about the Benedict, claiming it was the best she had ever tasted.

Not only was the food delectable, but they also had the most amazing drink options.

The Bloody Mary was exquisite, and I couldn't resist trying their Mimosa Flight.

What I appreciate most about Maya is that it caters to a variety of dietary restrictions, making it perfect for my family, which includes vegans and vegetarians.

The service is always friendly, and the food is nothing short of outstanding.

My personal favorite is the potato and eggplant burrito, but I've also enjoyed the cactus dish.

With only about a dozen tables, the atmosphere is intimate, and the service is very personable.

Just a heads up - their salsa is incredibly spicy.

I find it a bit too much for my taste, but some may enjoy the heat.

As for the rest of the food, the guacamole is delicious with its diced onions and tomatoes, although it could use a touch more salt.

I recommend trying the shrimp enchilada style, as it's truly fabulous with large shrimp and great flavor.

The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was as amazing as the flavors.

I opted for the Shrimp Scampi, and as always, it did not disappoint!

The authenticity of the dishes truly sets this place apart from other Italian restaurants in town.

Though they don't serve alcohol, you're more than welcome to bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal, which I did.
