As a true lover of authentic Puerto Rican food, I couldn't be happier to have discovered Sabor a Mi Tierra, in my neighborhood.

Everything I've tried at Sabor a Mi Tierra has been nothing short of amazing.
The alcapurrias took me back to my childhood, and the pernil was so tender and flavorful that I couldn't help but do a little happy dance with each bite.
Their trifongo, a mix of green plantain, sweet plantain, and yuca, is a must-try, and the shrimp version I had was simply divine.
They also offer a variety of empanadas, including chicken, beef, and even pizza, which were all kid-approved.
One of my favorite discoveries at Sabor a Mi Tierra has to be their tostones de pana.
These brought back memories of my grandmother's cooking and truly made me feel like I was back in Puerto Rico.
And if you happen to visit on a Friday or Saturday, make sure to try their pinchos (kabobs).
The chicken kabob I had was all meat, no veggies, and absolutely delicious.
Last but not least, you can't leave without trying their desserts.
The flan de queso (cheese custard dessert) and flan de coco (coconut custard dessert) are both homemade and heavenly, with the coconut flan being the best I've ever tasted.

I started with the bread appetizer and the cream spread, which was so good I found myself dipping my fries in it, too!
For the main course, I went with the Schnitzel Club Sandwich.
It was fantastic, and the fries were crispy, salty, and hot.
I couldn't say no to dessert, so I tried the Apple Strudel with ice cream.
It was heavenly, and I highly recommend making room for it.
The menu prices were modest, and the food was well worth it.
The place also offers an array of wines and beers, adding to the overall cozy and enjoyable experience.
Lime Tequila
Last weekend, my friends and I decided to check out Lime Tequila for dinner, and we were not disappointed!
I decided to indulge in Adel's Special (bacon-wrapped shrimp) and a cheese enchilada while my friend raved about her chicken dish.
The food was absolutely scrumptious, and the prices were quite reasonable too.
An amusing highlight of the night was their unique and interesting restroom, complete with a very cool toilet.

One of my favorite spots has to be Royal India Authentic Indian Restaurant.
