If there's one thing I've come to love about living in Orem, Utah, it's the incredible variety of delicious food we have at our fingertips.

From mouthwatering BBQ joints to authentic Thai cuisine, there's something to cater to every taste bud in this amazing city.

I've had the pleasure of dining at many of its delightful establishments, and I can't wait to share some of my all-time favorites with you.

So, without further ado, let's embark on a culinary journey through the best restaurants in Orem, Utah, where every bite is sure to leave you craving more.

Ombu

The other night, I finally got around to trying out Ombu with some friends.

We had heard great things about it, and I must say, it lived up to our expectations.

What stood out to me was the cooking element at each table, adding a unique and intriguing experience to our dinner.

I had been craving calamari for a while, and I was not disappointed by Ombu's offering.

It was absolutely delicious!

I also tried their bibimbop, and it was equally fantastic.

My friends and I shared the signature beef tenderloin, which we cooked ourselves on the table's built-in grill.

The tenderness of the meat was unparalleled - it must have been the marinade.

The portions were quite generous, so I would recommend coming with a group to try out more items before getting too full.

During our visit, we were all impressed by the food quality, service, facilities, and reasonable pricing.

We even tried their boba drinks, which were a delightful surprise.

Sweet Avocado

I absolutely love discovering Brazilian restaurants around the area.

My first visit to Sweet Avocado left me pleasantly surprised.

I ordered a variety of dishes to give you a detailed review of my experience.

The Brazilian waffle cheese bread was a 10/10!

It was such an innovative and delicious take on the classic pão de queijo.

The outside was just crispy enough, while the inside was perfectly chewy.

I can't recommend the pastel and esfihas enough – both were a 10/10!

The shredded chicken with catupiry cream pastel made me feel like I was back in Brazil.

The esfihas were such a rare find in Utah, and I loved every flavor I tried, especially the Nutella, Romeo + Juliet, and shredded chicken.

The dough was incredibly light and airy, making them a delightful treat.

The service at Sweet Avocado was also outstanding.

Kluck's Krispy Chicken

Last week, I decided to finally give Kluck's Krispy Chicken a try after hearing rave reviews from friends and coworkers.

As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the clean dining room and the good vibe of the place.

I went for their extra spicy crispy chicken sandwich, substituting the secret sauce for the ranch, and made it a combo with regular fries.

I have a soft spot for spicy food, and this sandwich did not disappoint.

It was crispy, fresh, and perfectly spicy!

The fries were also crispy and a great addition to the meal.

It's clear that they care about the quality of their products and the satisfaction of their customers.

Holy Taco

Oh my goodness, I can't tell you how much I love going to Holy Taco for a meal.

Their Al Pastor tacos are to die for, and honestly, I believe they are the best ones in Utah.

The atmosphere is so fun and chill, making it a perfect spot for a lunch gathering with friends or even a casual date.

And the best part?

The entire meal usually costs under $10 per person, including tax and tip!

The menu is pretty simple, but they specialize in pork-based bites and Mexican sodas, which is all you really need when you're craving some delicious tacos.

I've also tried their gringas, and they were equally delightful.

Mixturas Fusion

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mixturas Fusion, and I must say that it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town.

I tried their shrimp batayaki, and it was truly remarkable - the butter sauce was like nothing I'd ever tasted before.

It had a hint of cinnamon or nutmeg, which may sound strange, but trust me, it was absolutely delightful.

It came with sweet potato, and some interesting side garnishes that I couldn't quite identify but were delicious nonetheless.

I also tried their take on fettuccine, which, in my opinion, was far superior to the typical bland noodles you'd find at other Italian restaurants.

The dish was served with juicy, nicely browned meat on top, which made it even better.

The service was great, and the fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavors made for an exceptional dining experience.

Asa Ramen

Whenever I'm in the mood for a comforting bowl of ramen, I head over to Asa Ramen.

This straightforward Asian restaurant may be small and unassuming, but it's perfect for satisfying my cravings for hearty bowls of ramen noodle soup.

I usually order the tonkotsu, which is delicious, even if it doesn't have all the traditional toppings like fish cake.

One of my favorite things about Asa Ramen is their amazing pot stickers.

They're perfectly crispy on the bottom with well-seasoned pork inside.

It's hard to resist ordering a plate of gyoza every time I go.

Tamashi Ramen in Orem is my go-to spot for delicious and authentic ramen.

Joe's Cafe

I recently decided to stop by Joe's Cafe for breakfast, and I'm glad I did.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The walls were adorned with photographs, giving the place a charming and homey feel.

My order was served within 15 minutes, which was quite impressive.

I tried the breakfast burrito, and the hash browns were definitely the highlight of the dish.

In addition, I decided to sample their pastrami sandwich, which boasted a delicious combination of grilled onions, pastrami, and cheese, all housed between two pieces of crunchy bread.

The accompanying chips and pickle spear were great additions to the meal.

Lomito's Restaurant

As I was craving some good Latin American food, I decided to give Lomito's Restaurant a try.

Located in a cozy shop within a strip mall, this place serves up a delightful selection of Chilean, Argentinian, and Mexican sandwiches.

I enjoyed the fact that you can choose to eat in or take out, depending on your preference.

From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was welcomed by a friendly cashier who was more than happy to help me with my order.

I opted for their queso con jamon empanada and pino horno empanada, both of which were absolutely delicious.

The food was prepared quickly, allowing me to satisfy my hunger without having to wait too long.

One thing I really appreciated about Lomito's was the cleanliness and inviting atmosphere.

The interior was well-maintained, and the restrooms were spotless.

Shoga Sushi Bar

I recently tried out Shoga Sushi Bar with a couple of friends, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience.

From the moment we walked in, I could tell that this place takes their sushi seriously.

The stylish space, with its modern décor, instantly caught my eye, and I was excited to try their range of sushi, noodles, and stir-fries.

They also offer sake and imported beers, which only added to the experience.

We decided to order a variety of items to share, including the Rock & Roll, Salmon Crunch, and Vegas roll, as well as squid salads and some drinks.

The presentation of the sushi was beautiful, and each piece was bursting with flavor.

I was impressed with the quality of the fish and the creativity of the roll combinations.

The service was fast and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

One thing I must mention is the ambiance of the restaurant.

It was decorated for Valentine's Day with real roses on the table, which made the atmosphere even more romantic and cozy.

I've heard from others that they also have great veggie roll options for those with dietary restrictions, so it seems like there's something for everyone at Shoga.

Savory Thai Orem

I've been to Savory Thai Orem on a few occasions, and it has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in the area.

The atmosphere at this Thai eatery is tranquil, and I love the option of lanai seating when the weather is nice.

It's perfect for a relaxed date night or a quiet dinner with friends.

One of the highlights of this restaurant is its extensive menu that caters to different dietary preferences, including some delicious vegetarian options.

I can't get enough of their Pad Thai noodles and flavorful curries.

I'm also a fan of their spring rolls, which are a must-try appetizer!

The lunch menu at Savory Thai Orem is particularly fantastic, offering a variety of dishes at an affordable price.

I appreciate the quick service, allowing me to enjoy a great meal during my lunch break without feeling rushed.

Although I've heard mixed reviews about the service during evening hours, I've personally had a pleasant experience each time I've visited.

MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company

As a frequent visitor to MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company, I can confidently say that this place is great for Neapolitan pizza.

I've found the Italian soda to be particularly delicious.

Just a heads up, though, this isn't really a kid-friendly place – it leans more towards a quiet, upscale ambiance.

One of my most recent visits to MidiCi had me trying out their barbecue pizza and the truffle prosciutto pizza.

Both were delicious, with the truffle prosciutto standing out for its fresh ingredients.

Pho Plus

One of my favorite places to grab a delicious and satisfying meal in town has to be Pho Plus.

I've been coming here with my colleagues and friends for quite some time now, and it never disappoints.

My usual order is the number 11, and I must say, their noodle soups are fantastic.

The broth is light and flavorful, which I really appreciate.

Not only do they serve amazing pho, but they also have a great selection of boba drinks and Vietnamese staples like Banh Mi.

Whenever I dine in, I make sure to start with their spring rolls as an appetizer.

They're always fresh, and I just can't get enough of them!

The ambiance at Pho Plus is bright and casual, making it a perfect spot for a quick and tasty meal.

Yummy's

My friends and I have gone to Yummy's Korean BBQ & Sushi several times now, and it never disappoints.

We recently tried their sushi-making class, which was both entertaining and educational.

During our regular visits, we usually go for the lunch All You Can Eat (AYCE) option, which offers a variety of options and side dishes at a more affordable price point than dinner.

The galbi pork, spicy bulgogi, and garlic chicken are some of our favorites.

We also love the God Bless America, and Rainbow rolls from their sushi menu.

Thai Evergreen

My go-to spot for delicious Thai food has always been Thai Evergreen.

It's a hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you - the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere and the mouth-watering aroma of their dishes.

I have to concur with the reviews - the Pad Thai is definitely the best in town!

It has just the right balance of flavors and is cooked to perfection.

I've tried other Thai places in Utah, but Thai Evergreen has won my heart.

Aside from the Pad Thai, I highly recommend their curry and soup dishes.

It really does feel like eating homemade comfort food, and I'm always left satisfied after each visit.

Even when bringing friends or going on a date, everyone I've introduced to Thai Evergreen has become a fan.

Other Restaurants Nearby

Keloke Dominican Restaurant (Provo)

It's not always easy to find authentic Latin Caribbean food that truly captures the island flavors.

That's why I was absolutely thrilled when I discovered Keloke Dominican Restaurant in Provo.

This cozy, cafe-style spot offers, by far, the best Latin Caribbean cuisine I've tasted in Utah.

It's a bit of a drive from Salt Lake City, but trust me, it's worth it!

The moment I walked in, I could tell there would be no bland or pre-packaged flavors - everything is cooked to perfection, and the dishes are bursting with incredible flavor.

I was blown away by the Mofongo with Chicharron, which was just incredible.

The Pollo Guisado was tender and tasty, while the Roasted Chicken was cooked to absolute perfection.

The costillas (ribs) were fall-off-the-bone delicious, and the sides (moro con gandules, white rice and beans, macaroni salad, potato salad, and green salad) didn't disappoint.

One of my favorite dishes was their chicharron & tostones (Fried Pork Belly & sliced plantains).

The chicharron's crispy exterior and moist, steaming interior had an amazing flavor that was truly addictive.

And the tostones were fried and salted to perfection - a perfect snack or side dish.

Tandoor Indian Grill - Provo

I've had the pleasure of dining at Tandoor Indian Grill multiple times, and I must say it's one of my favorite restaurants around.

The food is consistently excellent, and the service is incredible.

I can't recommend this place enough for anyone who loves Indian cuisine or wants to try something new.

The frilled meats were tender and flavorful.

The lassi is also a must-try!

Lovely Pho (Provo)

One of my go-to spots in town for a warm, comforting meal is Lovely Pho.

Whenever we dine there, my family loves customizing our bowls of pho; the variety of ingredients and the delicious broth always hits the spot.

I also recommend their chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and won tons.

If you're in the mood for something sweet, don't skip their Mango Smoothie or the blended Strawberry Lemonade – they're absolutely divine!

My partner and I have been to Lovely Pho over a dozen times, and it never disappoints.

We usually get a fried rice plate and a bowl of pho to share, and every time, both dishes are consistently amazing.

The pho is always filling, and you even have the option to pay extra for a larger portion.

Although some of the appetizers may have smaller portions compared to the entrees, they are still delicious.

I highly recommend dining in, as the food is fresher and the pho stays hotter.

Lovely Pho is truly a gem in Provo, and I'm grateful to have such a delightful spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine right here in our neighborhood.

Block Restaurant

One of my favorite spots to dine in the city is Block Restaurant.

I visit this amazing restaurant at least once a month, and every time, I am blown away by the quality of the food and the attentive service.

Block Restaurant's farm-to-table cuisine never disappoints, with flavors that are both incredibly fresh and authentic.

The way they create such unique and savory dishes is truly impressive.

The atmosphere at Block Restaurant is always bustling, which is a testament to its popularity.

Sometimes there might be a long wait, but trust me, it's well worth it!

The ambiance is cool and inviting, with an open kitchen that allows you to see the magic happening as they prepare your meal.

Shoots Chinese Restaurant (Provo)

Just last week, I went to Shoots Chinese Restaurant for a nice dinner with my family.

This cozy and relaxed eatery, tucked away in a shopping center, serves up delicious Chinese bites, lunch specials, and even kids' meals.

I had heard good things about their Tangerine Chicken, so I decided to give it a try.

I was amazed at how flavorful it was, and it has now become my go-to dish there!

We also tried their Sweet and Sour dish and the crab cakes, which were equally scrumptious.

I was a little disappointed with the chow mein, so I'd recommend skipping that one.

I had also heard that the weekend wait times can be quite long, but we made a reservation in advance, which proved to be a smart move.

I especially loved their unique take on "chips and salsa" - crispy squares served with sweet and sour sauce.

It's something I haven't seen at other Chinese restaurants, and it was a nice touch.

Their hot and sour soup and the eggplant dish were also fantastic.
