Just recently, I was craving some authentic Thai food in town and stumbled upon Pailin Thai Cuisine.
Trust me, it did not disappoint!
Located right across the street from Moore High School on 4th Street in Moore, this cozy little restaurant offers traditional Thai dishes like pad Thai, beef rendang, and yellow curry in a homey, leafy space with a shop.
The decor of the place was pleasant and calming, perfect to unwind after a long day.
As a big fan of Thai green curry, I was delighted to find that theirs tasted incredibly close to what I had experienced in Thailand.
The spicy squid was another standout dish, packing quite the punch for those who love a good dose of heat.
One of the things that impressed me the most was the value for money.
My meal, which included an entrée, appetizer, Thai tea, and cola, came out to be less than $100 before tip.
I even had some leftovers to enjoy later at home!
Chef Dee's Creations
I had been eagerly waiting for Chef Dee's Creations to open in Moore.
So, when I heard that their new location had just opened, I couldn't resist dropping by with my family to check it out.
We got there around 3 pm, and the place was already buzzing with patrons enjoying their meals at a few tables.
We found a spot near the television to catch the basketball game while waiting for our orders.
My family and I decided to try out the garlic wings and the famous Sauced Up Fries.
Let me tell you, as a sauce lover, these fries had everything I could ask for - they were savory, tangy, sweet, and had just the right amount of spice.
The garlic wings were also a hit, with their crispy skin and perfect saucing.
It's safe to say that we'll be coming back for more of these saucy delights in the future.
To wash down the meal, I grabbed a can of root beer, which ended up being the perfect accompaniment for the flavors in the food.
It even brought back some nostalgic memories for me.
Bella's Pizzeria
Oh, what a treat it is to have a place like Bella's Pizzeria in our town!
The other night, I decided to try their pizza after hearing lots of good things about it from friends and neighbors.
I must say, their large pizzas are way bigger than what you would get at Pizza Hut or Domino's.
And they even offer an XL size!
I went with the Taco Pizza and Meat Lovers, along with cheese bread and a salad. Trust me, it was a feast!
The Taco Pizza was probably the best I've ever had, and the sausage on the Meat Lovers was just amazing.
OK Breakfast & Sushi Bar
I've always been a fan of sushi, so I was excited to try out OK Breakfast & Sushi Bar in my neighborhood.
The first thing I noticed was their vast sushi menu, which had quite a few interesting options.
The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was decent for a casual dining spot.
I tried three different sushi rolls, and they were good.
I was also impressed with their Ramen bowls - I got to taste both the spicy pork belly and the chicken teriyaki, and they were fantastic!
The supervolcano roll and gyoza were delicious as well.
One thing that really stood out was the sushi pizza - it was over-the-top delicious and definitely something I would recommend to others.
Tacologia
One of my favorite spots in our community is definitely Tacologia, which has quickly become a local favorite.
Their menu is extensive, including everything from delicious chicken enchiladas to mouthwatering carnitas.
My toddler has been a huge fan of Ray's carnitas for the longest time, and recently, the new kid's bean & cheese burritos have also become a major hit with him!
You can truly taste the love that Ray puts into each dish, making every meal a memorable experience.
A visit to their Facebook page Tacologia will also show you just how much they care about their customers and the quality of their food.
Not only do they serve exceptional Mexican cuisine, but they also offer amazing Sopes, which I haven't been able to find in any other Mexican restaurant in Oklahoma City.
Taqueria El Mexicano
Let me tell you about the best taco truck I've ever had the pleasure of eating from - Taqueria El Mexicano.
I've tried taco trucks from California to Florida, but nothing compares to this gem.
The first time I went there, my partner and I decided to go all out and ordered 70 tacos.
To our surprise, they were ready in under 15 minutes!
Their street tacos are simply out of this world!
My personal favorites are the steak street tacos, but I've also fallen in love with their quesadillas and burritos.
The food always tastes fresh, flavorful, and authentic, making it a true Mexican delight.
The folks working there are always welcoming and helpful when it comes to choosing the best items from their menu.
Bahama Buck's - Moore
I recently went to Bahama Buck's - Moore for the first time, and I must say it was an amazing experience!
With summer just around the corner, I was looking for a refreshing treat, and Bahama Buck's did not disappoint.
My partner and I decided to try their shaved-ice desserts, and we were both blown away by the unique and delicious flavors.
I got the gummy bear flavor, while my partner opted for pina colada, and both were absolutely delightful.
The atmosphere at Bahama Buck's is so laid-back and welcoming, completely embodying the island vibe they're going for.
Each snow cone is beautifully decorated and so Instagram-worthy that I regret not taking a picture of ours.
I also appreciate that Bahama Buck's is open year-round and offers a great rewards program.
Although I haven't been inside the shop, I've been through the drive-thru multiple times, and it's always a clean and efficient experience.
The employees are friendly and fast, making the entire process enjoyable.
One of the highlights of Bahama Buck's is their variety of unique snow cone flavors and toppings.
They recently added flavored pop rocks to their menu, including Pina Colada pop rocks, which sounds absolutely amazing!
GoGo Sushi Express and Grill
As a resident, I can confidently say that GoGo Sushi Express and Grill is one of my favorite spots for a relaxed Japanese meal.
The sushi and sashimi are always fresh, and they offer a variety of other dishes like hibachi, noodle dishes, and tempura.
One thing I particularly appreciate is their consistency.
I've visited both their Moore and Midtown locations multiple times, and I've always received good service, and my food has been served quickly.
Whether I'm in the mood for sushi, appetizers, bento boxes, or hibachi, I know that I'll always get a delicious, satisfying meal at GoGo Sushi.
Volcano Sushi Bar & Hibachi
I can't say enough good things about Volcano Sushi Bar & Hibachi!
This has become my go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying meal.
The contemporary Japanese eatery offers a wide variety of dishes, including grilled-to-order meat entrees, noodles, sushi, and fantastic lunch specials.
The sushi rolls at Volcano are some of the best I've ever had - always fresh and full of flavor.
Plus, their menu has pictures of all the rolls, which makes it so much easier to decide what to try next.
My personal favorite is the Empire roll, but I've honestly never had a bad roll here. And let's not forget their tasty appetizers, like the fried squid and mussels. I think I could eat those every day!
They're always so friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home.
Even when the restaurant gets busy, the service remains fast and efficient.
The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, making it the perfect place to grab a bite with friends or family or pick up some rolls to go after a long day at work.
Jet's NY Slice
As someone who frequently visits Jet's NY Slice, I can confidently say that their menu never disappoints.
Whenever I dine here, I ensure I try something different each time.
One thing I love about this place is how fresh their salads are, and they even make it tailored to your liking.
But let's not forget about the star of the show - the pizza! It's truly the best pizza I've ever had, and trust me, I've tasted a lot of pizzas in my life.
Aside from the food, the ambiance at Jet's NY Slice is great too.
Ray's BBQ
Last weekend, I decided to give Ray's BBQ a try, and boy, I was not disappointed!
My partner and I both opted for the 4 rib dinner, which was quite affordable at only $14.99.
The ribs were tender, juicy, and full of flavor without being too overpowering.
What really stood out to me was their regular sauce – it was so good that I found myself dipping my fries in it!
Speaking of fries, they were top-notch and crispy, reminiscent of British fish and chips.
The collard greens I ordered on the side were the best I've ever had, with a perfect amount of spice.
To my surprise, our 4 rib dinners actually came with 5 ribs each!

Their pulled pork and beef really come to life with their delectable sauce – although I wouldn't recommend drinking it!

Las Bandidas Mexican Restaurant
I can't believe it took me so long to discover Las Bandidas Mexican Restaurant in my own neighborhood!
It's been around for three years now, and I only went there for the first time a few weeks ago.
I was so impressed that I decided to go back again just last week.
This family-run restaurant has quickly become a new favorite of mine, and let me tell you why.
The food at Las Bandidas is simply delicious. I've tried their flautas, albondigas, guiso ranchero, and even their queso with grilled jalapeños – all of which were excellent.
I do like to add a bit of salt to the salsa, but that's just my personal preference.
Their prices are quite reasonable too, which is always a plus.
But what really stands out to me is the friendly and warm atmosphere.
I've even seen them joking and laughing with other customers who are regulars there, which just goes to show the kind of rapport they've built with their clientele.
Panang 7 Thai Restaurant
I keep going back to Panang 7 Thai Restaurant for their delicious Thai dishes.
One of my favorite things to order there is their veggie fried rice and veggie spring rolls.
They offer a generous portion of fried rice packed with an assortment of veggies.
The spring rolls are fried to perfection, not greasy at all, and come with a delightfully sweet and tangy dipping sauce.
The meal also comes with a small salad dressed in a light vinaigrette that adds a refreshing touch to the dining experience.
I also appreciate that they accommodate my preference for spice levels (1-5), so I can get my Pad Thai and Papaya salad just the way I like it.
The Evil Jungle Curry is another must-try, as it has the right amount of warmth without being overwhelmingly spicy.
My friends and I also love their Cashew Chicken and Beef Basil dishes.
Hidalgo's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina
I just can't get enough of Hidalgo's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina here in Moore, Oklahoma.
My partner and I have made it a tradition to visit this lively restaurant every Thursday.
We always look forward to the freshness of their food and the warm atmosphere that makes us feel at home.
One of the things that keeps us coming back week after week is the surprising speed at which our meals are served.

I've had the pleasure of trying their shrimp tacos with garlic aioli and their special pineapple taco - both were mouth-watering and left me wanting more!
Their nachos are also a favorite of mine, though they do tend to get soggy if not eaten quickly.
My partner and I recently visited Fuzzy's to celebrate National Margarita Day and enjoyed their 18oz classic margaritas, which were served in frozen glass schooners.
It truly added to the festive atmosphere of the day.
Their nachos are generously topped, the tacos are well-portioned, and their sides, like black beans and cilantro-lime rice, are solid.
I'm particularly fond of their mango margarita and the brisket nachos.
Hideaway Pizza in Moore
Last weekend, my family and I decided to satisfy our pizza cravings and headed to Hideaway Pizza in Moore.
The place was bustling but not too loud, making it an enjoyable spot to catch up and relax.
We started with some appetizers — Buffalo wings, fried mushrooms, and cheesy bread.
All were incredible and made us excited for the main event.
For our pizzas, we went with pepperoni and the hurricane.

I have always been a fan of teriyaki dishes, and I must say that Krave Teriyaki has become one of my favorite spots in town.
Located conveniently on my way in and out of OKC, I find myself stopping by quite often.
The food is always fantastic, and the service is fast, which is perfect for someone like me who's always on the go.
I absolutely love their menu, specifically their top favs section, as it simplifies the decision-making process for me.
The first time I dined at Krave Teriyaki, I ordered the garlic butter chicken bites, and they were beyond impressive in taste.
I couldn't help myself but order some more to go.
On another visit, I tried the stir fry chicken teriyaki with veggies and salmon teriyaki, and both dishes were equally delicious.
Royal Bavaria
As someone who lives nearby, I can't help but rave about Royal Bavaria, a hidden gem in rural Oklahoma.
I've dined there with friends and family several times, and every visit has been a delightful experience.

Just the other day, my friends and I decided to grab a bite at Eagle One Pizza, our go-to spot for mouth-watering pizzas.
We've been coming here for almost a decade now, and I must say it never disappoints.
It's a cozy shopping-center pizzeria, and I love the simplicity of ordering at the counter.
Now, let me tell you about their pizzas.
Last time, I got a large thin-crust pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, Canadian bacon, bacon, gyro meat, and onion, and it was undoubtedly one of the best I've ever had.
The best part about Eagle One is that you can get as many toppings as you want for a set price - it's such a great deal!
And if you're in the mood for something else, their gyros are to die for. Trust me, you won't find a better gyro anywhere else.
Plus, their delivery is lightning-fast when you don't feel like going out.
Pub W
Last week, I decided to give Pub W a try, and I must say, I was not disappointed.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
I chose to sit at the bar, and the bartender was extremely helpful, offering me my choice of vodka and ensuring I got exactly what I wanted.
The food came out quickly and was incredibly fresh.
I thoroughly enjoyed their Squashpuppies, which were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious.
The honey butter and pepper jelly really elevated the dish.
For my main course, I tried the chicken & brie sandwich, which had a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.
Crab and Catfish Co
I finally decided to give Crab and Catfish Co a try, and I must say, the experience was a mix of highs and lows.
The catfish was hands down some of the best I've ever tasted, and the shrimp was quite good too.
The butter sauce they served with the crab was delicious.
However, I was not impressed with the crab itself; it was cold, chewy, and difficult to open with the plastic tool they provided.
Another letdown was the unseasoned french fries that lacked any flavor.
Despite these hiccups, the service was excellent, and I found the menu to be easy to understand.
The prices seemed a bit steep at first, but considering the amount of food I received, it was actually quite reasonable.
Bee Healthy Cafe (South Western)
I recently visited the Bee Healthy Cafe in South Western, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised!
The food was absolutely delicious, and I genuinely enjoyed everything I ate.
The Spicy Club Melt and Orange Strawberry Banana smoothie were to die for!
A friend of mine also recommended their salmon quinoa bowl and had a great experience with that particular dish.
China Delight
Being a local resident, I have been to China Delight a few times for some freshly cooked Chinese food.
The food here is always excellent, and it is worth making plans to stop by whenever I'm near the city.
It's no wonder I travel from the north side to the south side just for the quality of food they offer.
The prices are also reasonable.
It's also impressive that they're willing to cook dishes not on their menu - all you have to do is ask, and they'll let you know if they can make it for you.
Stuffed Olive
One of my favorite places to grab a delicious and satisfying lunch in the city is Stuffed Olive.
Just last week, I decided to go there after work, and I was reminded why I keep coming back.
I opted for the Turkey Tuscany sandwich with a side of Caesar BLT salad, and it was heavenly!
The ingredients were fresh, and every bite was packed with flavor.
While enjoying my meal, I couldn't help but notice several customers coming in to pick up their take-home family meals.
It's great to see that Stuffed Olive offers such convenient options for busy families too.
