Just the other day, I decided to give Bourbon Street Po-Boyz a try and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight!
As soon as I walked in, I could tell that this place was something special.
I was amazed by his dedication and passion for his craft.
I had heard great things about their shrimp po-boy, so I decided to order one for myself.
While waiting for my food, I noticed that the place was spotless and had a beautiful ambiance.
When I finally got my hands on that delicious sandwich, my taste buds were in heaven!

After my satisfying meal, I took half of my shrimp po-boy home to share with my family.

As I took a seat at the bar top, I couldn't help but be impressed by the selection.
I was also able to catch up on the latest sports games on the many TVs situated around the establishment.

The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the Sidewinder French Fries were truly something to write home about.
I happened to be there on a Bingo Night supporting Breast Cancer Awareness, and it turned out to be such a fun and memorable night.
I also got to try the Shepards Pie and pickles, which were both delicious.
This spot has quickly become one of my favorite local hangouts, and I can't wait to bring more friends and family to enjoy it with me.
The Royal Indian Cuisine
As I was craving some delicious Indian food, I decided to check out The Royal Indian Cuisine, a new restaurant in town.
Upon entering, I noticed it was clean and simply decorated, providing ample seating for large crowds.
I came for lunch and was pleasantly surprised when I was offered a cup of tea while waiting for my food.
I ordered the egg dosa, garlic naan, and pomfret fish curry.
The egg dosa was large and came with four different dipping sauces, which were all flavorful and added great texture to the dish.
The garlic naan was also quite tasty and generously portioned.
As for the pomfret fish curry, it had a good spice level, tender fish, and a delicious curry sauce.
The portion was small and sufficient for one, but it paired well with both the plain rice and the garlic naan.
Alex's Kitchen
One of the best Italian meals I've ever had was at Alex's Kitchen.
The food and presentation were absolutely exquisite.
And believe me when I say this – fried lemon slices are not only delicious, but they pair exceptionally well with fried calamari.
Let me not forget to mention the scrumptious Blueberry and Peach Crostata we had for dessert.
On a Tuesday night, I had crab cakes and corn pudding, and although I didn't particularly like the corn pudding (it had a flan-like texture), the crab cakes were delicious and very filling.
This place has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in town.
I love their artichoke and crab cake appetizers, and their Lobster special and Shrimp with corn risotto never disappoint.
The cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices make Alex's Kitchen a must-visit for any food lover.

Ramble Creek Grill Riverstone
I recently dined at Ramble Creek Grill Riverstone, and it was an incredible experience.
I couldn't even bring myself to stop eating to take a picture, that's how good the food was!
I started off with the Seasonal Old Fashioned, which was not only delicious but also generously poured.
Their wide range of menu options made it difficult to choose just one dish, but I finally settled on the Boudin Egg Rolls as an appetizer.
For my main course, I tried the Shrimp Etouffe, which was delightful.
The overall vibe and decor of the place, including the awesome blue floor, added to the experience.
I also appreciated that there was ample space to move around, even when the restaurant was busy.
During my second visit, I decided to try something new and went for the steak with potatoes and asparagus.
The meatloaf gravy on the side was a game-changer–they should seriously consider bottling and selling it separately!
The service and drinks were great, as always, and I will definitely be coming back for more.
NAKA Ramen
Let me tell you about my recent visit to NAKA Ramen in Missouri City.
This place has easily become one of my favorite ramen spots in the Houston area.
The broth is lighter than most ramens I've tried, but it's incredibly flavorful!
I ordered the Naka Chicken Ramen and the tempura shrimp and vegetables, and both were absolutely fantastic.
Being a cold evening, the ramen was even more inviting and comforting.
I also appreciate how consistent the quality of the food is here.
Every time I visit, the dishes are just as delicious and satisfying as before.
Another thing I love about NAKA Ramen is their special offer.
If you order $35 or more, they give you free chicken karaage on the house!
Just make sure to ask for a side of dipping sauce since it doesn't come with any.
And if you're a fan of takoyaki, give theirs a try–though it could use a bit more sauce to avoid being too dry.
If you're a ramen lover like me, I highly recommend giving this place a try!
Asia Blue
Every time I grab some takeout from Asia Blue, I'm not only impressed by the packaging that ensures no spills or messes in my car but also by the high quality of everything that comes with the meal, even down to the soy sauce and chopsticks.
Asia Blue's menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and I've noticed that they've been improving the quality of food over time.
Their green curry is to die for, packed with fresh, colorful veggies, and their Taiwanese popcorn chicken has gotten so much better than before.
I really hope they can open up the full restaurant soon, as I'd love to dine in and enjoy the atmosphere.
Recently, I was craving ramen during a random cold spell, and Asia Blue exceeded my expectations.
I ordered the spicy tonkatsu (not officially on the menu, but they were happy to accommodate my request), and it was absolutely delicious.
The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles had the perfect bite, and the meat was thick, slightly fatty, and full of flavor.
Plus, the bamboo shoots, egg texture, and separately packed green onions and seaweed made the whole meal even more enjoyable.
In addition to the ramen, I added a $5 side of bok choy and pork, which was a fantastic deal and tasted amazing.
I also appreciated the little sides of lotus root, seaweed, and edamame that came with the ramen.
To top it all off, the customer service at Asia Blue is always on point.

I finally decided to check out Happy Crab after hearing so much buzz about it in my neighborhood, and it did not disappoint!
I love their cute little lobster statue and the beautifully decorated, sea-themed interior.
The atmosphere was comfortable, and the music played added to the overall ambiance.
I started my meal with some fresh raw oysters, served with lemon, horseradish, and cocktail sauce.
For my main course, I couldn't resist trying their Weekend Special, featuring snow crab legs, a lobster tail, and an abundance of plump shrimp.
The flavors were absolutely amazing!
What impressed me the most was the kid-friendly environment at Happy Crab.
They provide a kids menu and even give crayons for the little ones to color while they wait for their meals.
Micheaux's
I've been a fan of Micheaux's ever since they opened their new location on Hwy 6.

One of my favorite dishes to order is their oxtail.
The taste is always spot-on, and the rice and gravy make for a perfect meal.
Another dish I highly recommend is their baked chicken and Alfredo pasta–it is hands down one of the best I've ever had.
The dessert options at Micheaux's are also fantastic, especially the coconut pineapple cake.

Danny's Crawfish & Seafood
The other day, I decided to try out Danny's Crawfish & Seafood for lunch with my family.
The place is a quaint little seafood spot that offers a few tables to dine in.
I was pleased with the ample parking space and easily accessible location.
The atmosphere was pretty laid back during lunchtime, but I could see many people coming in to pick up their orders for takeout.
I ordered the garlic butter crawfish with medium spice and two corns, while my dad went for the oyster basket, and my brother opted for the fish basket.
The food exceeded my expectations in terms of taste and seasoning.
My crawfish had the perfect blend of spiciness and sweetness, making it a delightful experience.
My dad was also very happy with his oyster basket, especially the well-seasoned fries.
Apart from the food, the service at Danny's Crawfish & Seafood was excellent, and the host made sure to explain everything to us as it was our first visit.
The place was clean and even had a restroom available, making it a convenient and comfortable dining experience.
One thing that stood out to me was their hushpuppies–they were the best I've ever had, and I would go back just for them!
Swamp Chicken Mo City
I finally had the chance to visit Swamp Chicken Mo City, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait!
As soon as I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat with their RN&B hits playing in the background and the aroma of their delicious sweet tea.
I ended up trying the boudin stuffed wings, fried pickles, and their famous red beans and rice.
The wings were the star of the show–crispy, perfectly cooked, and the boudin stuffing was simply to die for.
The red beans and rice were the best I've ever had, and the fried pickles were out of this world!
I even tried their Hurricane frozen cocktail, which was a perfect addition to the meal.
I'm already planning my next visit to try out their gator, grits, and banana pudding.
Casa Vaqueros
I've been living in the neighborhood for years, and one place that always hits the spot is Casa Vaqueros.
This Mexican restaurant has become a family favorite for its delicious food and friendly atmosphere.
The outdoor seating area is perfect for those warm evenings, and I can't help but indulge in their selection of refreshing margaritas.
Although the place can get quite busy on certain days, I've found that going for lunch is an excellent way to enjoy the food without the crowds.
Their fajita plates are generously sized, making them ideal for sharing, and you definitely can't go wrong with a Mexican Coke to wash it down.
The prices are quite reasonable, and the service is always top-notch.
I've even brought along a large group of friends and family, and we were accommodated without any issues.
Mo City Crawfish
I was craving some good crawfish, and when I visited Mo City Crawfish, it delivered beyond my expectations.
I was thrilled to see that they had a promotion for 5 lbs of crawfish for just $25, so I decided to give it a try.
The garlic butter flavor was the best I've ever had.
The crawfish were boiled to perfection, soft, tender, and absolutely bursting with flavor.
The sweet corn they served alongside was the real deal–so sweet and delicious, I couldn't get enough.
I also tried their seafood garlic noodles, which were equally amazing.
Now, I couldn't leave without trying some of their other dishes.
I went for the fried platter and the lemon pepper wings.
The lemon pepper wings, on the other hand, were a pleasant surprise.
They were fried to a perfect crisp and had a good size to them.
I even ordered a baby brisket pho for my little one, and it was just the right size for a baby.
The broth was on the sweeter side, but it had a good amount of noodles and meats, making it perfect for my baby to enjoy.
7Spice Seafood Restaurant
One of my favorite go-to spots in town is 7Spice, a cozy counter-serve setup offering a simple menu of delicious Cajun-style eats.
My frequent visits have never been disappointing, with excellent service and LEGIT food.
One of my top recommendations is their King platter which is a must-try if you're in the area.
The place is very professional and clean, making me want to return soon.
I particularly love their fried Catfish and Shrimp, but I've also had the snow crab combo, which was amazing.
Although sometimes the place can get busy, the wait is worth it for the delicious food and excellent service.
Just remember to ask for plates and utensils if you need them, as they might forget during peak hours.
The Bluebonnet Grille
I absolutely love dining at The Bluebonnet Grille.
It has quickly become my go-to spot for a delicious meal, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
The American restaurant never disappoints with its mouthwatering dishes and impeccable service.
One of my favorite things to order at The Bluebonnet Grille is their chicken and waffles.

Crawfish Bistro
I've had the pleasure of dining at Crawfish Bistro a couple of times.
Their website, crawfishbistro.com, is where I first discovered this gem of a Cajun restaurant.
On my first visit, I went there with my partner to celebrate our anniversary, and we couldn't have chosen a better place!
The atmosphere was intimate and cozy, with classic rock tunes playing in the background.
Their frozen drinks were simply divine and totally worth trying.
The food was the absolute highlight, though.
I am still in awe of the delicious crawfish and the best gumbo I've ever tasted.
The oysters were also incredibly fresh and enormous!
This restaurant surely lived up to its name, and I couldn't wait to return.

Lasbela Restaurant (Sugar Land)
