Welcome to Maple Grove, Minnesota!
As a resident of this charming city, let me tell you the dining scene here is truly exceptional.
From delicious local comfort food to exquisite international cuisine, there's something for every palate.
In this article, I'll be sharing my top restaurant recommendations based on my personal experiences and tastes.
So, without further ado, let's dive into the culinary wonders of this city that you simply cannot miss with this list of the best restaurants in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
I absolutely adore Nautical Bowls, and it has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a healthy and delicious meal.
As someone with dietary restrictions, I appreciate their vast selection of gluten-free and dairy-free options.
Plus, their unique and super tasty bowls never disappoint.
And if there's ever an issue with my order, they're quick to correct it.
I also love the fact that I can customize my bowl to suit my preferences and dietary needs, making it the perfect solution for my busy lifestyle.
The atmosphere inside the restaurant is always fun and lively.
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill
I stumbled upon a fantastic little gem in Maple Grove the other day: The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill.
Decided to stop in for a quick and healthy lunch, and I'm so glad I did!
The atmosphere is a perfect blend of modern and traditional, with a touch of old-world charm in the lamps and chairs. It felt like a cozy, old cafe.
Now, let me tell you about the food!
My group ordered the Souvlaki Plate with lamb and beef, a burger, and a Falafel Pita sandwich – all of which were absolutely mouth-watering.
I'm a big fan of falafel and have tried it in various places, so I can say with certainty that theirs is delicious.
I just wish it was a bit crispier on the outside, but that's a minor detail.
I also noticed how clean the place was – something you don't always find in fast-casual restaurants.
This has definitely become one of my go-to spots in the area, and I can't wait to go back and try their Classic Greek Salad, Feta Fries, and Baklava Ice Cream.
I've been going to Tandoor quite often for the last couple of years.
It's hard to resist the mouth-watering tandoori plates and other classic Indian fares they offer.
One of the things I love about Tandoor is its clean and bright atmosphere.
The contemporary vibe is informal, making it a perfect place to dine with friends or family.
The food, without a doubt, is the star of the show.
The portions are huge, and it's always a challenge to finish everything on the plate.
I often end up taking leftovers home, which are just as delicious the following day.
The flavors and seasonings are top-notch, and every dish I've tried so far has been absolutely delightful.
Tandoor has definitely earned its spot in my top five favorite restaurants.
If you're ever in town and craving some delicious Indian cuisine, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to this amazing restaurant!
Just last week, I visited Ten Sushi for a much-needed night out with some friends.
As soon as we walked in, we were instantly impressed by the modern and chic atmosphere.
We were seated right away, although we had heard it can get really busy, so making a reservation might be a good idea.
We started with the spicy tuna wonton, which was absolutely delicious, followed by a variety of sushi rolls and shrimp fried rice.
The fried rice, in particular, was a standout dish that I can't wait to order again.
Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked.
Grill Hall Brazilian Steakhouse
I absolutely love visiting Grill Hall Brazilian Steakhouse, located right here in our city.
Their website offers a glimpse into the amazing dining experience they provide, but nothing compares to actually being there.
The moment you step foot inside the restaurant, you'll be greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for a night out with friends or a special date night.
As a fan of Brazilian steakhouses, I must say Grill Hall has outdone themselves with the variety and quality of food they offer.
The market bar is always stocked with fresh and delicious selections that are sure to please even the pickiest of eaters.
My personal favorite is the Pichana, as they cut it thicker than most other places, making it even more satisfying to indulge in.
It truly feels like you're on a mini vacation every time you're there, and the beautiful design and decor only add to the overall ambiance.
One of the best things about this area is the amazing food options we have.
One of my all-time favorites has to be the family-run Chinese restaurant Yu Fong.
Their orange chicken, sesame beef, and vegetarian items never disappoint and have become a staple whenever I crave some delicious Chinese cuisine.
The other night, I decided to order takeout from Yu Fong after a long day at work.
I went with the sesame chicken, beef with broccoli, shrimp fried rice, and pork egg rolls - all of which were outstanding.
The sesame chicken, in particular, was incredibly crispy and light.
I ordered the quart size for my entrees, which was more than enough to feed my family of four.
What I love most about Yu Fong is the consistency in their quality and service.
The takeout is always hot and prompt.
This time, I also tried their chicken egg fu yung and chicken mushroom chow mein, and both dishes were fantastic.
The gravy on the chicken egg fu yung was a great touch, and the chow mein came with a little packet of crunchy noodles that added the perfect amount of texture.
One of my favorite places for a delicious meal in the area has to be Hometowne Pizza.
It's a cozy, family-owned pizza restaurant that always manages to hit the spot.
Whether I'm in the mood for some mouth-watering wings, a scrumptious pizza, or the best cookie in town, I know I can count on them to deliver the goods.
When I want to treat myself, I always go for their Meat Lovers pizza, which is hands down my favorite choice.
Their thin crust cut into square slices, is simply incredible.
It's sort of similar to Broadway's crust but a little bit thicker. I haven't tried their other menu items yet, because I just can't resist the temptation of their thin-crust pepperoni pizza.
Dining at Hometowne Pizza is always an enjoyable experience.
Their customer service is top-notch, and you can feel the warmth of a family-owned business every time you visit.
On sunny days, I love sitting outside on their patio, soaking up the sun while munching on my pizza.
If I don't feel like eating out, their take-out and delivery options make it easy to satisfy my cravings from the comfort of my own home.
And with another location in Medina, it's clear to see that this pizza gem is loved by many.
One evening, I decided to try out a new pizza place in Maple Grove called Pizza Karma.
I've been hearing a lot of buzz about their Indian-fusion pizzas and tandoor-fired crust, so I figured it was time to give it a shot.
For my meal, I ended up ordering the creamy garlic pizza and Indian spice fries, while my friend opted for the Zupreme pizza and wings.
To say the least, the tandoor-fired crust was absolutely delicious and really set Pizza Karma apart from other pizza joints.
The Indian spice fries were an interesting twist and definitely catered to fans of Indian cuisine.
Their attentiveness and friendliness made my experience all the more enjoyable.
I can't wait to go back and try some of the more unique flavors they offer!
Punch Pizza Maple Grove
Let me tell you about one of my go-to places for pizza in town - Punch Pizza Maple Grove.
This counter-serve pizzeria has consistently served up some of the best wood-fired Neapolitan pies in a family-friendly space.
The other night, I decided to take my family to Punch Pizza for dinner before heading over to the library.
With two picky eaters to please, I was relieved to find that there was almost no wait.
It's always great to see a quick and efficient takeout process, as well as a pleasant dine-in experience.
I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza, and it was absolutely delicious.
The pepperoni was flavorful, and the sausage was fresh and juicy.
Both of my kids got the Bambini pizza, and they devoured it - a rare sight!
My oldest finished his pizza before I could even get through two slices of mine, and my youngest ate about half of hers.
Another noteworthy feature of Punch Pizza is the atmosphere.
It's always bustling and lively, making it a great place to catch up with friends.
The crust on their pizzas is crispy at the edges and fluffy on the inside, while the sauce is packed with flavor.
Malone's Bar & Grill
Malone's Bar & Grill has always been a go-to spot for me and my friends. Their website gives you a glimpse of what to expect, but trust me, the experience is even better in person!
It's an easygoing place with a great atmosphere, offering draft beers, cocktails, and casual global grub.
Plus, they have sports on TV and a patio for those lovely sunny days.
What I love about Malone's is the consistent quality of the service and food.
It can get really busy, especially on weekends, but the service is attentive and quick.
The portions are generous, and the food is always cooked to perfection.
I've tried several dishes from their menu, and all of them have been delicious.
My personal favorites are the cranberry turkey melt and the steak bowl.
Another thing that sets Malone's apart is their drink selection.
They make a mean Moscow Mule served in a nice tall glass, and their draft beer options are always on point.
It's the perfect spot for catching up with friends over food and drinks, or even for date night with your special someone.
Lotus Maple Grove
I recently dined at Lotus Maple Grove, and I must say that it has quickly become one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in town.
As soon as I entered, I was greeted with a warm, casual atmosphere.
The menu was diverse, offering traditional Vietnamese dishes such as bubble tea, pho, and banh mi.
I decided to order the pho, which turned out to have a rich and flavorful broth.
The spring rolls were also a delightful appetizer, perfectly crisp and fresh.
My friend tried the lunch special, and we were both impressed with the quality and portion size of the dishes.
The bubble tea was a refreshing treat to end our meal, and I couldn't resist trying the Tri-Color dessert, which was just as amazing as I had heard!
One thing I appreciated about Lotus Maple Grove was how they catered to different spice preferences.
They provided pepper oil for those who want a little extra kick in their dishes.
Brick & Bourbon
One evening, my friends and I decided to try out Brick & Bourbon, as we had heard some great things about the place.
We were immediately impressed by the high ceilings and stylish decor, which created a beautiful and inviting atmosphere.
We couldn't help but notice their extensive liquor selection, especially the whiskies.
I was particularly excited to find a wide range of Japanese whiskies, something I had been wanting to try for a while.
Our bartender was extremely knowledgeable and helped guide me through the options.
When it came to the food, we were blown away by the delicious American eats.
The dishes were well-presented and flavorful, making it a memorable dining experience.
El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant
One of my favorite places to eat in town is El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant, a family-run, cozy spot that offers amazing Mexican cuisine and a fantastic margarita list.
You can check them out on Facebook.
I love going there after work or during the weekends for their extended happy hour.
What I really appreciate about El Rodeo is their attention to detail and the freshness of their food.
It's a small thing, but they even provide a nice-sized container of salsa and chips for takeout orders, which is not common at most Mexican restaurants.
I often order their Dinner #1, and it's always more than enough to leave me satisfied.
Their shrimp salad and wings are some of my favorites, and I can't forget to mention their amazing margaritas – they're simply the best!
Just last week, I visited Kyoto Sushi after a long gap of three years.
The place was packed, but I must say their service was impressively quick.
I went with a group of friends, and we all decided to try their all-you-can-eat sushi offer.
Within 15 minutes, we had a table filled with a variety of sushi rolls, appetizers, and even some desserts.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish and the freshness of the sushi.
I have been to Kyoto Sushi a few times before, and the service has always been decent.
The all-you-can-eat sushi is priced at $32.99 per person for dinner, so just make sure you have a good appetite to make it worth the investment.
Angeno's Pizza and Pasta
Whenever I have a craving for delicious pizza, my go-to place is Angeno's Pizza and Pasta.
Over the years, I've enjoyed visiting this familiar pizzeria for its amazing selection of pasta, salads, and adventurous housemade pizzas.
Whether I'm grabbing a pizza for takeout or enjoying a meal inside their cozy eat-in area, I've always had a great experience at Angeno's.
One of my favorite memories at Angeno's was when they used to offer a buffet that included everything from pizza, salad, pasta, chicken, cookies, and other tasty goodies.
Although the buffet is no longer available, Angeno's special pizza remains a must-try dish, consistently satisfying my taste buds every time I order it.
What sets Angeno's apart from other pizza restaurants is their commitment to flavor and the generous portions of toppings they put on their pizzas.
The price may not be the cheapest, but it's definitely worth it for the quality and taste.
I've introduced many friends and family members to this pizzeria, and it's always a crowd-pleaser.
During a recent visit, I tried their teriyaki wings, and they were cooked to perfection with a tasty sauce.
The wings seemed to be dipped in the sauce rather than tossed, but there was still plenty of sauce on the bottom for dipping. I will definitely be ordering the wings again.
CRISP & GREEN
As someone who enjoys dining out and exploring new healthy food restaurants, I decided to give CRISP & GREEN a try.
My experience started with ordering a salad for pickup at their Maple Grove location.
Everything was fine, especially the mixed greens.
I am confident that their produce is being adequately washed and inspected, which is essential for a healthy food restaurant.
Pittsburgh Blue Steakhouse
I absolutely love Pittsburgh Blue Steakhouse in Maple Grove.
I've had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant numerous times, and I can confidently say that it never disappoints.
Whether I'm going there for lunch or dinner, I know I'm in for a treat.
One of my favorite things about this steakhouse is their amazing salads.
The flavors are always on point, and I find them to be the perfect start to my meal.
Their sides are phenomenal, too – the creamed spinach is a must-try!
It reminds me of Houston's spinach dip, just without the chips.
The creamed corn and loaded mashed potatoes are also favorites of mine.
Of course, I can't talk about Pittsburgh Blue without mentioning their steaks.
I've never had a steak there that I didn't like.
They're always cooked to perfection and full of flavor.
Now, I might be a bit biased, but I think their steaks are among the best I've ever had.
On special occasions, like my partner's birthday, they go above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable.
The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it an excellent spot for a romantic date or a fun night out with friends.
Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant
One of my favorite places to enjoy a hearty Italian meal in Maple Grove has to be Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant.
The moment I walk in, I feel transported to a warm Italian kitchen, complete with red-and-white tablecloths and kitschy decor.
The food at Buca di Beppo is absolutely delicious, and the generous portions never disappoint.
I always overestimate my appetite and end up taking some leftovers home, which I love.
Their dishes are designed for family-style sharing, so it's best to go with a group.
The birthday celebrations are also a treat; they give you free ice cream to make the occasion even more special!
Whenever I crave Italian cuisine, Buca di Beppo in Maple Grove is always at the top of my list.
Though not perfect, the ambiance and delicious food make it an enjoyable dining experience worth coming back for.
3 Squares Restaurant
Just last week, I went to this bustling neighborhood eatery called 3 Squares Restaurant with my friends for a fun catch-up session.
I was impressed by their wide range of casual eats and cocktails.
The dog-friendly patio was a bonus as we had a furry companion with us.
We made a reservation beforehand, which I highly recommend, as it gets quite busy.
The wings we ordered were phenomenal, and the French toast with eggs, chicken, and gravy was very good too.
One of my friends visited again for breakfast and shared that the gnocchi and French toast were fantastic.
The best part was that there was no wait, even though they arrived at a busy time, around 9 am.
Redstone American Grill
One of my go-to spots for a great meal and excellent service is Redstone American Grill.
Just last week, I took a couple of my friends there for a catch-up dinner, and as always, we were not disappointed.
We began our meal with their famous Buffalo shrimp, served with blue cheese – a personal favorite of mine and a must-try appetizer.
For our main courses, I opted for the Classic roasted chicken with loaded mashed potatoes, and it was an excellent choice.
The chicken was so tender that it just melted in my mouth!
My friends ordered the ribs and rotisserie chicken, and everyone was equally pleased with their dishes.
While we were waiting for our table, we couldn't help but notice the extensive wine list and the beautifully displayed pineapples in jars on top of the bar.
Rodizio Grill Brazilian Steakhouse Maple Grove
As someone who lives close to Rodizio Grill Brazilian Steakhouse Maple Grove, I can confidently say their food quality and service never disappoint.
