One fine day, I was roaming around the city and suddenly saw the Everbowl Mansfield sign.
I had heard about this place from my friends, so I decided to give it a try.
Trust me, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made!
Everbowl Mansfield is an absolute hidden gem with its delicious and healthy bowls.
I found out that many of them are made of superfruits with no added sugar.
I tried the Full Moon bowl on their recommendation, and it was heavenly.
It tasted like dessert but in a healthy way!
The fruits were fresh, and the bowl had a perfect combination of flavors, textures, and colors.
The small size, which costs around $10.55, was pretty filling, and I enjoyed every bite of it.
I love how this locally owned place offers such a tasty and healthy snack option.
500 Park Avenue Cafe
One of my favorite places to dine at is 500 Park Avenue Cafe.
This American restaurant is a gem, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a fantastic menu with a wide array of choices.
I recently visited the cafe and ordered a delicious chicken and rice meal with a salad.
It was, without a doubt, the best salad I've eaten in years!
The presentation was amazing, and the service was top-notch.
What I really love about this place is that everything is cooked or made to order.
I've been trying different items on the menu and have yet to be disappointed.
Leaning Tower of Pizza
Just the other day, I decided to grab a bite to eat at Leaning Tower of Pizza, a quirky counter-serve pizzeria in the neighborhood.
The place is known for its brick oven pies, subs on housemade buns, and a decent selection of beer.
I must say, the food at Leaning Tower of Pizza was absolutely amazing.
The gentlemen working behind the counter were friendly and answered all of my questions.
I opted for a veggie sub that was just incredible, cheesy, and tasty.
My friend, who joined me for lunch, ordered a ham pizza with extra crust, and well, let's just say that it's a pizza we'll both be dreaming about for a while!
One thing to note is that this location is for takeout only, but there are a couple of picnic tables behind the building where we enjoyed our meal al fresco.
The vintage retro vibes of the place added a nice touch to our dining experience, and the service was super fast, affordable, and just downright delicious.
If I could, I'd eat there every day!
Clara's Pizza and Subs
Another favorite hangout in town is Clara's Pizza and Subs.
The food there is simply amazing, and I've tried almost everything on their menu.
Their pizza has a wonderful crunchy crust with a soft center, and their cheese and toppings are always top-notch.
The pizza sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, making it a must-try for any pizza lover.
Their garlic bread is also something I can't resist.
It's a perfect blend of crisp and softness – just how garlic bread should be.
What I also appreciate is their wide selection of subs.
I remember ordering 8 different subs for a lunch meeting I organized, and all of them were a hit among my colleagues.
Whenever I have friends or family visiting from out of town, I make sure to take them to Clara's Pizza and Subs.
My relatives from Maryland couldn't stop raving about their chicken bacon ranch pizza and its delicious crust.
Hudson & Essex
I recently dined at Hudson & Essex, a fine dining restaurant in our town, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience.
I've heard great things about this place, so my partner and I decided to give it a try for a romantic date night.
We started our meal with the onion dip appetizer, which was simply delicious.
For the main course, we ordered pork chop and turmeric cauliflower, and juicy, tender steak.
The flavors on those plates were out of this world, and I couldn't get enough of that cauliflower.
The ambiance and atmosphere in the restaurant were perfect for a special evening.
And to top it all off, we shared a rich dessert that had delightful pops of fruit in it.
Although the prices at Hudson & Essex are on the higher side, the portion sizes, unique menu offerings, and exceptional quality of the food make it all worth it.
Tacos and Margaritas
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tacos and Margaritas for the first time, and I can't wait to go back!
This family-owned Mexican restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites in the area.
The food is authentic and delicious, and the atmosphere is just perfect for a relaxing meal with friends or family.
During my visit, I tried the Jicama tacos, and they were an absolute flavor explosion!
The combination of the crunchy jicama and the different sauces made for a unique and delightful experience.
My friend had the Quesadilla Fajitas, which were equally delicious, with perfectly cooked fajita veggies and a generous amount of queso on top of a fluffy flour tortilla.
Their in-house salsa is also something to rave about, and I couldn't resist trying the Margarita flight.
For just $9.99, you get to choose three different flavors to taste, and they're served in cute jelly jars - definitely not tiny!
Athena Greek Restaurant
One of my favorite spots for Greek flavors has to be Athena Greek Restaurant.
This homey eatery never disappoints with its traditional Greek platters, salads, and pita sandwiches.
I've been going there for years, and I can assure you that the quality has remained consistent.
Just the other day, I ordered the Super Gyro, and it was as delicious as ever.
Priced at just $7.69, it's an affordable and satisfying meal option.
It's always prepared quickly, and the portion size is quite generous.
If you're in the mood for something sweet, don't skip their homemade baklava – it's truly a treat for the taste buds.
The Golden Burrito
Oh, how I love The Golden Burrito!
It has become a regular spot for my partner and me whenever we crave delicious Mexican food.
We usually order a combo #1 burrito and a combo #2 tacos – the portions are so generous that we always have leftovers for another meal or a midnight snack.
Sometimes, we treat ourselves to their raspberry chimichangas, which come with a fantastic raspberry dipping sauce.
I've seen some people complain about the price, but trust me, the amount of food you get justifies the cost.
Plus, the quality is top-notch; every ingredient stands out, and nothing feels like an indescribable mush that you'd get from other places.
To give you an idea, the burrito is so big that it can be compared to the size of a water bottle when stood on its end!
New Hot Wok
One of the go-to places for Chinese food was the New Hot Wok.
I recently tried their Szechuan spicy chicken, which tasted good and mildly spicy.
I also ordered General Tso's chicken, which was exceptional.
Their house fried rice and chicken lo mein were also decent.
The best thing is they offer value for money, and I actually get what I'm paying for.
Panchos Tacos Mansfield
I'm always on the lookout for amazing local food places to try, and after hearing good things about Panchos Tacos Mansfield, I decided to give their Mexican restaurant a shot.
Trust me, it did not disappoint!
I ordered two shredded beef tacos with a side of rice and beans, and I have to say, my taste buds were in for a treat!
The shredded beef was seasoned to perfection, and the generous portion sizes left me feeling more than satisfied.
It's not every day you find a place that serves shredded beef instead of ground beef in their tacos.
The rice was light and fluffy, while the beans had a unique and delightful flavor.
Even the complimentary chips and salsa were a hit!
During another visit, my friends and I decided to share a queso for the table, and it was just as delicious as the other dishes we sampled.
One of my buddies also raved about their horchata, claiming it to be the best he's ever had.
I cannot recommend Rancho Fiesta enough!
This authentic Mexican restaurant offers a colorful and casual dining experience, complete with a full bar and delicious food.
As someone who frequents this spot, I can truly say that their entire menu is fantastic, and it's hard to pick just one favorite dish.
One of the best parts about this restaurant is the option to dine on their beautiful patio.
Enjoying a meal outside while listening to Mexican music truly transports you and makes you feel like you're on a mini-vacation.
I've tried the Chimichanga and Taquitos Mexicanos lunch specials, and both were absolutely delicious.
Plus, their fried ice cream is a must-try – though I suggest sharing it, as the portion is quite generous.
Smokin Bros BBQ
I have to say, Smokin Bros BBQ has become a local favorite for me and my friends when we're craving some tasty barbecue.
The fast-food-style eatery has a bright and welcoming atmosphere, which only adds to the overall experience.
Just last month, I had them cater my birthday party for 25 people.
The order included ribs, brisket, pulled pork, cornbread, baked beans, macaroni, and potato salad - and it was all devoured!
Everyone at the party couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was.
I personally love their brisket the most out of their smoked meats, but I haven't tried anything I didn't like.
The side dishes are also super tasty.
The mac and cheese is always a hit, and the cornbread is sweet, soft, and slightly crispy.
I discovered Reindeer Grill through a friend and decided to check out their website before heading there for dinner.
The first thing that struck me about Reindeer Grill was its convenient location on the main square, near the courthouse.
There was a jazz band playing in the square and people walking around, which made for a really nice vibe.
As I entered, I noticed that the restaurant was small and well-used – a good sign of a popular local spot.
From the moment I tasted their garlic knots and homemade marinara sauce, I knew that I was in for a treat.
The service was impeccable, and the food was served quickly and cooked to perfection.
I couldn't resist trying their mashed potatoes, which, to my surprise, turned out to be the best I've ever had from a restaurant.
But that wasn't all.
During my next visit, I tried their cream of crab soup, beef lasagna, and fish and chips.
The generous portion size and the delicious taste of each dish left me wanting more.
I was particularly impressed by the large chunks of crab in the soup and the perfectly cooked fries that accompanied the fish and chips.
Uncle John's Place
I've always been a fan of juicy, well-seasoned burgers, so when I heard about Uncle John's Place in downtown Mansfield, I knew I had to give it a try.
As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I was struck by the warm and nostalgic atmosphere.
The walls were adorned with unique artwork, and the cozy dining area felt just like home.
I decided to order one of their famous burgers, and it was absolutely delicious.
The burger was cooked just the way I like it, and the toppings were creative and flavorful.
I also had a chance to taste their Reuben sandwich, which was equally amazing.
As if that wasn't enough, they also serve hand-cut fries that were crispy yet not greasy at all.
And to cool down, I couldn't resist trying their Long Island Iced Tea, which was definitely top-notch.
The prices were very reasonable, making the whole experience even better.
MVP's Sports Bar and Grille
As someone who lives nearby, I often find myself at MVP's Sports Bar and Grille when I'm looking for a great meal or a place to catch the game.
I always have a fantastic experience here, and I'm never disappointed with my decision to dine in.
The food is consistently delicious - my personal favorite is the Buckeye Burger, although I'm not a huge fan of the sauce.
My partner, on the other hand, swears by their Philly Cheesesteak.
Their sampler appetizer is a must-try as well.
The menu offers plenty of variety, and I've found that even their daily specials, like the Cajun Burger, are absolutely amazing.
MVP's is not only about the food, though.
One of the best aspects of MVP's is the affordability - it's not every day that you find a place where you can eat and drink for under $50.
Their Peached Whale drink is definitely worth a try, but they also have an extensive selection of beverages to satisfy any craving.
Dan Lew Exchange
I recently dined at Dan Lew Exchange and had an incredible experience.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and promptly seated as I had made a reservation.
Although the menu prices may be on the higher side, you will not be disappointed by the generous portions and the wide variety of dishes available.
I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive drink menu, which included a great selection of beers.
I tried the Hot Mess sushi roll, and it was absolutely delicious — I highly recommend giving it a try!
I also ordered the Almond Cashew Chicken and Hot Pepper Chicken, both of which were excellent.
To top it all off, I indulged myself with a heavenly cheesecake for dessert.
I recently went to El Charrito, a Mexican restaurant in Mansfield, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience!
From the moment I walked in, I could smell the delicious aroma of authentic Mexican cuisine.
The casual, family-friendly ambiance made me feel right at home as I sat down to enjoy my meal.
I was blown away by the quick and attentive service.
My food and drink arrived within 15 minutes of ordering, and everything tasted fantastic.
The portion sizes were quite generous – I even had enough leftovers for a delicious lunch the next day!
Another bonus was finding Mr. Pibb on the menu, which is a rare treat outside of the central Midwest.
I didn't have the chance to snap any pictures of my main course, but their dessert options were also incredible.
I indulged in some mouth-watering churros to cap off my meal, and it was the perfect ending to a fantastic dining experience.
Even though the premises may appear a little dated, the food at El Charrito is top-notch.
Coney Island Diner
Every now and then, I treat myself to a delicious meal at Coney Island Diner in downtown Mansfield.
This cozy, retro diner brings back nostalgic memories of the 50s-60s era with its unique decor and soothing atmosphere.
The food comes out quickly, and their prices are incredibly reasonable.
The tasty main courses surely delivered.
Coney Island Diner also offers Hershey's ice cream and pies for dessert, which perfectly completes the meal.
Wokano Japanese Steakhouse
I've been living in this area for quite some time now, and that Wokano Japanese Steakhouse has always been one of my favorite places to dine.
One visit to their website, you can see that they offer a wide variety of sushi options, Japanese mains like teriyaki, and have performing hibachi chefs.
The atmosphere in Wokano is relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out or a special celebration.
I've been here countless times, and I can confidently say that the food quality and flavor have always been top-notch.
The skilled professional chefs prepare every dish with utmost care and precision, making your dining experience a memorable one.
One of the things that I love most about Wokano is their commitment to consistency – they never fail to blow me away with their excellent food and service.
Not only is the food at Wokano delicious, but the prices are quite reasonable too.
I've paid much higher prices for hibachi chicken and steak at other Japanese steakhouses, but Wokano offers the same fantastic taste at a more affordable price point.
The Local At 97
There's no place like The Local At 97 for a great meal and a relaxing drink.
I find myself eating here at least once a week, and I can confidently say that I've never had a bad experience.
The daily specials are always changing, keeping things fresh and exciting for regulars like me.
One of the things I really appreciate about The Local At 97 is how clean and well-maintained the restaurant is.
It's the perfect environment for hanging out with friends, enjoying a date night, or even a solo meal at the bar.
No matter what you choose from the menu, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
With a cold beer or a glass of wine in hand, you'll feel right at home at The Local At 97.
