I've been hearing a lot of buzz around the Denver metro area about the best place to grab savory pies, and I finally decided to pay a visit to Tip Top Savory Pies.
I can happily say that the hype is real!
I stopped by to buy a variety of pies, making sure to pick up some breakfast and meat pies.
The sausage roll and the New Zealand meat green chili breakfast pie were the standouts for me.
Heating them at home was a breeze, and they all turned out incredibly flaky and delicious.
Plus, they have a rewards system for purchases, which is always a nice bonus.
But the real surprise was discovering that they also serve authentic New Zealand ice cream.
I'm a big ice cream enthusiast, so when I found out they had creamy NZ-style ice cream, I was beyond excited.
My favorite flavor so far has been the Hokey Pokey with Honeycomb Happy Dust.
If you're an ice cream lover like me, you've got to give their ice cream a try!
Romero's K9 Club & Tap House
One of my absolute favorite spots to hang out in town is Romero's K9 Club & Tap House.

The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is hands down one of the best I've ever had – it's crispy, juicy, and perfectly complemented with slaw and pickles.
I also tried the Philly, which is quite good, although I'd prefer a little more veggies and cheese in it.
The welcoming atmosphere at Ruby Ru's is something I always appreciate.
And, if you're in the mood to try something different, go for the Banh Mi Bowl – it's an out-of-this-world experience.
Tacos Ay Ay Ay
I can confidently say that I have found the best breakfast burrito place in the area.
The restaurant is called Tacos Ay Ay Ay, and they specialize in tacos, burritos, tortas, and combo plates.
The place has a no-frills vibe with hand-drawn signage, but don't let that fool you – the food is amazing!
Whenever I visit Tacos Ay Ay Ay, I usually go for their huge breakfast burrito, which costs only $5, making it one of the best deals in the county.
The burrito is packed with ingredients, and they also have a fresh salsa bar – the red salsa is on the spicier side, while the green (avocado-based) one is my personal favorite.
The service is fast, and there are several bar seats available for eating in, but you can also take your food to go.

The medium pho is my personal favorite, and the portion size is massive! It's definitely great value for money.
The first time I tried their vegan pho, I was blown away by the generous amount of tofu and vegetables they included in each bowl.
I also appreciate the quality of the ingredients they use, which truly make the flavors of their dishes stand out.
Although some people might have different opinions about their service, I personally have never faced any issues.
I can't wait for my next visit to Pho Café and satisfy my pho cravings once more!
Community Supper Club
I recently decided to treat myself to a night out at Community Supper Club, and it did not disappoint!
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with an eclectic mix of Coloradan fare, craft beers, and house cocktails.
The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that made me feel right at home.
He was friendly, personal, knowledgeable, and kind.
I decided to try the gnocchi with my dish, and it was absolutely stellar!

William Oliver's Publick House
One of my favorite spots to hang out in town has got to be William Oliver's Publick House.
As soon as you walk in, you can feel the warm, convivial atmosphere that makes it the ideal place to unwind after a long day.
Their patio is particularly inviting on a sunny afternoon, and I've spent countless hours there catching up with friends and soaking up the fresh air.
What really sets William Oliver's apart, though, is their extensive selection of local brews and whiskies.
As a fan of Bourbon, I'm always blown away by the variety they have on offer.
And if you're a beer lover, there's no shortage of options, either - I've tried many a local brew here that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise.
Of course, no visit to William Oliver's would be complete without indulging in some of their mouthwatering pork dishes.
The Pickle and Pig platter is a personal favorite, and I can't resist ordering it every time I'm there.
Their sandwiches are equally impressive, always cooked to perfection and served promptly.
Proto's Pizza
Last weekend, my friends and I decided to check out Proto's Pizza in Lafayette.
We'd heard good things about their brick-oven Neapolitan pizzas, and we were in the mood for some gluten-free options.
As we walked in, we noticed that the indoor seating area was a bit tight, but that didn't bother us too much.
We ordered a variety of pizzas, including the gluten-free crust, which was just as delicious as the regular one.
The thin crust wasn't everyone's favorite, but I personally enjoyed it.
The toppings were a tad sparse, but the overall taste made up for it.

I've been to Morning Glory Cafe a few times now, and I must say that I've never had to wait for a table.
They offer vegan options like quesadillas, and their inside and outside seating areas are both charming and comfortable.
The café is perfect for small groups or solo meals, but it's a good idea to call ahead and reserve a table for larger gatherings as the place can get busy during peak times.

Busaba
I recently dined at Busaba near McCaslin and US 36 interchange, and I must say, it was amazing.
I went there for an early Saturday dinner with my friends and was seated immediately on their lovely patio.
We ordered a few dishes, including Peanut Curry and Pad Thai.
The food was authentic and bursting with flavor - just make sure to stick with mild or medium spiciness, as they don't joke around with the heat levels.
Apart from the main course, we also ordered Panang Curry and Pineapple Curry, which were equally delicious.
To end our meal on a high note, we indulged in the heavenly Mango Sticky Rice, served with ripe mango that just melted in our mouths.
Bob's Diner
One of my favorite spots for a delicious breakfast in town has to be Bob's Diner.
The atmosphere is charming with a 60s vibe, and it's the perfect place for a family-friendly meal.
They offer a variety of American and Mexican comfort food, so there's something for everyone's taste.
Bob's Diner is consistently good, with reasonable prices and generous portions.
My go-to dishes are the light breakfast, pancakes, and the breakfast special - banana pancakes with vanilla frosting.
Trust me, they're as delicious as they sound.
The parking situation is usually hassle-free, and there's ample seating available.
Parma Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar
Last week, I decided to take my family out for dinner at Parma Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar, and I must say, we had a fantastic experience!
The trendy decor set the perfect atmosphere for our evening, and the service was absolutely top-notch.
My partner and daughter, who are known to be quite picky when it comes to Italian cuisine, enjoyed their meals immensely.
