I recently visited Queens Cuisine, and I must say, it was an amazing experience.

The place isn't open for dine-in, but they have an order window right of the main door, which made ordering a breeze.
I decided to give their fried pork chop a try, along with beans, ham, and rice.
The pork chop was cooked to perfection, and the beans were way better than what I had expected.
I also couldn't resist trying their sweet yams, which were absolutely delightful.
The portion sizes were quite generous, so I had plenty to take home for later.

I can confidently say that Cafetomas is my go-to spot for delicious Latin food.

We decided to order a mix of items, including Chicken Shawarma, Lentil Soup, and Falafel.
Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, making it evident that they use fresh ingredients and authentic spices.
One of my friends, who had never tried Middle Eastern food before, was particularly impressed with the Chicken Shawarma.

I had high hopes for the newly opened Punjabi Dhaba Indian Cuisine #2 Kenner.
So when they opened up a new location in Kenner, I thought it was worth giving them another shot.
The buffet was priced at $20 per adult and $13 for a child, and the food was fresh, which I appreciated.
I tried everything on the buffet, but the goat biryani, fresh dosa station, chicken sheekh kebab, and tandoori chicken really stood out.
The best dish, in my opinion, was the daahi Bhala with tamarind sauce - absolutely delicious!
Eastern European Foods
I've been living nearby Eastern European Foods for quite some time now, and I must say, it's my go-to place for stocking up on my favorite Eastern European groceries.
They have an excellent selection of products at very fair prices.
Every time I visit, I find all my staples and even discover some new items to try.
I'm particularly fond of their tea, kvass, and pelmeni, as well as the outstanding cured meats and select dairy products that stay true to Eastern European traditions.
Shishkabob House
I remember the first time I stepped foot into Shishkabob House, craving some delicious Middle Eastern cuisine.
I've been there multiple times since, and they never fail to provide the best service and food.
The hummus, falafel, and kibbeh are simply unbeatable, and I'm a huge fan of their lentil soup and chicken shawarma plate.
While the place may have a somewhat worn-out decor and rickety chairs, it doesn't bother me at all.

They are very knowledgeable and aren't afraid to make recommendations, which has led me to discover the delicious albacore kimchi salad.
The Sashimi deluxe offers great value and an incredible variety of buttery, melt-in-your-mouth fish.

One day, I decided to try out a Korean restaurant in my neighborhood, NolaKorea Korean Restaurant.
What caught my attention was their Dolsot Bibimbap, a Korean dish that's served in a hot stove pot and comes with a variety of ingredients like rice, beef, spinach, carrots, cucumbers, bean sprouts, radish, lettuce, and a fried egg on top.
You have to mix everything together with a metal spoon before eating it but trust me, it's worth the effort!
The mix of fresh and hot flavors was just amazing.
The main dish also came with mini appetizers like fried tofu, sweet & sour potatoes, spicy cucumbers, and kimchi.
The total cost of the meal was a reasonable $15.82, including sales tax.
The restaurant was clean, which is always a plus.
The Catch
I cannot rave enough about The Catch Seafood Restaurant!
Whenever I'm craving some delicious, gluten-free fried food, this is my go-to spot.
I remember the first time I tried their chicken & shrimp platter, and I was blown away by how perfectly seasoned and tasty it was.
