I've had the pleasure of living in Hanover, Pennsylvania, for quite some time now, and one of the things I absolutely love about this town is its incredible selection of restaurants.

Susie's Mexican Grill
One of my favorite spots in town has to be Susie's Mexican Grill at the Markets at Hanover.
I've been a regular customer for quite some time now, and I can confidently say that their food is absolutely delicious.
My go-to dishes are the Quesabirria Tacos and the Cheesesteak Wrap — trust me, you have to try them!
And if you're in the mood for something sweet, their Chocolate Chunk cookies are to die for.
La Libertad
I recently visited La Libertad, a Mexican restaurant in my town, and I must say, it was an amazing experience!
I went there with my family on a Saturday afternoon, and surprisingly, there was no wait at all.
The restaurant started filling up around 4:45, but the service remained fast and attentive throughout our visit.
We ended up ordering beef tacos with fries, two servings of rice and beans, a veggie burrito, and a massive meat and cheese bowl sampler.
The variety and quality of the food were impressive, especially the rice and beans which my son claimed were the best he's ever had.
My partner also loved the veggie burrito.
The prices at La Libertad were quite reasonable, considering the portion sizes. Although parking is limited, you can easily find street parking, and the restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of all of downtown Hanover.
Firepit Rotisserie & Grill
One day, while running some errands in Hanover, I stumbled upon Firepit Rotisserie & Grill, a Greek restaurant tucked away in the area.
I decided to give it a try, and I'm so thrilled that I did!
My favorite dish has to be the 3 skewer combo, with the chicken being the standout, but I also enjoyed the flavors of the kefta and beef as well.
Oh, and don't even get me started on the hummus - it's to die for!
I've already made plans to return and explore more of their menu.
I noticed some mouthwatering pizza on my last visit, so I can't wait to try that next time.

OAK Hanover
Ever since OAK Hanover opened up in our town, I've had a couple of chances to dine at this fantastic restaurant, and I must say, it's become my go-to spot for date nights!
Their mixed drinks are always top-notch, and you simply can't leave without trying one of their delicious pizzas.
One thing I've learned from my visits is that it's essential to make a reservation, even on weekdays.
I remember going on a Tuesday once and ending up with a seat at the bar, which turned out to be a great experience.
The appetizers at OAK are also worth trying – they're not your typical bar fare, and they go well with the signature drinks.
And if you're a pizza lover like me, you'll find the price to be quite reasonable: two craft pizzas for $25.
Full Moon Japanese Restaurant
I recently visited Full Moon Japanese Restaurant, and I'm so glad I did!
This low-key dining room features hibachi-grilled dishes, sushi, and tempura, as well as a few Thai options.
The south side of town can be quite tricky to navigate due to the heavy traffic, but it's worth the effort to get to Full Moon.
Upon entering, I was greeted with great service and ample seating options. I decided to try their sushi, and I must say it was excellent.
The menu offered plenty of sushi options, so I went with the chicken hibachi.
The portion size was generous, and the taste was amazing!
Big Mike's Crabhouse & Grill
One of my favorite spots in town for a seafood extravaganza is Big Mike's Crabhouse & Grill.
As a seafood lover, I was thrilled to find a place in Maryland that serves top-quality, delicious seafood dishes.
Their menu offers a wide variety of seafood options, from fried or steamed fish to crab cakes, scallops, and shrimp.
I remember trying their loaded hush puppies, which were mouthwateringly good, loaded with crab meat, and perfectly seasoned.
My friends and I also enjoyed the crab cakes, steamed shrimp, and juicy "broasted" chicken, which had a crispy exterior and tender, flavorful meat.
The service at Big Mike's Crabhouse & Grill is always impeccable.
Additionally, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating options, perfect for enjoying a meal on a nice day.
What sets this place apart is not just the fantastic food but also the warm and friendly atmosphere.
El Rancho Mexican Restaurant
I am always on the lookout for authentic Mexican restaurants, and El Rancho Mexican Restaurant has become my absolute favorite in the area.
Their website doesn't do justice to the amazing food and experience they offer.
I can vouch for the Chicken Enchiladas Verde, which is incredibly delicious and filling.
My partner and I always end up with leftovers to enjoy for lunch the next day.
And let's not forget about their nachos - my family adores them, and we order them every time we visit.
El Rancho also offers some unique desserts, like their Tequila ice cream, which is a must-try if you have room for it.
Their Margherita ice cream is another hit, and I can't help but indulge in it whenever I dine here.
Warehouse Gourmet Bistro & Brewpub
As a resident, I can wholeheartedly recommend Warehouse Gourmet Bistro & Brewpub to anyone looking for a great dining experience and some delicious craft beers.
The bistro is a local favorite, and every time I go there, it's packed with regulars who can't get enough of the delicious food and drinks on offer.
I have to mention the French onion soup, which is simply outstanding.
The creamy tomato soup is another favorite and stands out as a unique and delightful dish.
I've also had the chance to try their crab cake burger special, which absolutely did not disappoint.
As for the beers, I've enjoyed both their stout and cider and the beer menu is impressive without being overwhelming.
Aside from the amazing food and drinks, the bistro's atmosphere is lively, and the decor is quite impressive.
I was particularly struck by how clean and well-decorated the bathrooms are – easily some of the nicest I've seen in any restaurant!
Blessing Restaurant
I have had the pleasure of dining at Blessing Restaurant on multiple occasions.
The Latin American cuisine they offer is authentic and fresh, with dishes made to order.
One of my favorites is their Chorizo tacos - well seasoned, not greasy, and served with soft corn tortillas that hold up well.
The onion and cilantro toppings are always fresh, and the green salsa gives it just the right amount of heat.
On one visit, I tried their Chips and Guacamole, and I must say, their guacamole is one of the best I've ever had.
It's so fresh, flavorful, and chunky, making it the perfect appetizer.
To top off a meal, I highly recommend their Traditional Tres Leches cake.
It's firm, full of milk, sweet, and has a perfect texture without being overly spiced.
I appreciate the friendly and fast service at Blessing Restaurant, and it's always clean.
Come a Casa
I recently decided to give Come a Casa a try, as I had heard great things about their Italian cuisine. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint!
I went there with my family, and we were all able to find something we loved on their extensive menu.
The pizza was simply excellent, and the lasagna was amazing too.
I also had the chance to try their wine selection from Italy, which made the whole experience even better.
I've seen some people get confused between the Come a Casa in San Jose del Cabo and the one in Cabo, but trust me, this one is worth a visit.
On top of the delicious food, I was impressed by the quiet and cozy atmosphere.
It was quite a contrast to the usual hustle and bustle of Hanover.
I have to say, Come a Casa is now one of my go-to places whenever I'm craving Italian food or looking for a nice place to dine out with family and friends.
Blue Koi
One of my favorite spots in town is Blue Koi, an Asian restaurant that offers an exquisite selection of Chinese, Thai, and Japanese cuisine, including sushi.
You can find them by visiting their website. I absolutely love their sushi, which is always full of flavor and freshness.
If you're not into sushi, I highly recommend their chicken curry or chicken pad Thai, which never disappoints.
The dining area in Blue Koi is beautifully designed with a minimalist-modern shopping center vibe.
The food is top-notch, and the flavors are rich and abundant. I am delighted to have discovered this gem right in my neighborhood.
Their gyoza and summer rolls are amazing, but the real standout for me is the Bombastic roll.
It's hands down the best sushi I've ever had, with incredibly fresh ingredients and a perfect combination of flavors.
Not only is the food at Blue Koi exceptional, but the atmosphere is also elegant and clean.
Just a quick tip: it's best to arrive early as the place can get quite busy!
Famous Hot Weiner North Inc
Whenever I crave a delicious, no-fuss meal in town, I head to Famous Hot Weiner North Inc.
Founded in 1923, this local chain has been serving up mouthwatering hot dogs, sandwiches, and shakes for nearly a century.
The atmosphere is always laid-back and relaxed, which is perfect for a quick bite or casual outing with friends or family.
I've found that sometimes the place can get a bit crowded, but that just goes to show how popular it is among us locals.
I personally enjoy the 2 hamburger special, which comes with fries and is perfect for sharing with a friend.
Though the menu offers a wide variety of options, I highly recommend trying their signature hot dogs served with onions and chili – it's a truly classic and delicious combination that has stood the test of time.
Texas Hot Wiener Lunch

Tacos y Tortas Mexican Restaurant
I recently stopped by Tacos y Tortas Mexican Restaurant for a quick lunch, and I have to say, I was quite impressed.
I decided to keep it simple and ordered a chicken quesadilla for just $6, and it tasted absolutely delicious.
They even included some tasty toppings on the side.
The restaurant itself is a bit small, and the booths are a little tight, especially for a bigger person like me.
However, it didn't bother me too much, and I could see myself getting some takeout in the future.
The menu offers a good variety of Mexican dishes, and everything looked mouthwatering.
What really stood out to me was the cleanliness of the kitchen and the passion of the cooks.

3 Hogs BBQ
One day, I decided to check out this classic BBQ joint called 3 Hogs BBQ in Hanover.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a unique biker bar atmosphere combined with mouthwatering BBQ aromas.
I couldn't wait to dive into their extensive menu featuring everything from ribs to pulled pork egg rolls and an impressive selection of nine homemade sauces.
I ordered the loaded fries with brisket, which were sinfully delicious, and their creamy mac n cheese with burnt ends.
I couldn't resist trying their pulled pork as well, and it was just as amazing.
The multitude of BBQ sauce options really elevated the experience, allowing me to customize my meal exactly how I liked it.
The dining area is filled with picnic tables, giving it a laid-back, "Carolina feel". .
Sal's Pizza & Subs
I've been a frequent customer at Sal's Pizza & Subs for years now, and I must say that their food never disappoints.
Their pizza with mushrooms is one of my all-time favorites!
The cheeseburger sub is also a must-try, and it pairs wonderfully with their assortment of sides.
One thing that sets Sal's apart from other pizza places is their drive-thru window.
As someone with kids, having the convenience of a drive-thru for pizza is a lifesaver.
Not to mention, the service is always fast and friendly.
I must admit there have been a few instances where I've encountered minor issues with my order, like finding a hair in a sub or having a side of cheese microwaved in a Styrofoam cup.
Clair's Family Restaurant
I've always heard great things about Clair's Family Restaurant.
Recently, I finally got the chance to visit, and I must say, it didn't disappoint!
The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm and cozy ambiance.
The service was quite good, and the food was absolutely fantastic.
I decided to try their daily specials, and although they didn't have the chicken corn soup that I initially craved, their chicken noodle soup did not disappoint.
To make things even better, I indulged in their apple cobbler for dessert, which was simply divine.
Some of my all-time favorite dishes here include roasted chicken, meatloaf, and an absolutely incredible homemade ranch dressing.
My family also loves dining at Clair's Family Restaurant.
My granddaughter, in particular, enjoys their awesome grilled cheese and the best hot brownie sundae she's ever had.
Brother's Pizza
I absolutely love stopping by Brother's Pizza whenever I get a chance.
The place has been recently remodeled, and it looks so fresh and clean all the time!
They have these nice, comfortable booths that I love to sit in when I come, especially during lunchtime, which can get quite busy.
The food here is always delicious, with their cheeseburger subs being my personal favorite.
I can't resist the combination of juicy meat and melty cheese on that perfectly toasted bread!
Their pizzas are nothing short of amazing too.
The crust is always crispy, and the toppings are just mouth-watering.
Dutch Country Restaurant
Dutch Country Restaurant has always been one of my favorite spots to grab a delicious meal.
Their website might not look like much, but don't let that fool you – the food here is downright amazing.
Just last week, I went there with some friends for lunch on a Friday afternoon, and we enjoyed every bit of it.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, making us feel right at home.

My partner, who doesn't have any dietary restrictions, took advantage of their lunch special - two slices of pizza and a drink for just $6.
He couldn't stop raving about how it was the best pizza he's had in a long time.
Although we did experience a slight hiccup with the timing of our dishes - the pizza arrived a few minutes before the rest of our meals - it didn't overshadow the overall fantastic experience we had at New Alfredo's.
We're definitely planning to return and try out more of their delicious offerings.
Divino Pizzeria Italian Eatery
Divino Pizzeria Italian Eatery has always been a go-to place for my family and friends. You can check their website here.
Last weekend, I decided to order from them again for a family dinner.
The order included a large pizza with half pepperoni and half cheese, a crab pretzel, and a 2-liter soda.
The crab pretzel was undercooked, and the pizza had too much cheese, just the way I liked it.
I also appreciate their welcoming and kind nature towards all their customers, as mentioned by others with dietary restrictions.
And if you're a fan of cheesy dishes, you might find their pizza just perfect for your taste buds!
Lucky Spot
I've tried many breakfast spots, but Lucky Spot has quickly become my go-to family restaurant.
I've been there more than 10 times now, and each visit has been memorable.
The food is consistently great, and you can tell that they put a lot of care into their dishes.
One of my favorite things to order is their Eggs Benedict - it's so delicious, and I'm not the only one who thinks so, as many other visitors also rave about it.
Plus, the prices at Lucky Spot are very reasonable, which makes it even more appealing.
Aki Japanese Restaurant
Just last week, my friends and I decided to try out Aki Japanese Restaurant in Hanover.
We had heard great things about it, and we were eager to experience it ourselves.
I ordered the shrimp shumai as an appetizer, and it was divine.
The dumplings were perfectly cooked, and the accompanying sauce elevated the dish even more.
For my main course, I opted for the salmon roll and the Philadelphia roll.
The freshness of the fish was evident in every bite, and the balance between the cream cheese and avocado in the Philadelphia roll was spot on.
My friends had a steak entree and a seafood entree, both of which were presented beautifully and tasted just as good.
The restaurant has a hibachi section, which we didn't try this time, but I definitely plan to come back and give it a shot.
