Sweet Rice Thai Sushi

I've been living close to Sweet Rice Thai Sushi, and I'm so glad they've opened up in our neighborhood.

In just under two weeks, I've already ordered takeout from them twice!

Their food is incredibly fresh and delicious, and I've been thoroughly impressed by the neat and clean packaging of the takeout.

Recently, on my birthday, I ordered from them again, and they accidentally forgot something in the order.

To my surprise, they personally drove to my house to deliver the missing item!

How sweet is that?

I can't wait to have a date night at the restaurant soon, as the interior looks so cute and inviting.

Not only is the atmosphere clean and welcoming, but the food quality is outstanding.

In my opinion, it's hands down the best Thai food around, even on par with what I've had in NYC.

Additionally, their sushi is very fresh and well-prepared.

I've been there three times since they opened, and I've never been disappointed.

Farmacy Restobar

I recently decided to try out Farmacy Restobar in the heart of our charming town. Let me tell you, it was an absolute delight!

The food was fresh, local, and prepared from scratch. I was amazed by the variety of dishes they offered, which is a testament to their frequently changing menu.

The moment I stepped into Farmacy, I was greeted by their warm, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere.

If you're looking for a mix of fine dining, health, and local cuisine, this is definitely the place for you.

My visit to Farmacy started with their raw oysters, which were served perfectly garnished and tasted incredibly fresh.

The baby kale and peach salad was another standout dish.

It had chèvre cheese, toasted hazelnuts, and roasted peaches in a vinaigrette, tasting almost like a peach pie!

The hanger steak chimichurri was cooked to perfection, and the desserts, particularly the donut ice cream and chocolate torte, were simply divine.

I can't say enough good things about Farmacy Restobar.

Their attention to detail, amazing food, and top-notch service make it a must-try for anyone in the area.

I must say, their hot dogs and meat sauce are the best in the area.

I've even brought friends who live 45 minutes away to try them, and they agree it's worth the drive.

The breakfast and lunch menus have a great variety, and I've never had a bad meal there.

Plus, the prices are fantastic – it's a great value for the quality of the food.

One of the things that really set Peter's Diner apart is the two lovely ladies who run the place.

They seem to know everyone who walks in the door, and they truly make it feel like a friendly neighborhood eatery.

They even have a create-your-own pasta night that's worth trying!

Aside from their sumptuous meals, I appreciate the great service they provide.

One of my favorite dishes is their grilled portabella, artichoke, and spinach panini.

Trust me, adding their special mayo takes that sandwich to another level!

Being a part of the community, I have friends who require gluten-free options, and Gourmet Cafe caters to them thoughtfully.

Looking for a sweet treat?

Their tiramisu is just divine! I often go there for lunch and enjoy sitting by the window, taking in the beautiful view of Main Street.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mint in Glens Falls, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots in town.

When walking in, the first thing that catches your eye is the beautifully designed bar, elegant bar stools, and great lighting, making it a perfect place for a night out or a casual dinner.

The dining room is cozy, chic, and elegant, making every visit feel like a special occasion.

One of the things that stood out the most for me was the wide variety of dishes on the menu - lots of vegetarian and vegan options, which is a big plus in my book.

I tried the Tuscan chicken with fresh pasta (substituting shitake mushrooms for chicken), and it tasted just like my grandma used to make at home!

The balance of creamy goodness in the dish was perfect.

My friends and I also shared the chimichurri cauliflower appetizer, which was very flavorful and a great way to start the meal.

The service at Mint was friendly, attentive, and positive, making our dining experience even better.

Moreover, the cocktails were delicious, strong, and beautifully presented, adding to the overall ambiance of the place.

My friends and I often find ourselves heading there for a night out, whether it's a planned event or a spur-of-the-moment decision.

One of my go-to dishes is the Den Poutine, which never disappoints.

The food, in general, is far from mediocre and seasoned to perfection. Even the tap water is refreshing, but if you want something a little fancier, their sparkling water is incredible.

And while I may not order a Shirley Temple, the vodka is always cold and smooth.

I can't resist their sizable portions, especially considering the reasonable prices.

It's easy to taste the freshness of the ice cream and toppings, and I find myself craving their Brownie Sundae and Peanut Butter Cup Sundae quite often.

Apart from their heavenly ice cream, Southy's also offers mouthwatering garlic parm wings and scrumptious hot pizza, which many locals consider the best in the South Glens Falls area.

Another reason to love Southy's is its commitment to giving back to the community, which truly reflects the spirit of a family-owned business that cares for its patrons.

Mean Max Brew Works

I absolutely love spending my evenings at Mean Max Brew Works.

It's become one of my go-to spots to unwind after work or catch up with friends on the weekend.

Although they don't serve food, it's not a problem at all because they allow us to bring in our own food or even have food delivered.

The bartenders are always attentive, and they have a great selection of beers.

I particularly enjoy their watermelon sour.

What really makes Mean Max stand out, however, is the ambiance.

They often host local live music, and on one of my recent visits, I had a blast enjoying the tunes of the Richard Clements Band.

The indoor space is cozy and inviting, while the outdoor patio is perfect for warmer nights.

And if you're not a beer fan, don't worry – they have some fun drinks like the Shark Bait that are definitely worth a try.

Every time I visit, I'm tempted by their daily selection of freshly baked bread, like marble rye, cinnamon raisin, and whole wheat.

And I simply can't resist their mouth-watering biscotti. But it's their vegan cafe menu that truly stands out.

You don't have to be vegan to appreciate the incredible flavors they create, and I must admit, I don't even miss the meat.

Their Ruben sandwich is a must-try, and the pickle that comes with it is just fantastic.

It's not just the food that makes Rock Hill Bakehouse & Cafe special, though.

I love that they're committed to ethical and kind practices, like their pay-it-forward bread program that helps support our local community.

One thing I always look forward to is a night out at Mi Rancho Mexican Restaurant.

As soon as I walk in, I'm greeted with warm tortilla chips and salsa, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience.

I can't help but be drawn to the Pollo Diabla - an incredibly spicy, flavorful dish that keeps me coming back.

For those who can't make up their minds, the Ranchero fajitas offer a delightful mix of shrimp, chicken, chorizo, steak, beef, bell peppers, and onions.

Trust me, it all works together perfectly!

What really stands out about Mi Rancho is the excellent value for money.

Each dish comes with rice, refried beans, guacamole, and sour cream, and I must say, the beans and rice have a wonderful kick to them.

They're not just an afterthought but a delicious part of the meal.

The atmosphere at Mi Rancho is lively and fun, with upbeat music playing and TVs blaring.

The bright pink walls and neon green booths add to the wonderfully chaotic environment that makes dining here such a unique experience.

Aroy Dee

I've always been a fan of Asian cuisine, and when I heard about Aroy Dee, a local casual eatery that offers a mix of Thai and Japanese cooking, I knew I had to give it a try.

The moment I walked in, it was evident that the restaurant prioritized the quality of their food over extravagant interior decoration, which, honestly, I'm okay with.

As I settled down for my meal, I ordered Fried Squid, Crab Rangoon, and Spring rolls for appetizers – all accompanied by a sweet and sour sauce. The dishes were fantastic, and I couldn't wait for the main course.

I opted for their Pad Thai, which turned out to be 10/10, and some Drunken Noodles, which I'd give a solid 9/10.

The flavors were authentic, making me enjoy every bite.

Although the service was slightly slow due to the restaurant being busy with takeout orders, it didn't deter me from enjoying my meal.

The Thai iced tea was refreshing, and the complimentary Thai donuts were a delightful ending to a flavorsome meal.

The atmosphere is simply unparalleled, especially when you can sit outside and listen to the live music performances they often have.

The first time I went to Morgan & Co, I tried their Moroccan Bowl with Blackened Salmon.

The flavors were out of this world, and I found myself craving for more.

The French onion soup at Morgan & Co is also a must-try, as it's one of the best I've ever had.

Another dish I can't help but rave about is their Texas brisket lasagna - the pomarola sauce is so rich and flavorful, and the brisket is incredibly tender.

My partner also loves dining at Morgan & Co, particularly for their ribeye steak topped with blue cheese butter, served with blackened scallops and frites.

The scallops are always perfectly seasoned and cooked, although he did mention that the blue cheese can be a bit strong for his taste.

We usually end our meal with their decadent chocolate pot du créme and lemon cake à la mode, accompanied by an espresso martini.
