Sam's Pizza

As a lifelong resident of Fall River, I've tried various pizza places in the area.

But recently, I stumbled upon Sam's Pizza and decided to give it a shot.

I was not disappointed!

The first time I ordered from them, I got their chourico and sweet pepper pizza, and it was love at first bite.

Since then, I've also tried their 5 alarm and chourico with fries pizzas, which are equally delicious.

What sets Sam's Pizza apart from other pizza places in town is not just their mouthwatering pizza but also their excellent customer service.

They greet you warmly on the phone and ensure your food arrives warm and fresh.

On one occasion, I decided to try their lasagna and stuffed shells.

Both dishes were loaded with cheese and baked to perfection.

Sr Marie Restaurant

Let me tell you about this hidden gem I recently discovered in my neighborhood - Sr Marie Restaurant!

I was actually on my way to grab some ice cream from Ice and Roll when my brother pointed it out, so we decided to give it a try.

And boy, was I glad we did!

I had been craving some good Caribbean food for quite some time, and Sr Marie's did not disappoint.

Their menu offered a variety of mouth-watering dishes, but it was their stewed oxtail that caught my eye.

I ordered it with coconut rice, salad, and fried plantain, and it was absolutely delicious.

The oxtail was tender and flavorful, while the coconut rice and plantain added the perfect balance of sweetness.

To top it all off, I also got a mango juice smoothie which was gone as fast as I got it - it was that good!

My brother decided to try the goat with dark rice, and he was equally impressed.

He said it was tender and had just the right amount of spice.

We also tried their beef pastry, which had a great flakiness to the crust and nicely spiced meat.

What really struck me was the generous portion sizes, making the meal well worth the price.

Sam's Bakery

One of my favorite places to visit is Sam's Bakery.

It's a small, simple Lebanese bakery that has been serving the community for years with their traditional breads, meat pies, and other delicious offerings.

I can't help but feel like I'm part of their family as they always make sure to treat their customers with love and care.

My go-to order is usually their meat pies, which are honestly the best I've ever had.

The dough is soft, and the filling is flavorful and perfectly seasoned.

I've tried their spinach and cheese pies as well, and they've always been amazing.

Sweet Rose Cafe

I'm lucky enough to live near Sweet Rose Cafe and let me tell you, it has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a healthy and delicious meal.

This cozy cafe is a hidden gem, offering an all-vegan menu with a variety of gluten-free options as well.

My first visit to Sweet Rose Cafe was when I stumbled upon it during a lunch break, and I've been a regular ever since.

I absolutely love their Butternut Burrito, which is not only filling but also doesn't make me feel like I need a nap after eating it.

I even brought my mom over to try it out, and she adored the Roasted Squash Panini that she ordered – we also shared a gluten-free pastry and some iced black tea with lemon, which were both delightful.

Another time, I grabbed a gluten-free Pumpkin Chocolate Chip muffin on the go, and I must say, it was nothing short of amazing.

It wasn't dry at all and didn't leave me feeling heavy or bloated, like some gluten-free baked goods can do.

Harry's Restaurant

Harry's Restaurant has always been my go-to place when it comes to breakfast.

It's a cozy, warm, and welcoming diner that never disappoints, and you can check it out here.

One of the things I love about this place is the fact that you get more than your money's worth of food.

The portions are enormous and absolutely satisfying!

I usually go for the Greek omelet with a side of steak, and sometimes I'd mix it up with the Mozambique omelet.

Both are delicious and the potatoes are just out of this world - seasoned to perfection.

Whenever I have friends and family visiting, I make sure to bring them to Harry's as it's the best place to eat breakfast in Fall River.

The service, the food, and the prices are without a doubt top-notch, and I've never had a bad meal here.

Apart from breakfast, I also occasionally drop by to have a turkey club for lunch.

The service is always quick, and the sandwich is tasty.

Plus, parking is convenient, which is a huge plus for me.

Ocean Star Restaurant

Just last week, I decided to try out Ocean Star Restaurant, as I heard some good things about it from friends.

I must say that finding the place was a bit confusing as it's called St.

John's and there's just a small piece of computer paper on the door saying Ocean Star Restaurant.

As soon as I walked in, I noticed that the place was set up banquet-hall style, which I thought would make it perfect for a large event.

The bathroom was also quite spacious, with multiple stalls in it.

To my delight, there seemed to be a separate area with a bar, sports on TV, and billiards, which I promised myself to check out next time.

For my meal, I started off with some Calamari with sweet Chile sauce, which I found to be quite tasty.

Then I tried their steak micalense with fries and rice, which I loved.

My friend enjoyed their shrimp Mozambique, which she found to be quite satisfying.

What stood out to me the most, though, was their delicious bread and the refreshing drink they made for me.

The establishment has a good size parking lot and easy access, so it's definitely convenient for locals like me.

Marisqueira Azores Restaurant

I remember the first time I visited Marisqueira Azores Restaurant.

I was a bit skeptical at first, especially since there was no parking, just street parking with a meter.

I almost didn't go in, but my partner  convinced me to give it a try.

To my surprise, the place was quite empty at the time, which made me doubt the quality of the food even more.

However, as soon as I tasted the lunch bake white fish and the strange shellfish called limpets, my doubts vanished.

The white fish was flaky and buttery, and the limpets were so good that I had to Google them to find out more.

The humble atmosphere, generous plate sizes, and affordable prices were bonuses that made the experience even better.

Since that first visit, I've become a regular customer and have even used Marisqueira Azores for catering my family gatherings.

Their pork and little necks are unbeatable in the city, and the quality of the food always impresses my guests.

19 Prime Tapas

Just last week, my partner and I decided to try out this restaurant we've been passing by so many times – 19 Prime Tapas.

From the outside, it seemed like a nice and cozy place with great food and a wonderful ambience.

Little did we know that our expectations would be exceeded!

The atmosphere was perfect for a date night, with dimmed lighting and soft background music.

We ordered a variety of tapas and I must say, the food was absolutely amazing.

The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were so delightful that we couldn't stop ourselves from ordering more.

My personal favorite was the Paella, which was simply delicious.

And to top it all off, their grapefruit tini was just the perfect drink to complement our meal.

What made our experience even more special was the outdoor seating area, which added a touch of charm to the overall setting.

Grahams Hot Dogs

Just the other day, I found myself craving a good old-fashioned hot dog for lunch.

As a long-time resident in the area, I know that Grahams Hot Dogs has been around for quite some time.

So, I decided to swing by and grab a quick bite.

As for the hot dogs themselves, they're quite good.

I ordered a Coney Island dog with the works, and it hit the spot.

I guess you can say it's a bit of a guilty pleasure for me.

J J's Coney Island Hotdog

There's nothing quite like grabbing a delicious meal at J J's Coney Island Hot Dogs.

This family-owned establishment has been serving up mouth-watering burgers and hot dogs in the area for over 30 years, and it's truly a local gem.

I must say, I absolutely love their food – it's of great quality and packed with flavor.

I especially adore their hot dogs, making J J's my go-to hotdog place whenever I have a craving.

Not only is the food amazing, but the prices are also quite reasonable for the deliciousness you get.

It’s the perfect spot to bring your family or friends for a satisfying meal in a casual dining setting.

I can't count how many times I've visited Shorty's Pub Inc. over the years, and it has never disappointed me.

The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to hang out with friends or even make new ones.

One of my favorite things about Shorty's is the fantastic food.

I've tried almost everything on the menu, but the wings and the Portuguese steak pizza are two of my top choices.

The taste is simply amazing, and the portions are generous.

I've also enjoyed their live music on several occasions, which adds to the overall fun and lively vibe of the place.

Hong Meas Restaurant

I've had always heard great things about Hong Meas Restaurant.

So, one weekend, my partner and I decided to give it a try.

As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with warm Southeast Asian decorations that set the tone for the evening.

We started with the combination pho, Cambodian crepe, and stir-fried beef pin noodles.

I must say, everything tasted amazing!

The beef pin noodles, in particular, were out of this world – tender beef and incredible flavors.

Although the pho was a tad sweet for my taste, the soup was still flavorful, and the noodles were cooked to perfection.

The Cambodian crepe was an interesting and delicious dish, which was a first for both of us.

During another visit, we tried the pork sandwich, sweet and sour soup combination, nim chow, and chicken be bong.

The taste of each dish was so different and fresh, leaving us absolutely satisfied.

The best part about Hong Meas is its authenticity.

It reminded me of my mother-in-law's cooking, which is something I've been unable to find in other Asian restaurants in the area.

Patti's Pierogis

I'm always looking for new places to try out.

Recently, I decided to visit Patti's Pierogis, an informal Polish eatery known for their unique pierogi options, including dessert varieties.

Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed that it was quite chilly, so I kept my coat on while dining.

To start, I had the Cabbage Andouille Sausage Soup which was both hot and delicious, filled with plenty of meat.

It was so filling that I probably could have shared it or opted for a smaller portion.

For my main course, I chose the Homemade Kielbasa ring, and I also shared the "8 Is Enough" dish with a friend, which we customized with sweet Italian sausage instead of the standard potato cheese pierogi.

My friend ordered half a dozen Specialty Pierogis as well.

We quickly realized that we had ordered way too much food and ended up taking most of it home.

Joe's Shish Kabob

When I stumbled upon Joe's Shish Kabob, I knew I had to give it a try.

This Lebanese gem quickly became one of my all-time favorite spots.

While the typical Portuguese fare in the area is delicious, Joe's Shish Kabob offers a refreshing change with its authentic Lebanese flavors.

I find myself constantly craving their mouthwatering dishes - especially their generous portions.

There's nothing more satisfying than sitting down with a plate of their shish kabob after a long day at work.

Another great aspect of this restaurant is its proximity to the bike path.

I often ride my bike to the restaurant and enjoy a stroll after my meal, taking in the beautiful surroundings.

Caravela Restaurant

Whenever I'm in the mood for some authentic Portuguese cuisine, I love heading over to Caravela Restaurant in Fall River.

The atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly, making it a great place for a casual meal.

One of the things I enjoy most is the warm bread they bring to the table – it's simply delicious.

The portion sizes are quite generous for the price, and parking is conveniently available right in front of the restaurant.

I've tried a few different dishes here, and I must say the steak is fantastic, although I would prefer a bit more sauce.

The molho (sauce) is like a mildly spicy oil, which is a nice touch.

I've also had their chouriço sandwich, which is basically just grilled chouriço on bread – simple, but satisfying.

Gina's Restaurant

Just the other day, I went to  for breakfast at Gina's Restuarant.

I've been a regular visitor for years now, and I can confidently say that their service and food quality never disappoint.

The cozy, family-friendly atmosphere makes it a great spot to start your day.

During my last visit, I tried the pineapple cheesecake filled french toast, even though I'm not a huge pineapple fan.

But I was in the mood for something sweet, and I must say, it turned out to be a fantastic decision!

I ended up devouring the entire dish, along with the home fries it came with.

What keeps me coming back to Gina's is not only the great food, but also their impressive speed of service.

Sometimes, it feels like magic how they manage to whip up the perfect meal in such a short amount of time.

Additionally, the prices at Gina's are quite reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service.

The location is also quite convenient, making it a popular spot for breakfast and lunch.

Sheri's Place

I've been going to Sheri's Place for years now, and it has never disappointed me.

While the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, it's their house burger that keeps me coming back.

I can tell the burger is made with love and attention to detail; it's always juicy and satisfying.

I usually stop by Sheri's Place for lunch or dinner, but I've also had breakfast there a few times.

Every time I visit Sheri's Place, I'm reminded of why I love this local gem.
