I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gorilla Grill LLC for breakfast with my mom.
We were both delighted with the food and service.
I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, even requesting a substitution to add potatoes, and they were nothing but accommodating.
My mom chose the build-your-breakfast plate, and we both absolutely loved our meals.
On top of the delicious food and great service, I couldn't help but admire the decor, particularly the little canvases featuring gorillas.
I decided to return for lunch on another day, having seen positive reviews for Gorilla Grill's burritos.
I ordered a beef burrito with a side of mozzarella sticks.
The mozzarella sticks were crispy, perfectly toasted, and filled with just the right amount of melted cheese.
The beef in the burrito was cooked to perfection – tender and well-seasoned.
Xiongdi Sushi Bar
Just last week, I decided to try out Xiongdi Sushi Bar, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying an evening at Sidebar, a hidden gem in our city that I had been meaning to check out for quite some time.
Walking in, I was immediately struck by the beautifully dark ambiance that set the mood for a perfect date night.
It was a Tuesday, so the menu was a bit smaller, but the food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding.
A friend of mine had previously mentioned how much they enjoyed Sidebar, especially on Wednesdays when they have live music.
I'm definitely planning on going back for that experience, as I think it would be a great way to unwind after a long day at work.
Serrano's Libra x Libra Bar-N-Grill
Serrano's Libra x Libra Bar-N-Grill has always been my go-to spot for a fun night out with friends or family.
I remember one late night after a long road trip, we were starving, and Serrano's was still open, ready to serve us.
The Mexican hot dogs were simply amazing, and the fries, lonches, and charro beans were seasoned to perfection.

I even went to an upscale taqueria restaurant once, and their food didn't come close to what Serrano's has to offer.

East Ocean Vietnamese Restaurant
I recently had the pleasure of dining at East Ocean Vietnamese Restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience!
Everything was clean and polished, making me feel right at home.
The menu was easy to read and I decided to try the Bun Bo Hue, which was absolutely delicious.
It was a flavorful and spicy soup made with vermicelli noodles, eye round steak, and brisket that tasted like a home-cooked meal by a grandmother with secret recipes.
I also ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls which were quite generous in portion and full of fresh, high-quality vegetables.
The peanut sauce that came with it was just wonderful.
The great customer service and delicious food made this a memorable meal.
On another visit, I tried their pork with vermicelli bowl, which was very fresh with bean sprouts, carrots, and cucumber.
I also ordered the egg rolls and they were quite good.
My friend had the rice, shrimp, and sausage dish and said it was quite tasty.

One time, I tried their Mariscada dish, and it was enough to feed three of us with leftovers to take home.
Acapulco Barra Vieja
Acapulco Barra Vieja never disappoints when it comes to satisfying my seafood cravings.
The first time I stumbled upon this hidden gem, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the seafood and the friendly service.
One thing I appreciate about this place is how they are open to accommodating dietary restrictions.

They are open Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2 pm, and on Saturdays from 6 am to 1 pm.

Last Friday, my family and I decided to have a night out and try a new pizza place in town.
After searching for a while, we stumbled upon Armando's Pizza and decided to give it a go.
From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and quiet the place was.

Mi Chula Restaurant
Mi Chula Restaurant has become a regular spot for my friends and me, especially during the weekends.
The atmosphere can get a bit chaotic at times, especially when we have to wait for a table as a group of six.
One thing to note is that they only serve breakfast on weekends, but the food comes quickly and it's always delicious.
My nephews rave about their tacos, so I decided to give it a try.
It's a small place with a few tables and booths, and it can get quite full.
I ordered the huevo rancheros and a potato 'n egg taco.
You might need to be patient, as it took me around 40 minutes to get my order.
However, they also have a drive-thru window, which helps speed things up.
My total was $7, including coffee.
If you're in a hurry, I wouldn't recommend it.
On the other hand, if you are looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant experience, Mi Chula is the place to go.
It's not very fancy and the parking space is limited, but the food is amazing, super tasty, and cheap!
I had breakfast for less than $5, and it was delicious.
El Rincón de las Cazuelas
I recently visited El Rincón de las Cazuelas after hearing that it was under new management.
To my delight, the food and service were absolutely amazing.
I decided to try their all-you-can-eat breakfast, and although the menudo was a bit bland, I found that adding salt to taste was all it needed.
I'm not usually one for all-you-can-eat options, but I must admit that I indulged in a generous helping of pork.
The service at El Rincón de las Cazuelas was top-notch, and the freshly made tortillas and chicken were divine.
Kokito Chinese Food and Sushi
The other day, I decided to take my kids to Kokito Chinese Food and Sushi after school.
We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was!
The lo mein was delicious, and we enjoyed trying out different sushi and nigiri options.
Of all the dishes we tried, the sunomono stood out as the best we've ever had.
The sushi was incredibly fresh, and we appreciated how affordable the prices were compared to other sushi places.
One of my favorite aspects of Kokito is that it's a family-run business.
Some of the dishes we highly recommend include the Kokito roll, Sensei roll, Crab Kunomono salad, crab puffs, and egg rolls.
El Taco Place
I've been a regular customer at El Taco Place for years.
However, my recent visits have left me feeling disappointed and questioning whether I should return.
The menu doesn't have anything that stands out as unique, and it's pretty similar to many other Mexican restaurants in the valley.
The food is great and the service is superb that would make you want to come back for more.
El Patio Cafe
One of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat in town is El Patio Cafe.
This restaurant has been around for quite a while, and despite the pot hole riddled parking lot, it's definitely worth a visit.
Prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering how much the price of food has gone up in recent years.
My partner and I often enjoy their burger basket, which ranges from $4.75 to $6.75 depending on the toppings you choose.
The food is always delicious, and the service is great.
I've also tried their huevos rancheros, which were good, although I personally prefer my eggs well done.
It's worth noting that they do offer corn tortillas if you ask for them, although I received flour tortillas once.
The atmosphere at El Patio Cafe is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind after a long day.
Their tea is decent, and the prices are lower than most Mexican restaurants in the area.
107 Cafe
Just this past weekend, I decided to head to 107 Cafe for breakfast with my family.
Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with plenty of seating space available.
I opted to order the Tejano Style breakfast special, which comes with two eggs, your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage, French toast, and homestyle potatoes—all for only $7.99!
I must say, every bite was delicious and very satisfying.
My partner decided to try their beef enchiladas, and couldn't stop raving about it.
We've heard great things about their Mexican cuisine from friends, so I'm excited to try that on our next visit.
Their diverse menu provides plenty of options to choose from, making it an ideal spot for breakfast or lunch.
Old Cattle Baron
One of my favorite childhood memories was going to Old Cattle Baron on Saturday mornings.
It was always bustling with people, as a live cattle auction took place in the back of the building every Saturday.
The atmosphere was lively and exciting, and it was a great way to start the weekend.
The food at Old Cattle Baron was always delicious and the portions were generous.
The home-cooked meals were comforting and reminded me of family gatherings.

I have fond memories of visiting the saleyard with my friends, who were also interested in raising cattle.

I've been to Khan's Grill a few times now, and I have to say it has been a pleasant experience.

I do recommend getting the fettuccine noodles with mushrooms and zucchini with chicken.
The price is also great for the quantity you can get.

Zamoras' Restaurant
One of my favorite places to dine in town is Zamoras' Restaurant.
Their shredded beef flautas never disappoint, as they are always seasoned to perfection and incredibly tender.
The portions are quite generous, making it well worth the money.
The service is also impeccable, and I've always been treated with great care whenever I visit.
Breakfast at Zamoras' is another delightful experience.
It's no surprise that I keep coming back for more.
Palenque Grill Edinburg
One of my go-to spots for a special night out has to be Palenque Grill Edinburg.
The ambiance of this unassuming restaurant and bar is simply stunning, making it the perfect place for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends.
The menu offers a wide variety of gourmet Mexican-inspired seafood, steaks, and cocktails that never fail to impress.
The freshness and flavors of the dishes are truly exceptional, and the presentation is always appealing to the eye.
On my last visit, I decided to indulge in one of their seafood entrées, and let me tell you – it tasted even better than it looked!
