One of my favorite places to grab a quick bite or have a casual family dinner in Doral is Francisca Charcoal Chicken & Meats.
The hearty Latin American cooking served here is simply mind-blowing.
Trust me, you can really taste the difference with their charcoal-cooked BBQ chicken - it's the best-roasted chicken I've ever tried in the USA!
I usually order their variety platter, which lets me enjoy different tastes in one meal.
And I can't forget to mention their unique coconut lemonade; I had never tried anything like it before, and now it's a must-order for me every time I visit.
The food here is all about taste and simplicity, with Latin flavors shining through without any unnecessary fluff.
Francisca's interior is beautiful and spacious, offering plenty of seating for large groups or families.
Red Shallot
I recently stumbled upon Red Shallot while running errands at the local plaza.
As a fan of Asian fusion cuisine, I couldn't resist giving it a try – and I'm so glad I did!
The food, let me tell you, was nothing short of amazing.

When my friends and I dined there, they were more than willing to help us navigate through the extensive menu, which features a wide array of delicious Mexican dishes.
Everything we tasted was full of flavor and perfectly cooked.
The quesadillas, in particular, were a hit with the kids in our group, which made for a fun and relaxed dining experience.
While some may argue that the food could use a bit more spice, I personally found it to be just the right amount of heat.
However, for those who prefer their Mexican dishes to pack a punch, Sr de los Tacos Doral does offer a "special spice" upon request.

Dining at Sokai Sushi Bar Doral was truly an unforgettable experience.

I particularly enjoyed the Butter Crab Roll, which was both unique and delicious, and the Tuna Pizza and Tacos were also standout dishes.

Merkado31 Doral
I recently decided to try out Merkado31 Doral, a Peruvian restaurant in the area, after hearing about its delicious cuisine from friends.
To my surprise, the food was beyond amazing, and it quickly became one of my favorite places in South Florida.
The restaurant offers a relaxing atmosphere, so I felt at ease as soon as I walked in.
It's worth noting that the name outside the restaurant might be different and called Chullos, which caused some confusion for me when trying to find it.
However, after a quick call to the restaurant, I was able to locate it easily.
Merkado31 is a haven for seafood lovers, offering a diverse menu with numerous options.
Although I'm not a big seafood fan, I still found the dishes to be extremely flavorful and well-prepared.
For my meal, I opted for the "Tallarines verdes con bistec," and it was truly amazing.
My sister had the "Alfredo a la Guacaina con lomo saltado," and she couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was.
The Doral Yard
I recently had a fantastic night out at The Doral Yard.
The atmosphere was perfect for a laid-back evening, offering a family-friendly environment.
I went there with a large group for a birthday dinner, and they were able to accommodate all 15 of us at a big table without any issues.
One of the highlights of the night was the live band playing a good mix of music, which they alternated with recorded tunes when they took a break.
There were only four food stalls to choose from, but each one had delicious options.
I'm hoping they'll add more variety in the future.
My friends and I ordered Miami Mules from the cozy indoor bar, and the service was excellent throughout the night.
As for the food, I tried the duck baos and fried iosas, which were both tasty.
My friends enjoyed the fried rice with chicken and vegetables, and the margaritas got rave reviews as well.
Just a quick tip for fellow visitors: make sure to pay for parking in advance if you park in the garage and scan the QR code on the signs.
Aprile
I've been living in the city for a few years now, and Aprile is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to in Doral.

The dates were out of this world, and the truffle pasta was so delicious that I didn't want to share a single bite!
