Hidden away in a strip mall and walking in is like stepping into a slice of Italy.

The classy ambiance, complete with the glittering chandeliers and white tablecloths, instantly sets a warm, welcoming tone.

The service at Paul Manno's is nothing short of first-class.

But it's the food that truly takes the limelight.

The menu offers a variety of sumptuous dishes, with everything from pasta to seafood, not to mention their specialty - veal.

However, my personal favorite has to be the lamb chops.

Cooked to perfection and seasoned with an irresistible lemon sauce, they are the best I've ever tasted.

Though the indoor space is a bit tight, they've made good use of the outdoor area with tables perfect for enjoying a meal under the St. Louis sky.

Dumplings & Tea

In Chesterfield Valley, that place is Dumplings & Tea.

This spot is a recent addition to the local dining scene, but it's quickly become a favorite of mine.

Visiting this eatery on a cold, rainy day introduced me to their ramen, which I enjoyed while my friend savored their poke bowl.

The food was not only noteworthy for its taste, but its prompt arrival at our table was impressive.

The innovative ordering system, which involved scanning a QR Code from the comfort of our seats, made our experience even more seamless.

The dumplings, however, are the stars of the show, and I am eager to return to sample them.

Although my oolong tea could have been hotter, it was a minor quibble in an otherwise perfect meal.

Boom, it hits me - I haven't had a good Greek meal in a while.

My mind immediately drifts to Spiro's Restaurant, the jewel of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine in my city, St. Louis.

I must confess I stumbled upon a delightful culinary journey at Aaha! Restaurant tucked right in the food court on the lower level of our local mall.

Their commitment to their culture shines through, whether it's the authentic Kerala dishes they serve or the reading materials about Kerala they offer to indulge in while your meal is being prepared.

I must tell you, I was a novice to this cuisine, apart from the Malabar Chicken Curry I had tried before.

Imagine my delight when I got to experience a slice of Kerala right here in St Louis!

The Malabar Chicken Curry was flavorful, albeit a little thin for my North Indian palate.

The Beef Fry, however, was a revelation - a mouthwatering concoction of tender meat and delightful seasoning.

The real star, though, was the Pepper Chicken.

Here, service is always top-notch.

It's the kind of service that makes you feel special and well taken care of, setting Smitty's apart from other local spots.

One of my favorite things to order is their pork chop.

I remember that moment when a gigantic, perfectly glazed, and impeccably cooked chop was first placed before me.

It's the kind of dining experience that is hard to forget.

And let's not forget about their famous St. Louis-style pizza, generously topped and oozing with flavors.
