One time, I tried their fish sandwich dinner with potato salad and macaroni and cheese on the side.
While the potato salad and macaroni and cheese were delightful, I found the fish to be a tad too salty for my liking.
However, the superb customer service and the overall dining experience were enough to make up for it.
I also ventured to try their jumbo-sized wings with BBQ sauce on one of my visits.
Although the tangy BBQ sauce had a peculiar aftertaste, the wings were cooked just right and were quite enjoyable.
What makes Thyme After Time special is not just the food or the affordability but the homely and pleasurable ambiance that is a signature of local businesses.
Final Thoughts
After exploring the many culinary delights that Charleston, West Virginia, has to offer, I've come to realize the city is indeed a food lover's paradise.
From the hearty BBQ at Dem 2 Brothers and A Grill to the unique Jamaican dishes at Karubees, the diversity, and quality of the food here are unparalleled.
As I continue to discover new places and revisit old favorites, I count myself lucky to live in a city with such a vibrant and delicious culinary landscape.
