I had been hearing a lot about Jesse's Taqueria & Bakery from friends and even saw it featured on the Texas Bucket List YouTube channel, so I decided to give it a try.

I tried the Chile Rellano, and it was packed with amazing flavors.
I couldn't resist topping off my meal with some Tres Leche, and I'm glad I did because it was simply delicious.
It's evident that they take pride in their food and service at Jesse's Taqueria & Bakery.
Not only does this place offer fantastic traditional Mexican options like Picadillo, Carne Guisada, Barbacoa, Migas, Chilaquiles, Pork Al Pastor, and Chorizo, but they also have a wide variety of Tex Mex options such as chicken and beef Fajita.
I'm already planning my next visit to try their Al pastor lunch plate and maybe a breakfast taco with egg, bacon, chorizo, potato, and the jalapeño green salsa.
I'm so glad that I finally discovered this gem in my city.

It's just like the food I've enjoyed during my several visits to Siam.

Plus, they are more than willing to adjust the spice level and protein options to my preference.
Their Thai Tea is also a must-try – it's not only delicious, but the serving size is quite large as well.

I've found that the appetizers are a bit on the small side, but that's just fine because the main dishes are more than enough to fill you up.
And if you have a sweet tooth, you absolutely must try their raspberry cream soda – it's divine.
The atmosphere is great, too, with table, booth, and bar seating available in their stylish, modern digs.
Amico Nave Ristorante
Just last week, I decided to treat myself to a night out and try something new at the Amico Nave Ristorante.
I've heard mixed reviews about this place, but as someone who loves Italian cuisine, I had to see for myself.
The ambiance is quite unique; darkwood tables, brick accents, and low lighting give it a chic, modern vibe.
I started my meal with their excellent soup, which I would highly recommend to anyone visiting.
As I was feeling adventurous, I decided to try the Pork Chops, which turned out to be a fantastic choice.
