I've been a regular at this gem for quite some time, and I can't help but gush about the amazing food and warm atmosphere that Lamar & Niki's consistently provides.

The menu offers an incredible variety of delicious dishes, and I've never been disappointed.

I usually go for the two or three meat platter with a mix of sides, and it's always a hit.

Their fried chicken is some of the juiciest I've ever had, and the green beans are to die for.

My absolute favorite part of any meal here has to be the dessert.

I can't get enough of their 7 Up cake slice and peach cobbler – they're both so moist and rich in flavor.

Honestly, I could eat them every day and never get tired of them.

What's Tha Deal Barbecue

As a die-hard barbecue lover, I've tried many different places, but nothing comes close to the deliciousness served at What's Tha Deal Barbecue.

I often find myself craving their tender, moist brisket that just falls apart when you take a bite.

The ribs and turkey are just as delectable, making it so hard to decide what to order.

The prices were reasonable, and the quality of the food surpassed all my expectations.

It quickly became my go-to spot for some good old comfort food.

Martin's Place BBQ

Ever since I moved here, I've been a regular patron of Martin's Place, a historic BBQ joint that's been serving up mouthwatering smoked meats and tasty sides since 1925.

The no-frills, chill atmosphere of this enduring shack makes it the perfect spot for a laid-back meal with friends and family.

The first time I stepped inside Martin's Place, I was instantly drawn to the walls adorned with photos showcasing the rich history of Texas A&M.

It's fascinating to think about this quaint spot being a hangout for Aggies back in the day.

The friendly family that runs the place always makes me feel right at home, and they were kind enough to show me the BBQ pits that have been in operation since 1939.

It's amazing how they've managed to keep them going in the intense Texas heat!

In my opinion, Martin's Place is hands-down the best BBQ in the BCS area.

Their sauce is a vinegar base, which might not be everyone's favorite, but I just can't get enough of it.

If you're in the area and looking for a bite to eat at a place steeped in history, I highly recommend giving Martin's Place a try.

You won't be disappointed!

Jesse's Taqueria & Bakery

I had been hearing a lot about Jesse's Taqueria & Bakery from friends and even saw it featured on the Texas Bucket List YouTube channel, so I decided to give it a try.

The moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by Jesse's warm personality and friendly demeanor.

I tried the Chile Rellano, and it was packed with amazing flavors.

I couldn't resist topping off my meal with some Tres Leche, and I'm glad I did because it was simply delicious.

It's evident that they take pride in their food and service at Jesse's Taqueria & Bakery.

Not only does this place offer fantastic traditional Mexican options like Picadillo, Carne Guisada, Barbacoa, Migas, Chilaquiles, Pork Al Pastor, and Chorizo, but they also have a wide variety of Tex Mex options such as chicken and beef Fajita.

I'm already planning my next visit to try their Al pastor lunch plate and maybe a breakfast taco with egg, bacon, chorizo, potato, and the jalapeño green salsa.

I'm so glad that I finally discovered this gem in my city.

Burger House

I've been living in this area for quite some time now, and one of my favorite spots to grab a delicious, juicy burger is definitely Burger House.

The first time I walked in, I was a bit skeptical because of the exterior appearance, but I was more than pleasantly surprised when I took my first bite of their classic burger.

What sets Burger House apart from other burger joints is their fresh-baked buns, which make a world of difference in terms of flavor and texture.

I also love their build-your-own topping bar, which allows me to customize my burger exactly how I want it – a great feature for picky eaters or those with dietary restrictions.

One of my favorite burgers to order is the bulgogi burger – the combination of thinly shaved meat marinated in a teriyaki sauce with Korean spices is just heavenly.

I also can't get enough of their crispy tater tots, which are the perfect side dish to accompany my burger.

Zand's Persian Kebabs

The other day, I finally got a chance to visit Zand's Persian Kebabs, a casual outpost for Middle Eastern halal cuisine that I've been hearing so much about.

I must say, the food was absolutely delicious!

I went with a group of friends and we ordered three appetizers, each of which came with a flat bread.

The staff brought them out one at a time, so each flat bread was fresh and warm.

The lamb kebab was definitely the highlight of my meal.

I'm not usually a fan of onions, but they complemented the gyro perfectly.

One of my friends opted for a vegetarian dish, which she also loved.

The restaurant may be small, but it offers a cozy, rustic atmosphere that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Christopher's World Grille

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Christopher's World Grille for my anniversary, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations!

The historic home setting added a refined touch to the ambiance, and the gourmet fare with global influences truly made it a memorable experience.

We started off with the Brie cheese appetizer, and the mango jam that came with it was divine.

For our main courses, we ordered the South American Steak and the Salmon wrapped with bacon.

Both dishes were cooked to perfection, and I particularly enjoyed the sweet potato that came with the salmon dish.

The dessert was the cherry on top of an already fantastic meal!

We got the chocolate truffle with vanilla ice cream, which I highly recommend.

The presentation was lovely, as they wrote a sweet note in chocolate on our plate.

I've dined at Christopher's World Grille a few times now, and I can confidently say that their consistency in both food quality and service is what keeps me coming back.

As someone who has been living in this neighborhood for a while, I can confidently say that The Station on 29th is one of my all-time favorite spots to grab a bite.

From the moment I walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

One of the things I love about this place is its willingness to let customers sample a few dishes before making a decision.

This definitely sets them apart from other restaurants in the area.

I've tried a variety of dishes here, and my favorites include the barbecue chicken and the smoked wings.

Their cheese fries are also to die for – probably the best I've ever had!

Aside from the delectable food, The Station on 29th also offers a great selection of draft beers.

I particularly enjoy their stout, which pairs perfectly with their meat dishes.

For those who prefer a non-alcoholic option, their side salad and kettle chips make for a satisfying and well-balanced meal.

Whether you're dining inside or enjoying a meal on their patio, The Station on 29th provides the perfect spot for a leisurely lunch or a lively dinner with friends and family.

Dining at The Vintage House Restaurant was an exquisite experience.

The in-house made wines were impressive, and the knowledgeable servers helped me choose the perfect wine to suit my palate.

The food was delectable - I had the flat iron steak, which, although a bit tough at first, turned out to be delicious.

The pasta and sauce were simply divine.

And I couldn't leave without trying their fudge sundae for dessert, which was hands down the best I've ever had!

The cozy atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy week.

I have to agree with other reviewers that it's an excellent idea to pair a winery visit with a meal at The Vintage House.

I was particularly impressed with the bone-in rib-eye, which was not only well-prepared but also surprisingly affordable for the quality of the meat.

Downtown Elixir & Spirits Company

One of my favorite spots to unwind in Bryan is Downtown Elixir & Spirits Company.

Located at the LaSalle Hotel, this elegant, retro-chic lounge never disappoints with its unique cocktails, delicious Cajun cuisine, and live music.

I've been there multiple times, and I must say, their bread pudding is my go-to dessert!

When I'm in the mood for some Cajun food, this is the place I head to.

The crab cake Benedict and biscuits and gravy with sausage are always a hit during their Cajun brunch.

Pair it with a good cup of coffee and a $4 Mimosa to kick off a perfect Sunday.

Carney's Pub and Grill

Every time I visit Carney's Pub and Grill, I feel at home in their laid-back atmosphere and cozy outdoor seating.

They have a fantastic selection of local craft beers on tap that rotate regularly, so there's always something new to try.

While the food may not be the most outstanding I've ever had, it's still tasty and complements the drinks well.

I remember sitting on their patio one evening, enjoying a casual conversation over some chips and queso.

Although some of the chips were a bit soft, I could tell it was just the humidity getting to them, and it didn't stop me from enjoying the dish.

The customer service at Carney's is truly impeccable, and that's what keeps me coming back.

Carney's Pub has been a staple in my life ever since I moved to the area.

BCS Fish And Ribs

I can't tell you how many times I've stopped in at BCS Fish And Ribs to satisfy my fish and rib cravings.

This spot is a hidden gem in our community, and I'm proud to call myself a regular customer.

The catfish is always cooked to perfection - moist and hot, just how I like it!

The service can be a bit slow when the restaurant is packed, but trust me, it's more than worth the wait.

The food always comes out hot, fresh, and seasoned just right.

One word of advice, though: be careful with the fried ribs, as there is a bone inside.

Don't just pop it in your mouth or bite down without being aware of the bone.

What I love most about BCS Fish And Ribs is their great customer service and how accommodating they are.

The fish is always crispy on the outside and soft and perfectly done on the inside.

Bangkok Thai Kitchen

I must admit, I was hesitant at first to try Bangkok Thai Kitchen since it's located in a gas station spot.

However, after living in the area for almost four years, I finally decided to give it a shot – and I'm so glad I did!

This place offers truly authentic Thai cuisine prepared and served by actual Thai people.

It's just like the food I've enjoyed during my several visits to Siam.

One of my favorite dishes to order at Thai restaurants is Pad See Ew, and Bangkok Thai Kitchen does not disappoint.

The flavor is on par with the best I've tasted, and the portion size is very generous.

Plus, they are more than willing to adjust the spice level and protein options to my preference.

Their Thai Tea is also a must-try – it's not only delicious, but the serving size is quite large as well.

Aside from the Pad See Ew, I've also tried their Thai fried rice, which is truly scrumptious.

It's this amazing family-run trattoria in downtown Bryan that offers some of the best Italian pasta dishes you'll ever taste.

The pasta dishes, like the tortellini all’s capri, are absolutely amazing, and the sauces taste so authentic – they're really one of a kind in the area.

I've found that the appetizers are a bit on the small side, but that's just fine because the main dishes are more than enough to fill you up.

And if you have a sweet tooth, you absolutely must try their raspberry cream soda – it's divine.

The atmosphere is great, too, with table, booth, and bar seating available in their stylish, modern digs.

Just last week, I decided to treat myself to a night out and try something new at the Amico Nave Ristorante.

I've heard mixed reviews about this place, but as someone who loves Italian cuisine, I had to see for myself.

I started my meal with their excellent soup, which I would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

As I was feeling adventurous, I decided to try the Pork Chops, which turned out to be a fantastic choice.

The flavor and tenderness were simply delightful.

I couldn't resist ordering one of their pizzas, which was crispy, cheesy, and just the right amount of indulgence.
