The first thing I usually do is order a flight of beers.
You can customize it from a wide selection of brews, from ales to stouts to porters and everything in between.
Pair it with edamame and artichoke dip and you've got yourself a treat.

My personal favourite has been the fish, but to be honest, I’ve never been let down by any of their dishes.

In fact, the build-your-own-burger is a hit with both the two-legged and four-legged patrons.
But what truly sets this place apart is its unabashed commitment to creating an authentic ski lodge brewery atmosphere.
I can't help but feel at home with the excellent beer selection, the wild game meatloaf that’s rich and savory, the tasty trout with sriracha lime butter sauce, and the sound of good music in the background.
Myla Rose Saloon
Imagine an evening of delightful food, refreshing drinks, and a mesmerizing mountain view.
That's what you get at Myla Rose Saloon, a place I can't help but frequent.
One of the highlights of this place is their happy hour!
The margaritas are not to be missed either!
But it's not just about the drinks, the food at Myla Rose Saloon is something you'd write home about.
One unforgettable evening, we were stranded near the lodge due to an accident and had nowhere to go.
Despite the kitchen being closed, the people at Myla Rose welcomed us in and served us a meal that warmed our hearts.
That was a night that truly testified to the kind-heartedness of the people there and sealed Myla Rose's place in our hearts forever.
Another evening that stands out is when we decided to escape the downtown noise and chose Myla Rose for dinner.
Their new recruit, Zach, made our evening memorable with his excellent service.
Every dish they served was a delightful surprise, making it an evening to cherish.
BreckFast
The sun's just peeking over the Rockies, and I find myself drawn to one place - BreckFast, a cozy corner of Colorado.
The smell of freshly brewed iced coffee wafts through the air, accompanied by the sizzle of breakfast tacos being prepared.
As I push open the door, I'm greeted by a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
This snug eatery, always bustling with activity, serves up some of the most delightful handheld American breakfast fare.
The breakfast tacos, loaded with potatoes and green chili’s, offer a Tex-Mex twist to the morning.
Every bite is a burst of incredible flavors that wakes you right up and gets you ready for the day.
For those who prefer a more classic breakfast, BreckFast doesn’t disappoint.
I often find myself torn between their delicious omelettes and fluffy pancakes, always a hit with the little ones.
And if you're feeling adventurous, you can even ask for a scooped bagel, just like I did on a whim one day.
To my surprise, it came out perfect!
The service here is always friendly and quick, making it a convenient choice for a quick, satisfying meal.
But what really sets BreckFast apart is its unique offerings.
My pand I have been particularly fond of their stuffed French toast.
They serve it with whipped cream that's so wonderful, you'd want to savor it forever.
The Hoosier Breakfast Sammy is a dish that stands out, and the Whales Tail Burrito is another local favorite.
The chorizo, packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice, takes the burrito to a whole new level.
If you're visiting with your family, the tasty Main Street Burrito is a sure-fire hit with the kids.
Penthouse Restaurant Cafe & Bar
The tucked-away gem of Breckenridge, Penthouse Restaurant Cafe & Bar, is my go-to place for authentic Jamaican cuisine, right here in the heart of Colorado.
Tucked conveniently just outside The Village at Breckenridge, it's an easy stop for a hearty meal after a day out.
Trust me when I say their ox tail delight is sublime.
The meat, oh so tender, practically melts in your mouth, and the flavors are so perfectly balanced, it leaves you craving for more.
And let's not forget about their coleslaw, a complimentary side with every meal, that's fresh and tangy and adds just the right crunch to your dish.
But what truly sets this place apart is the passion and friendliness of the two brothers who run it.
Their love for their craft is evident in every dish they serve.
From their jerk chicken wrap to their jerk chicken wings, every bite is a taste explosion.
The Penthouse is not just about good food though.
It's an experience in itself.
The portion sizes are impressive – they don't skimp on serving you a full, satisfying meal.
The flavors are rich, the ingredients fresh, and you can tell that there is so much care and attention put into every dish.
It's always a pleasure to support small businesses, especially when they deliver such high-quality food and service.
Blue Moose Restaurant
Every time I lace up my hiking boots for a trail up the Quandary Peak, I know exactly where I'm going to replenish my energy afterwards - the Blue Moose Restaurant.
I guess you can call it a tradition now.
Nestled in the heart of Breckenridge, this cozy eatery serves up the best American breakfast and brunch you could hope for.
After a challenging hike, Blue Moose Restaurant's bagel sandwich is an absolute lifesaver.
It's like getting a warm hug from the inside.
Their iced coffee, with its robust flavor, is the perfect liquid accompaniment to wash it all down.
These guys know how to make you feel right at home, with their friendly faces and attentive service.
Breckenridge Distillery Restaurant
It's not every day you come across a place that blends rustic charm with chic elegance, all while serving knockout food and drinks.
That's Breckenridge Distillery Restaurant for me, my favorite after-work hangout spot.
Trust me when I say, the food here is mouth-wateringly good.
The Grilled Bang Bang Shrimp Rice Bowl is a personal favorite of mine - it's light, flavorful, and just the right amount of filling.
Now, if you're a fan of spirits, especially bourbon, make sure you set aside some time for the tasting.
It's an informative and fun experience.
I remember trying the two free sips before deciding to pay $8 for the three samples of the higher-end bourbons.
Trust me - it was worth every cent.
The Madeira Finish gives a beautifully subtle taste, while the Rum Cask Finish offers a rich, deep flavor.
Don't forget to try the Bourbon Whiskey Blend.
It's their "basic" offering, but believe me, there's nothing basic about it.
I enjoyed it so much that I took a bottle back home.
It's the perfect way to remember a great night out at Breckenridge Distillery Restaurant.
Final Thoughts
Breckenridge may be known for its ski slopes and gorgeous mountain views, but the dining scene is definitely not to be overlooked.
