One of their standout dishes is the arroz con gandules.
None of that pre-cooked, reheated stuff.

This small, family-run spot may not be huge, but they sure know their way around a Latin kitchen.
I do have to mention, though, not all experiences have been flawless.
The lechon sandwich, for instance, left me wanting more.

And the yucca had a bit of a sour taste.
But overall, this place still holds its charm for me.
The black beans and black rice are always good, and whilst the food could be served a bit hotter, the quality always shines through.
