I've always loved our town's vibrant culinary scene, and over the years, I've had the pleasure of dining at quite a few exceptional eateries.

As someone who has grown up here, I can't help but feel excited to share with you some of the best spots to grab a bite.

Whether you're in the mood for mouthwatering Italian cuisine or seeking out that perfect sushi roll, this town has got you covered.

So, let's dive into our town's hidden gems and must-visit restaurants in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

In & Out Kabab Gyro

I stumbled upon In & Out Kabab Gyro when I was passing by the other day, and I decided to give it a try.

It turned out to be a hidden gem in Bensalem!

I was blown away by the tasty and fresh food, and the portion sizes were so generous that I got two meals out of it.

One day, after a long practice, I decided to head to In & Out Kabab Gyro again.

I ordered a lamb shank platter, and when it arrived, the tender and flavorful meat simply fell off the bone.

The rice was incredibly delicious, with raisins and carrots mixed in, and I couldn't imagine having it any other way.

I also added some of their white tzatziki sauce on top, which took the dish to a whole new level.

Another time, I tried their chicken platter, which was just as amazing.

It was super filling and made from high-quality ingredients, including fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.

The combination of white sauce and hot sauce made everything even more perfect.

It's safe to say that In & Out Kabab Gyro has become one of my go-to food spots, and I can't wait to try more of their fantastic menu!

Waterside Cafe & Diner

One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood has to be Waterside Cafe & Diner.

It's my go-to place for breakfast and brunch, and I've never been disappointed.

The first time I visited, I was greeted warmly and seated immediately.

I remember having a difficult time choosing between the Waterside omelet and the Maryland Benedict, as the menu is filled with delicious options.

I finally decided on the seafood omelet, and the generous portion of jumbo crab meat was absolutely delightful.

I've been back several times since then, and the friendly service and quality of the food have remained consistently great.

The seafood bisque is a must-try, and the French toast and bacon are always cooked to perfection.

I've also heard great things about their pancakes, and I'm looking forward to bringing my granddaughter to enjoy them soon.

Parking can be a bit limited at times, but it's definitely worth the effort.

This spot offers the most authentic Philly cheesesteaks, and let me tell you, they are massive!

My friend and I usually opt for half sizes, but even then, we could easily share just one between the two of us.

Despite the generous portions, the prices are quite reasonable.

Its cheesesteaks are hot, tasty, and fresh.

I've also tried their pizza steak with pepperoni and mushrooms, and it was fantastic.

The large menu ensures that there's something for everyone.

Old Friends Pizza

I have to admit, I'm quite a pizza lover.

And living just a few minutes away from multiple pizza shops, I've had my fair share of different pizzas.

But there's this one place that always keeps me coming back, and that's Old Friends Pizza.

Now, I've heard some mixed reviews about their cheesesteak pizza and the difference in menu prices on Grubhub, but let me tell you about my personal favorites.

The margarita pizza here is simply divine, especially when I add some extra sauce on top.

It's become my go-to pizza choice every time I place an order.

But one thing that truly sets Old Friends apart from the rest is their breaded fried wings.

They're seriously amazing – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, just the way I like them.

Vincenzo's Pizza

If you're looking for a great spot to enjoy some delicious pizza, Vincenzo's Pizza has got you covered.

I have been visiting this pizzeria for years, and I can't get enough of it.

My personal favorite dish is the pizza - it's easily one of my top 5 favorite pizzas in the area.

But don't stop there, I also recommend trying their Italian hoagie, it's full of flavor and never disappoints.

The quality of their food is consistently high, and their prices are very competitive.

Tako Japanese Restaurant

I absolutely love Tako Japanese Restaurant.

It's a strip-mall gem with unique sushi offerings in a relaxed Japanese-style space.

They even have private rooms available for a more intimate dining experience!

I've been going there for years, and let me tell you, their sushi is hands down the best on the planet.

What makes their sushi so special is the top-quality nori they use and the freshness of the fish.

You can genuinely taste the difference, as it's never frozen and always so clean and delicious.

My favorite appetizer is the yellowtail jalapeño – it's just so fresh and packed with flavor.

As for sushi rolls, you can't go wrong with the Rainbow Sashimi or Jay Roll.

My partner loves the Fruit Punch and Black Angel Roll.

They're happy to answer any questions you might have or make modifications to the rolls if needed.

Soho Ramen

One evening, I decided to try out this new restaurant in town called Soho Ramen.

As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the clean, modern layout and beautiful murals on the walls.

The bright white and raw wood aesthetic gave the place a trendy vibe, perfect for a night out.

I started with a few appetizers, which were not only mouthwatering but also beautifully presented.

The flavors were unlike anything I had tried before in Bensalem!

Shortly after finishing the appetizers, I was served an enormous bowl of ramen.

The portion was way bigger than I expected, and the presentation was just as impressive.

The temperature was perfect for immediate consumption, and as I dug in, I realized there was no way I could finish the whole thing.

Since my first visit, I've been back a few times to try other items on the menu, and I've never been disappointed.

Their Tonkotsu Ramen and Seafood Ramen with extra egg are particular favorites of mine.

Eggmania in Bensalem

I heard about this place called Eggmania in Bensalem, PA, and I decided to give it a try.

When I arrived, I was happy to see a big parking lot, so finding a spot was no problem at all.

As I stepped into the restaurant, I noticed a small waiting area, which luckily was empty at that time of the day.

I took a bit of time to browse through the menu and finally settled on a kid's meal for my daughters, an Anda Lahori, and a Kali Malri Chicken.

The two dishes came with a few slices of grilled bread, and you can substitute that with rice at an extra cost.

Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the Anda Lahori.

It was mildly spicy and tasted delicious with the bread.

The Kali Mari Chicken was also good with a kick of spice.

The tables were cleaned quickly after customers left, and ordering from the counter was quick and efficient.

I ended up getting the paneer lava fry with a regular spice level.

As someone who likes spicy food, I thought the spice level was just right.

The portion sizes were generous, great for one person, and most of the dishes come with toast and the option to swap it out for chapati.

Apollo's Family Pizzeria

I recently had the opportunity to visit Apollo's Family Pizzeria, and I just can't get over how amazing the entire experience was!

I had heard great things about their veggie pizza, so I decided to give it a try.

Let me tell you, it exceeded all of my expectations!

The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were so fresh and flavorful.

I also had the chance to taste their full-house cheesesteak, which was equally delicious and packed with tender, juicy meat.

Flame Kabob

I can't say enough good things about my experiences at Flame Kabob.

It's always a pleasure to visit this scrumptious eatery because of the delicious food and fantastic service.

One of the things I absolutely love about this place is their consistently fresh and flavorful kabobs.

I've tried many kabob places in my time, but Flame Kabob truly stands out as one of the best.

The lamb chops are to die for, and the kebabs are just as mouthwatering.

I never forget to ask for their signature white sauce, which adds an extra layer of yumminess to the already delectable dishes.

It's not every day that you come across a place that offers this kind of food.

Eddington House

Last Friday, I decided to check out Eddington House after hearing great things about it from friends.

As I walked in, I was greeted with a lively atmosphere and a packed house.

The place offers a family-friendly tavern with pub bites, sandwiches, and familiar mains, along with music and sports on TVs.

I had a seat in the dining area in the back, away from the bar, which was a nice cozy spot.

The menu had a good variety, and I opted for a meal that included soup or salad.

As the live band started playing, it did get a bit loud, but it only added to the energetic vibe of the place.

I must say, the food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were fantastic too.

Mama Russo's Pizzeria (Feasterville-Trevose)

I have to say, ever since I started regularly going to Mama Russo's Pizzeria, it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Feasterville-Trevose.

One of my favorite pizzas to order there is the chicken bacon ranch.

It's perfectly doughy, and the combination of flavors is just amazing.

I was impressed with their broccoli bites, and I have to give them five stars for their mozzarella sticks - they are simply delicious.

I also decided to try the Brooklyn pizza and fried pickles after reading some online reviews, and I was not disappointed.

The sweet tomato sauce on the pizza was a great touch, and the sausage was generously portioned.

I really appreciated that the pizza wasn't greasy at all.

The fried pickles were a pleasant surprise as well - full-sized and nicely breaded.

It's worth mentioning that they also offer a variety of slice options available for those who want to grab a quick bite.

Samarkand Steakhouse (Feasterville-Trevose)

One evening, my partner and I decided to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary at Samarkand Steakhouse, a highly recommended Uzbek restaurant in our neighborhood.

Since the reviews were outstanding and the pictures of the food looked tempting, we decided to take our kids along for a lovely family dinner.

What I particularly loved about this place was the atmosphere – all the tables were occupied by families enjoying each other's company over a hearty meal.

The Cherubek was to die for, and Ugro Oshi was warm and flavorful.

The service was also impeccable, and the food left us craving for more.

Musashi (Feasterville-Trevose)

I've always been a fan of Japanese cuisine, and Musashi Exotic Japanese Cuisine has never disappointed me.

Located in a shopping strip, this hidden gem offers a cozy atmosphere with its Japanese interior details.

My partner and I love coming here for their sushi, ramen, and donburi dishes.

Their ramen is definitely the best out of all the places we have tried in the area.

And don't get me started on their green tea ice cream – it's delicious and not like those milky matcha ice creams you find elsewhere.

If you plan to dine at Musashi, I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time as their dine-in seating is limited, and they prioritize reservation holders over walk-ins.

Plus, they have a nice array of anime-themed items and food that can be purchased, which adds a unique touch to the experience.

Toscana 52 (Feasterville-Trevose)

I find myself drawn to Toscana 52 again and again.

Every time I visit, I'm reminded of just how wonderful this Italian restaurant truly is.

The rustic atmosphere and spacious setting make it the perfect spot for both family gatherings and intimate date nights.

One of the highlights of Toscana 52 is undoubtedly their menu, which offers a wide variety of Tuscan fare.

I've tried a number of their dishes, and I've yet to be disappointed.

Their pizza, baked fresh in their oven, is a favorite of my picky son.

The weekly specials, featuring dishes from different regions of Italy, keep things fresh and interesting.

The outdoor area is festive and welcoming, immediately setting the stage for a lovely evening.

If you're looking for a great Italian restaurant experience in the area, Toscana 52 is the place to be.

Final Thoughts

With something for everyone, Bensalem, Pennsylvania, offers incredible and diverse dining options, each having its unique charm.
